I took my 2021 Supra in for an alignment on a Monday around 4pm, Tuesday morning (around 9am)…read more~20miles of driving later my driver side axle broke, due to the inner CV Joint bearing cage failing into pieces. After reviewing my dash cam footage, I saw several things that led me to write this review: 1. Techs were very non-nonchalantly chatting about taking the cars they work on test drives, even going as far as saying that they've purchased their cars because of test drives at the shop. Is this a red flag? maybe... 2. Tech that performed my alignment can clearly be heard saying he is about to full send it. 3. Tech proceeded to joy ride my vehicle, high-revs, manual shift, play with radio, etc. Would my axle have broken on that day, regardless of my visit to Auto Science? Who knows... but I certainly I wish I could go back in time and NEVER trusted this shop with my property, broken or not. The shop's response: 1. Refunded my alignment... 2. Spent countless messages back and forth / uploading videos / receipts / etc. 3. Stated a couple times they would be less inclined to help if I left a negative review 4. Offered me $250 to help towards fixing the car - I decided to stop wasting my time emailing them at that point. I guess some people would think $250 is fair, since there is no tangible evidence the test drive/alignment resulted in a broken axle... I am not one of those people. I've spent an insane amount of time and a lot of effort to get my car towed/fixed at home, this doesn't even being to cover it. My opinion: It is impossible for me to treat the axle failure as an isolated event, I didn't even get a chance to push the car before it broke. TL/DR: Tech took my car on a joy ride and my driver side CV Joint blew up around ~20miles later.

I have been a customer of Pioneer Automotive since about 2012 when I moved to the Hickory Creek…read morearea. I have always received the best of service which started out with a State Inspection. Over the years the business moved to its larger state of the art facility further down on Teasley across from Guyer High school offering several working bays and a stylish waiting area with the same great customer service and accommodations. They have started back doing State Inspection as of this year! I have been with them for 9 years and they continue to be very relevant for me and my family for all our auto needs. I especially like the overall service point inspection to keep you up to date on your car's needs to get ahead on the maintenance required for optimal performance. I believe and trust in Pioneer Automative.

I show them a video of my car at night and you clearly can tell the lights aren't working. They finally agree that there's a problem and say they can replace the bulbs for me. A little while later the lights have been replaced, but I can't tell if the lights work because it's still day time. I wait until night and flip the switch. Nothing. I go back the next morning to let them know and they say "If we let you leave, it was working". So now they're calling me a liar and want an additional $200 for diagnostics that they didn't run when I first brought my car in. No thanks. I'll take my car elsewhere. I'm not trusting you guys if you didn't even offer the diagnostic the day before and tried to brush me off twice in 2 days. They said they would reach out to try to resolve the problem, but it's been a month and I haven't heard back.

Overpriced, Poor Service, and No Accountability…read more This has been the most disappointing automotive service experience I've had in over 25 years. I purchased a rebuilt transmission from this shop for my 2002 Corvette, which came with only a 24-month warranty--despite the cost being over $4,000 for parts and installation. This was already significantly higher than market average, but I chose them due to their proximity to the collision center working on my vehicle. Just eight days after the warranty expired, the transmission lost 3rd gear and drive. I was stranded on the side of the highway and repeatedly called the owner for help--calls which went unanswered until I used a different number. At that point, he told me to arrange my own roadside assistance. Once the vehicle was at their shop, I waited a full week before being told I needed to sign a work authorization just to get things started. When I asked if the repair was covered under warranty, I was told, "Your warranty expired--I'm not doing it for free." He offered a 25% discount on another rebuilt transmission, which would still cost over $3,000. At this point, I began calling around and found at least five other reputable shops offering the same service, with the same 24-month warranty, for under $1,800. When I was at the shop, even one of the mechanics mentioned that this is how customers are "usually treated." I rarely leave reviews, but this experience warranted it. Between the inflated prices, poor communication, and lack of customer support, I would strongly caution anyone considering this location. Please reconsider.
