This place has the most amazing and also delicious food you will ever find in Charlotte. The staff are also very friendly and the prices are definitely reasonable. I would recommend it to all my friends and family.

This restaurant is the go to spot for a really good breakfast! The food is pretty good! The staff is down to earth, engaging and focused on their customers dining experience. The restaurant is clean and there is ample space between tables. This place has been serving the Charlotte area for over 60 years! I have been getting the sausage and egg omelet with grits. No complaints! The staff has their regulars, but treats every customer like family. If you are in Charlotte and want a good breakfast, do yourself a favor and give Pressley Park Restaurant a try! Cash/Credit/Debit are accepted here.

The best home cooking in the area by far the best breakfast, too. Bacon, egg and cheese sandwich with liver mush is to die for. A long time Charlotte staple Nick and his family go out of their way to make your dining experience the best there is. I definitely recommend it. Prizeworthy as well.

Awesome diner food when you're passing through the area and looking for something warm and friendly. This place is filled with comfort food that hits the spot just right. They have daily specials with a great variety of things to choose from that gives you loads of options.

Pressley Park Restaurant is unapologetically kitschy, charmingly retro, and super good! I stumbled upon this little gem this morning and decided to check it out in spite of its less-than-stellar Yelp rating. Boy, am I glad I did! Pressley Park Restaurant boasts, by way of a huge banner hanging off the roof (which worked by the way because it lured me in!), a $3.85 big breakfast. This special includes two eggs, hashbrowns or grits, biscuit or toast, and bologna or sausage. If you want to increase your breakfast meat options, for $5.25 you can have the same, but choose from bacon, livermush, bologna, sausage, or ham. The coffee is delightful! It's very light, so you can drink several cups without being zooted. They serve it in small cups so the waitress refills often and it stays warm. Pressley Park Restaurant is definitely worth adding to the breakfast diner rotation. I have not sampled their other offerings, but they serve breakfast all day, so why would you? They even have a drive-thru, for days when told are in a hurry!

Awesome service and food! Love the old school diner vibes. Corned beef hash was something else. Thankful for a local place like this.

Good hole in the wall spot. It's not fancy, but it's exactly what I wanted, not expensive and good food & excellent service.

We started with a few drinks and the dip trio (love the plantain chips!) But what set us off right was the mojito! Asia, our bartender, made an outstanding drink. As former bartenders we can be a bit critical and rarely have a mojito we really like. We got a second one just to see if it was a fluke lol, but she delivered again. Consistency is important. The excellent service continued with our server Tony. He made great suggestions and helped us make sure to guide us through the menu as we aren't familiar with Peruvian cuisine. I had the Plancha Chicken and it was fantastic. My bf had lettuce wraps and the tuna ceviche which he devoured. Great food, excellent service, and kudos to the manager Darnell who checked in with us. We will be back soon!

We ordered a couple of items, including mocktails, and while the food and drinks were just OK and didn't quite stand out compared to other spots, the service more than made up for it--the staff was friendly, attentive, and made the experience enjoyable.  Overall, it's a great place to hang out if you're looking for a lively vibe and excellent service, even if the menu isn't the main highlight.

Our server, Austin, was awesome! He gave plenty of recommendations and made sure we were taken care of! We all ordered the endless summer margarita which had watermelon but also we asked for muddled jalapeños to get added which were sooo yummy that we had three each haha! Also, the Mexican candy shots were delish!! We opted to just split a bunch of appetizers over ordering entrees and they were all fabulous! We had the slicer charcuterie board which consisted of the chef's cheese and meat selections, roasted asparagus, and toasted bread and everything on the board was delish! We also really like the spicy tuna crispy rice and the bbq pork belly nachos. My favorite were the pretzel bites with beer cheese. The cheese came out with a warmer under it so that it stayed nice and melty for us! Lastly, we shared the monkey bread dessert which we were pleasantly surprised had some spiced apples in there as well which paired nicely with the vanilla ice cream on the side :) Overall, we had a great time and look forward to coming back soon!

The first time was in November 2025 and 2nd time March 2026 where the bartenders were professional, welcoming, knowledgeable, and made some of the best Bloody Marys we've had in Charlotte. The food was excellent, and we left both times excited to come back. Unfortunately, this Sunday's visit (around 2 p.m.) felt like a different restaurant. It was much busier, and service was noticeably lacking. We waited quite a while just to be acknowledged, our drinks weren't nearly the quality they had been before, and the Bloody Mary tasted like it came straight from a mix instead of being handcrafted like our previous visits. The food was also disappointing. It was much saltier than we remembered, and we never received the Caesar salad with steak we ordered. To the staff's credit, it wasn't on our bill, so we didn't mention it. Overall, no one was rude, but the attention to detail, professionalism, and overall experience that earned our previous five-star reviews just wasn't there this time. We're hoping this was simply an off day because we genuinely loved this place and would like to see it return to the high standard that made us regular customers.

The dumplings were cooked well and the chicken was very flavorful. The Southern Fried Steak was fantastic and well. No complaints about this dish either. Every component was well made and delicious. The only complaint I had was the service really went down hill after we got our meal. Our server didn't check on us until she delivered the bill which was disappointing because initially the service started out so well. The Southern Pecan is a good spot. Stop in and grab a bite.
