Had to call Roadside Assistance to jump it so I could get to O'Reilly's Auto Parts for a new battery before they closed. They said it was the alternator not the battery. Contacted DFW Mobile Repair and Hamm responded immediately with a price quote to fix it. Set up the appointment for mid-afternoon the next day, July 5th (Sunday, on a holiday weekend). Hamm was certainly knowledgeable, and after testing, said it was BOTH the battery and alternator. He replaced the alternator (which he had brought, having had my prior information as to car and model) and then drove to O'Reilly's nearby for a replacement battery which he then installed. In short, Hamm was responsive, capable, courteous and efficient. DFW saved the day (although I lost most of the holiday weekend with the problem!). Pricing wasn't cheap but was competitive I'd say. Give DFW a shot. Their customer service and mechanical work was outstanding. They also have a shop in addition to their mobile repair service. I will certainly consider them for all my future work! My original experience involved an oil leak following service, and a second repair facility documented an overtightened drain plug, incorrect washer installation, and resulting oil pan damage. The process of resolving the matter was lengthy and required considerable follow-up on my part. However, after the documentation was reviewed by management, they accepted responsibility, apologized, and reimbursed the repair costs in full. I am updating this review to reflect their efforts to ultimately resolve the matter.

Luckily, Tim from Maverick Motors was more than willing to head out my way and replace the battery with a higher quality battery at a very reasonable price.
