Our Toyota Corolla's engine light came on and then the car stopped turning on at all. We were worried that it would be a huge issue and weren't able to take it to the dealership. Scheduling was super easy and quick. DFW Mobile Repair came to our home promptly at their scheduled time, and they did a great job communicating with us before, during, and after the service. It turns out it was a corroded battery. The price for the diagnostic and the service he completed was a fair price and I felt we were in good hands with honest mechanics. The technician even suggested we take the battery to autozone since it should still be under warranty and that is just what we did (they replaced it free of charge). Our car is back in business and we won't hesitate to use them again if the need should arise.

A second repair facility documented the damage, including oil pan damage requiring replacement, and I ultimately had to pay for the repairs myself. Fifth Gear initially acknowledged the issue and offered to assist, but later reversed their position and stated they would only address the issue if the vehicle was returned to their shop. Due to the documented improper installation that caused the damage, I did not feel comfortable returning the vehicle to the original shop and had the issue repaired elsewhere. I filed complaints with the Better Business Bureau and the Texas Attorney General and allowed the full response period. It has now been over 30 days, and the business did not respond to either complaint. Very disappointing experience!!!
