I rented from less than prestigious property management. Let me confirm the awfulness that is this company. The only way they are getting more than one star on yelp paid friends. I'd rather naw off my own finger than deal with Brad Clark or any his team ever again. Like other reviews warned, he will take over half your deposit for an already clean house. He is absolutely useless when fixing things that are the owners responsibility. He useless at everything, to be honest, and that fact that his entire career is based on managing and logistics is a complete joke. You'd be saving your money and mental health by not renting from these people. Feel free to reach out with any questions. Today Christmas came early! I got a lovely email that stated Prestige Slumhouse Management is no longer in charge of our complex. Let us all join together and scream HALLELUJAH! They have to be the most incompetent, asinine company I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. From the moment we moved in we had problems. The mailbox they had was outdated and would soak our mail when it rained, on top of that the key would barely work so I told them they needed to fix the issue because I was unable to get my mail at points and they tried to tell me to contact USPS because it wasn't their mailbox. I quickly confirmed that was a lie (there was no USPS logo but I called the post office just to confirm). When I called them back, they confessed it was in fact their mailbox and they ended up replacing it with a USPS mailbox so they wouldn't have to deal with the same issue ever again. Problem solved, right? Wrong. They purposely gave me a key that didn't work. Because well.. they are trash. We found cockroaches immediately after moving in and they took a month + to get the house sprayed. Missing/torn screens, blind slates, etc. took several months to replace. They wouldn't maintenance the tree that covers our patio - it's mostly dead and drops leaves and bugs on everything. Everything felt like pulling teeth. They are worthless. Anyways. You've reached the grand finale.. They had us move in without disclosing that their was a active & vicious "navy service" German Shepard next door - which of course we only met after signing the lease. This is something we would of never accepted had we known (we have two small dogs under 10 pounds). This dog had been biting chunks out of our adjoining fence. So what did these slumlords do? They proceeded to tell me they couldn't do anything and that dogs will be dogs. When I threatened them in the event myself or my animals got injured (the fence had holes big enough for the dog to fit it's snout/mouth through) they decided to pay a worker from Home Depo to come and nail plastic planks across the fence. I kid you not..they didn't replace the janky fence. They put PLASTIC PLANKS across it. Our dogs ended up getting into an altercation one day in which the owner allowed his dog to clamp onto my forearm as I was reaching for my 9 pound Pom to avoid him getting chomped to death - I had to go to Urgent care and now permanently have a scar on my arm. If the dog hadn't been "federal property" and the laws weren't so difficult around that, I would of sued this management company and made sure the owner lived in a bush. There are a million places to rent STEER CLEAR from these imbeciles, they're all as dumb as a box of rocks. I was actually looking forward to the day they tried to pull ANYthing with our $$$ - I had a lawyer waiting on speed dial. VERY, VERY UNRESPONSIVE BRAD & ALLYSSA! Shame on You!!! Our daughter rented a vacation home for a week in Ocean City NJ using Brad & Allyssa they gave us the wrong code for the front door. The door was open when we arrived on Saturday afternoon, we unpacked and left to walk the boards for dinner. Upon returning we were unable to unlock the door with the code they provided us. We tried for SEVERAL hours to reach both of them by cell, text and email it is now 15 hours later we have still not heard from them! VERY UNRESPONSIVE! Since Ocean City is an island there are no locksmiths available to let us in. Thanks to the kindness of strangers a neighbor had a vacant unit for us to sleep for the night. We left the car keys in the unit so we couldn't even drive back home. I would give them less than a one star if it were possible. I will be sure to make sure everyone I know who visits Ocean City is aware of these people and to rent their vacation home from a different realtor/property management company! read more

This company has not returned my phone calls for the past 7 days. I've been enquiring about a rental in Seal Beach and as they go very quickly I wanted to see it ASAP. I decided to send a message through Zillow and I received a reply from Brad Clark finally on a Thursday asking when I wanted to see it. I replied back immediately that I wanted to see it Saturday's 1030 AM . He replied he'd ask the Tenent. I didn't hear back from him Friday and it's a 2 hr drive so I called and emailed. Saturday morning I called and emailed. So Saturday at 11 AM I recurved this email I am out of the office and the tenant is not allowing showings at this time. This is the most unprofessional real estate experience I've ever had and I warn property owners from using their services as they don't care about the properties. read more

- They said property was only available on weekends, and then changed it to Saturday only. - We scheduled an appointment or the following Saturday. The day before we tried to get a confirmation and nothing. We still showed up, and no one was there to talk to us. We called and no one answered. We left a message and still no call back. - If the unit was already leased, a follow up call to let us know so we didn't have to waste our time would have been appreciated. Horrible experience with the company Prestige Property Management LLC were our property managers, from July 2018 till July 2019. When we moved in, Brad Clark took noted of all abnormalities of the property in the original walk through inspection. When the lease came up we were asked to leave, due to a family member moving in, which is fair. We had cleaners come in and left the house in exceptional condition. I have rental properties myself, so I know what is acceptable when moving out. After reading some yelp review, I realized that this company has a pattern of stealing their tenants security deposit. With this noted, we planned on walking through on the final inspection. We scheduled to meeting Alyssa, Brads wife, Monday July 1st 8:00 am. She had some excuse why she wasn't going to make it, so after 2 hours of waiting we decided to leave the keys at the office.This allowed for Raul, who is possible illiterate, to complete final inspection by himself. Long story short, we are being charged for everything Brad marked on the original walkthrough inspection. Now we have to go to small claims. Bummer! Prestige misrepresented a rental property to us on their website. We were looking for a home to rent temporarily. We meet at the site with Brad and then filled out the application information and paid two app fees. We then learned in an e-mail that the owner really wanted to rent it FURNISHED, which was not represented. We would never have even looked at it had we known. They then had the audacity to say they would consider us if we agreed to pay $200/mo more and pay half the cost for the owner to move out their furnishings! (This on top of a high rental rate for a tired home that had not had upgrades in years. To add insult, we were then told that our app fees were non-refundable. BEWARE of this firm's representations in anything you might consider - buy or rent. Their websites mislead the public and they keep your money. We secured another location in a straightforward manner with a professional agent. I think we dodged a bullet. read more

Highly recommend avoiding this company in particular (Alyssa Morello-Clark and Brad Clark in particular). - always difficult to reach - multiple phone efforts to ever have a conversation - conversations often circular and at many points we went directly to the owner because nothing (even reasonable things) could be accomplished through the company - at the end tried to deduct a huge cleaning fee from our deposit- only to find that they were paying someone a fraction of the cost in cash (however happy to send us an "invoice" regarding the full amount.) - ultimately shady and difficult to deal with. read more

I've gotta say that I've tried to reach these people 3 times about an available rental and can't get anyone on the phone. I received an email eventually with a viewing appointment for today and no one showed up. I emailed my complaint back and asked if someone could call me or if there was a direct number i could call to talk to the representative and I was told that communication via email was preferred. I don't really trust a property management company that i cannot voice my concerns or even coordinate a viewing! My guess is the other negative reviews are spot on about this business... There are laws and move-in/move-out checklists for a reason. Prestige Property Management will ignore laws and checklists. They will charge you for pre-existing conditions that are noted, acknowledged, and signed on said checklists. They will fail to show up for your move out walk through. They will ignore your emails. They will acknowledge overcharges from your deposit and tell you they will refund money and you will not get the refund. They will send you an insufficient breakdown of charges and will not supply a proper breakdown until you remind them they are breaking the law. Brad Clark is an awful business owner and does not care one bit about tenants, tenants rights, or the laws. He will avoid your calls and ignore your emails. He will lie in emails claiming he wasn't aware of issues even though he had been copied on every piece of correspondence. He fails to understand that tenants are his clients too, not just the owners. Brad and his team will screw you over. Keep everything in writing if you rent from Prestige Property Management. They don't care about you. read more

They don't deserve one star. We were approved on a place in Huntington Beach. I had an extremely hard time contacting anyone from their company. This is by far one of the worst experiences I have ever had. I'm extremely shocked this company is still in business. With everything going on in this sensitive time they should be ashamed of themselves. If you want to rent Sandra Lee be careful. My opinion they owe us our money back for pulling our credit and accepting the apps. read more

Finding Brad and this company was one of the year's best blessings. I called around and found him on a recommendation, and every reference of his I talked to used some version of a similar phrase: "I cannot say enough wonderful things about Brad." Since going with Prestige I have been blown away (seriously blown away) by how amazing this service is. The rate is great, he doesn't "nickle and dime" us on any charges like other services would, his wife is amazing and also contributes, he goes above and beyond his job description again and again and again. Hubby and I rented a property in San Clemente that they manage and everything went amazingly well and smooth. Alyssa Morello-Clark was always super helpful and thorough. When we had to break our lease after only 6 months due to a job relocation we thought that it would be a problematic thing, but Alyssa made sure to make it super smooth and problem-less. Our questions were always answered, our problems were always fixed, they were 100% considerate with our time and communicative with the times/dates to show the apartment when we were about to leave.
