**July 2026: Sunday Afternoon Visit** After an amazing (but exhausting) weekend at San Diego Comic-Con, my body was seriously craving something refreshing and nutritious. I had walked past Vitality Tap several times since it's conveniently located near my hotel, and on my last day I finally decided to stop in and I'm so glad I did. The space is a cool mix of a vitamin/supplement shop and a health focused drink and café spot. For a Sunday afternoon, it was surprisingly busy, with staff hustling to make drinks and açaí bowls. Despite the crowd, everything looked well-organized, and all the customers seemed genuinely happy with their orders. I ordered "The Dragon," which had pitaya, coconut water, pineapple, and strawberries. It was incredibly refreshing, which was exactly what I needed after hours of walking in the heat. Light, hydrating, and flavorful without being overly sweet. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in the area to try their açaí bowls and juices. Great spot for a post adventure reset. read more

We got a half and half Acai bowl and was disappointed that only the first 3 ingredients came with the order. More than 3 toppings you have to pay more. So after choosing banana, strawberry and blueberries which are very typical must haves for an Acai bowl it was always $15. Granola or normal crunchy toppings weren't included. I stopped by vitality tap to grab an açaí bowl for a late lunch. The açaí and smoothie bar is located inside the nutrition shop. The girls working the register were really sweet and helpful. I love that the bases are unsweetened! I've never tried a bowl like that before but I strongly prefer it now! The toppings are customizable and there are plenty to choose from. I came here for the first time today the actually shop has a lot to choose from and the coffee/smoothie area is very cute. They have a large menu to choose from. Today I went with the ube latte which was very good- I got mine iced. It wasn't too sweet which I love. One big thing I have to say is the staff was really great! We have been to a couple places where the staff especially when they are a bit younger are just outright rude. The two ladies today were completely friendly made my coffee quickly and they were nice to my dog! I will definitely be back! read more
