So I left and went to East Dallas the same day and had my oil changed (filter/gasket) at my normal Tale 5 with no problem. Hunter was just lazy or didn't want to work because clearly Take 5 was able to change my oil. He also gave very angry vibes. I'm extremely disappointed with the service I received here, especially because this became a…read moreserious safety concern. I brought my vehicle in for an oil change and was told by the representative that everything had been checked and that my car was in great condition. Approximately 20 minutes after leaving the appointment, one of my tires popped. After having the vehicle inspected elsewhere, I learned that two of my tires were bald and deteriorating from the inside. This was especially concerning because I had just been assured that the vehicle had been checked and everything looked fine. A proper inspection should have identified tires in that condition, particularly when they were deteriorated enough for one to fail shortly after leaving. I also discovered that the filter that should have been addressed during the service was not changed, which raised even more questions about how thoroughly my vehicle was actually inspected. I understand that routine maintenance cannot prevent every unexpected issue, but telling a customer that their vehicle has been checked and everything is fine creates an expectation that obvious safety concerns have actually been reviewed. Driving away with two severely worn tires, only to have one pop 20 minutes later, could have resulted in a much more serious situation. This experience has left me with very little confidence in the quality and thoroughness of the service I received. I would strongly recommend that customers independently verify their vehicle's condition rather than relying solely on the inspection performed here.
