Prestige Urgent Care is the best Urgent Care in Redding. The office is always clean and quiet. The medical and office staffs are prompt and professional. Tre-Von the medical assistant is a ray of sunshine, especially when you're feeling miserable. I've never had a bad experience here. BE AWARE: They don't take any insurance. A basic office visit is $95, plus any tests or procedures you might need. You must pay this amount yourself at the time of your appointment. The process to be reimbursed by your insurance might take up to 30 days. This is a minor inconvenience to me, for the quality of care and pleasantness of environment which I experience. read more

I had my reservations on what type of care I would receive... after talking w/ the front desk staff they paired me up w/ Vanessa as my primary care. I had 1 appt w/ her and it was the best Dr. appt I've ever had. She was down to earth but very knowledgeable, she listened to every single thing I said and gave me great feedback and started me on track to take care of, and investigate everything I have going on. I really feel like I am going to be taken care of, that I matter and I am a human they care to help and not just another person coming through. The staff is all super kind and professional. Hands down the best healthcare decision my family and I have made. Rewind about three years ago when a kidney stone started to pass. I ended up in the ER, on an IV, given a Torodol shot and pain pill and flushed with fluids for nearly six hours before the booger finally passed. I about had a heart attack when I got my ER bill - it was over $7,000.00 not including labs that totaled over $400.00. Fast forward to our family now being Prestige members and yet another kidney stone deciding it was time to evacuate. Didn't need an IV this time, but I was given a Torodal shot, a pain pill and flushed with fluids. I was there for nearly five hours and when the stone didn't pass I was given Flomax which finally did the trick. What did I pay? ZERO - that's right absolutely not one cent. My Husband who'd recently injured himself had neck, back, shoulder and elbow Xrays {both sides}. What did we pay? ZERO - again, not one cent. The last time he had Xrays we spent nearly $400.00. I highly recommend Prestige Urgent Care. The entire staff is amazing, it's very quick in and out and the membership literally pays for itself in the event you do use it. read more

I've been here a couple of times and have nothing but good to say about their care. I was recently treated for a mild case of Pneumonia that I contracted from a trip overseas. I was given steroids and antibiotics to help for my affliction. Now a week later all is well and want to place a review for them. We have never been there before but our 5 year old little boy needed to be seen. It wasn't urgent enough to warrant a visit to the emergency room but we would feel better on a Friday evening if a doctor could take a look. Thankfully, we got there and everyone was so nice. This is a very unfortunate situation. My husband has been laid off for 3 months, he is our sole provider. He is a type one diabetic and his membership at prestige lapsed last month. My mother in law agreed to pay for the membership reinstatement this month. My hubby went in last night to pay for it all and to see the doctor. The receptionist told him there would be a 5 day processing time but that didn't communicate to my him that he could not see a doctor for 5 days. He was shocked to find out that he was going to be charged an additional $95 for that nights visit. He tried to explain the misunderstanding to the receptionist but she wouldn't change the fee and he had already seen the doctor. I called today to explain the situation in hopes that we could work something out because we didn't have the extra $95 we were charged. They said they would reimburse our membership but not last nights visit. That makes it impossible for us to have a membership with them because we are having to use the $138 that was meant for the reinstatement and membership fees to pay for the one office visit. It makes sense to me that you would want recurring income rather than a one time office visit fee. I have always spoke so highly of prestige and am very disappointed at this out come. I am thankful they reimbursed some of our money but he still doesn't have the health care he needs. We were sold on having a membership for our whole family until now. I don't know what we are going to do. They had a chance to hit the ball out of the park, customer service wise, but chose not to. This whole situation is really disappointing. read more

Passing through on I*5 from Eugene to Elk Grove and having horrible allergy symptoms. Coughing so hard my throat is raw and am out of breath. Stopped for Robitisson and Cough Drops, hot tea and Flonase. Helped settle me down a bit, but by the time we hit Redding, I was back to coughing up a lung. Checked Yelp for Urgent Care, saw high reviews, called to check wait times. No waiting. Seriously? Yep, seriously. Upfront desk checked me in, assistant checked my vitals and moved me from rm 1 to rm 2. In walks a very lively Trish Patterson. She got straight to it by asking all the pertinent questions and giving me straight answers, great advice on how to get a leg up on my affliction by using over-the-counter medications and wrote me a script for some much-needed cough medicine. I am a happy camper! If I lived here, I would go out of my way to see her. She is smart, witty, pretty and efficient with her (and especially OUR) time. Now if only we could find a pharmacy that has the syrup in stock and is open. Guess you can't win 'em all! read more

The medical care is is first class. But the real feature of this clinic is the $79.00 monthly membership for those who wish to join. The advantage is that you can see the doctor as many times as needed without incurring even more charges for each visit. If you don't go to the doctor that month, you still pay the $79.00 What's really nice is that the medical costs are under control and anyone with a modest income can afford it. I went in for a problem and they decided to do an x-ray and there was no extra charge. They do charge for blood tests and other lab work, but it isn't as much as they are discounted. For those from out of town, this place is better as there isn't such a long wait. read more

***This urgent care does NOT accept insurance; HOWEVER, they will do an office visit for a fee (which was my situation). Dr. Jon and the rest of the staff were the BEST. Extremely caring and understanding. I was suffering from a sever migraine and food poisoning for three days and couldn't power through the ride from Portland, Oregon to Vallejo, CA. The front office staff put my information in the computer as fast as possible and I was in a room to take my vitals within 5 minutes of arrival. I was waiting in the second room to see the doctor within 5 minutes. It was great to be examined by someone who related to my condition and knew exactly how to treat it. I was out of there within 30 minutes, maybe less. And was able to make it to the pharmacy. I was finally able to get some sleep. I cannot be more thankful for all of the guardian angels at Prestige Urgent Care who truly CARED for my suffering and treated me well. God bless them all. read more

WARNING: THIS practice ONLY sees patients who are "members" or can pay out of pocket. If you have insurance and an urgent or emergent issue, they simply will not see you. The front desk staff was rude and unprofessional and when I asked about other Urgent Care clinics (this is not Urgent Care, this is simply a "club" ) in the area as I was from out of town they told me "you can Google it". Horrible situation today at prestige! I came in to have my ears cleaned out because they hurt. My ears don't drain on their own. Also came to get my usual blood pressure meds. Dr told me they were t going to fill my meds because I don't go there for the BP meds??? What??? Yes I do. Had the bottle in my hands. She looked in my ears, said they had wax and said she did t feel they needed cleaning. I told her they hurt and needed the wax out. I got charged fir nothing....no care was done. Will not return again for a $95 bill. She was going to clean my ears Agee I said please help me with my ears. She said ok, I'll have to charge $75 on top of the $95 to do so. WTH? Do t go there folks. It's a rip offfffffff!!!!!!!! If I could give no stars I would. Oh! My chart notes said last visit for BP meds nov. so ya you idiots I come there for my BP meds!!!!! This urgent care engages in unethical and dishonest practices. I called over the phone to ask if a membership was required to have tests run and was told no, that I could pay cash for the visit and any tests needed. When I arrived, I was told nothing at the front desk about membership requirements. After seeing the doctor she gave treatment options but said they were only available with a membership. This urgent care was like being at a used car dealership. They waited to bring you back to the exam room and reel you in with the hope of treatment options to tell you that you need a "membership". The doctor agreed to waive the visit fee and just give me a lab slip to get the tests done elsewhere, then tried to do a physical exam without telling me she would then need to charge me the $95 visit fee after doing the exam. She continued to try to sell her membership by offering "discounts" but I felt I was being manipulated while in a medically vulnerable position. Their business model is clearly money over ethical medical practice. I have never felt so disgusted by an encounter with "medical professionals." read more

It's taken me three trips to write a review, it's time and well overdue. The first trip here was with my husband back in 2017. That night they were slammed, but we were in and out in about 2hrs, which is what we have grown accustomed to in our old town. The Dr was really nice, but you could tell she was exhausted after a long day. Our next trip was this last Feb for my daughter. I was dreading taking her in, shes 3, so wasnt going to be a fun trip, but I was blown away. We were taken back within about 2min of checking in. We were seen right away. The kicker, my daughter has not engaged with any Dr before, usually hides, but she was more than happy to for the nurse and Dr here, even let them do a strep test like it was nothing! We were on our way after about 30min. Now today, I went in for me. Staff was great. Slight wait as there were roughly 6 in front of me in the waiting room, but I'd say no more than 15min. The MA was really nice, great attitude, and the Dr listened to my history and what had worked for me in the past seems I'm allergic to almost all antibiotics. I will keep taking my family back here, as well as refer anyone that asks where to go. They dont do insurance, but for us it's a win as our copay for urgent care is $250 just to be seen! So much better it seems without insurance involved. read more

I have a membership here and take my family here as well. They are usually good and fast. Today, waited 2 hours in the back room after my vitals were done. I thought they were just busy. Turns out something happened with my chart and they just forgot about me, so there I sat. After they knew I had been there, Dr. was between me and other patients and I felt the diagnosis was rushed. Dr. didnt know for sure if I had bronchitis or not or if it was contagious, but she was going to treat it like it was. Very weird and awkward experience. read more

I went to this clinic on a Friday evening at 5:00 after work. I didn't have an appointment and I was still able to be seen within 20 minutes of walking in. The entire staff was extremely nice and efficient. I was out the door within an hour of my arrival. They don't bill insurance but they'll give you the paperwork to bill your insurance which is not difficult. My appointment cost $95 which was worth every penny. read more

Such a great business model! Went there Friday with possible broken arm for our child. It was some of the best service you can get in this town. Very friendly staff and professional. For those with high deductible plans, this is a perfect match for any family with very affordable membership prices. I would suggest to not wait to sign up until you need to use them for the first time as there is a 5 day waiting period for membership to start. That is the only unfortunate part of having to pay full price for first visit if you didn't already sign up. Would be kind of cool to see that rebated back after 1 full year of membership paid as an incentive if they are thinking of any creative marketing and increasing customer satisfaction. read more

Better than hilltop medical. They had an hour wait, no seats, it was hot and they charge $85. Frustrated because told no problem going back to work when I asked about a release. Job wanted Dr release so called Monday. Receptions said would work on it and fax. No fax no call, same thing Tuesday. Called early today left message, no return call. Just called them again and told did call & left message; l received neither. I so appreciate Dr. Patterson taking the time to talk with me one on one and answer all my questions and concerns. She was professional, kind and knowledgeable. I also appreciate the front desk gals ..... they were very friendly, organized and made me feel right at home. Best of all was becoming established with Dr. Blaken as my primary care doctor. She is amazing. I love her energy and I feel like I am in the best hands possible. I needed to be seen for my horrible cough. The only place I could find open on a Sunday was Prestige. I went to the Eureka Way location. My first impression was how clean it was. The front office staff was great. The nurse cleaned and sanitized everything in front of me before it touched me. My doctor was just as amazing. Asked many questions took great care of me. I almost wish I didn't have insurance because I would love to pay the membership fee for this kind of care. Blown away by the entire experience. I was seen within 10 minutes of arriving and after the nurse took my vitals the doctor came in minutes later. Highly recommend. read more

Brought my daughter to Prestige. She was told that, since she was not a member, they couldn't order lab tests, etc. because there would not be any follow up care. (?) Nothing on their website indicates that there is a difference between non-member care and membership care, but they take your money all the same, even while telling you there is nothing they can do. After complaining to office manager, the nurse practitioner wrote an order for lab work which was not honored by any lab in Redding. Save yourself money and wasted time and go elsewhere. read more

Poor Service! My son sought treatment there. He had poison oak, and had a horrible irritating rash all over. He was told, any treatment would aggravate it worse. He was charged $110.00! (was a walk-in) Misrable, he walked in to another Dr. they treated it immediately! After many calls to office manager, she finally called me back. Told me owners felt he got proper care, and will not refund his money. Well, i will find every avenue to tell the public about this situation. How is that proper care? Best just to refund $ if you ask me. He's a responsible adult & works hard for a dollar. This mother is very angry! read more
