I had a horrible experience with Pretty In Pink Cleaning. I bought the package from Groupon and called to schedule an appointment. It was easy to arrange an appointment on the phone, so what went wrong? 1. The cleaning crew showed up 2 hours and 10 minutes late. 2. Cleaning service was lousy. 3. Two of my belongings were missing after the cleaning was done. 4. I tried to call customer service, no one picked up. Left a voice message. No reply at all. 5. Call again two days later. Again, no one picked up the phone so I left another voice message. Still no reply. I guess the keyword is "schedule an appointment" if I wish to get a call back? So basically, I can't even address my problem with the company...Just to be fair, Groupon actually took care of it in the end, but I still haven't heard a word from Pretty In Pink Cleaning. read more

TL;DR: They stole several irreplaceable items from my home, and didn't initially have a record of who was cleaning that day when I called to report it. If you have either Blanca Rodriguez or Iliana Ramos cleaning your home, be very careful and lock up your valuables. I'm extremely disappointed in this company. I purchased a membership via Groupon and was initially satisfied with the service I received (although there had been some issues with the cleaners not staying the full amount of time) The 3rd time they came, however, three items were stolen from my home. A $250 gift card, and two gold items - my husband's graduation ring and a gold medal (both from a university abroad, and thus irreplaceable) I was working from home while they were cleaning, and I saw both items in their usual place just before the cleaners arrived. Because they are irreplaceable, I wanted to give the cleaners a chance to return them no questions asked, but when I called the office to explain, Michelle (not sure what her role is) said she would call the cleaners to ask if they had stolen anything (right, like they'd say "yep, we did") In the end, I asked for the full names of the cleaners who were there that day, but Michelle would only gave me the first name of one. She would not provide the last name and said she didn't know the name of the other cleaner. I find that incredibly disturbing that they didn't have a record of who was cleaning my house that day. She was also hesitant to provide the name of the owner of the company (his info was easy enough to find online, of course) Surprise surprise, Michelle called back to say that the cleaners said they didn't take anything (of course) and when she finally provided the full names (Blanca Rodriguez and Iliana Ramos) she told me to just go ahead and file a police report, which I did. I did write to the owner of the company, but have not heard anything back. Stay far, far away from this company. They send different cleaners each time, so there is no accountability or trust, and they apparently have no qualms about rifling through your drawers. read more

I want to recommend these ladies for your house cleaning. We have a 2300 square foot house and our ladies came out, were on time and did a fabulous job! My bathroom literally sparkled!! I have two pups and you would never know they were in house. The cleaned the kitchen up perfectly, appliances were wiped down and excellent attention to detail. I signed up for their service and have had bimonthly cleanings. Unfortunately, this last cleaning I noticed a pair of earrings missing from a shelf in my kitchen. The earrings were there before the ladies came and missing after. I was told one was found in a vacuum, which is a lie. My house is tile and I have never seen them use a vacuum in my kitchen...just a broom. Also the shelf the earrings were on is still dusty..so why would they have even fallen off the shelf to begin with. read more

I have scrubbed and scrubbed it. I came home today and it was CLEAN! No spot in sight! Unbelievable. They cleaned my house better than Me. I arranged for house cleaning services with Pretty In Pink and was so disappointed in what I got. Once the cleaners arrived I got a text that they would not be able to complete the job within the time we had agreed, and they wanted to add more time. I thought that was completely unnecessary. So in the end, they just didn't do the things they agreed to do and have not responded to my messages since that time. We will be disputing the credit card charge. read more

DO NOT USE!!!! I would not use PIP services. I have been a customer for them for 3 years. Their services were very inconsistent having different cleaners coming to my home, rescheduling appts, etc... The straw that broke the camels back was when a new cleaning crew came to my home and stole $100 out of my master bedroom. When I alerted the company of what happen, no investigation was conducted. No management member contacted me and ask what happen. I received no correspondence on the names, work history with the company of the individuals who came to my home. I received nothing. I waited an entire month before writing this review because I understand investigations take time. I would not recommend Pretty in Pink cleaning services to anyone. read more

I really like this service. I get 2 folks for 2 hours 1 a month at a very reasonable cost. It has helped me so much in that all we really have to do is some maintenance weekly, I get to spend more time with my family instead of cleaning on my very hectic schedule. They help us reset our house. Note: these aren't people who are necessarily going to come in and do deep cleaning. They help me catch up on the big cleaning. I used them to do a move-in cleaning and this was a big mistake. I was quoted a list of things that were to included in the services. They only cleaned tubs toilets and appliances. This was only a portion of what was to be cleaned. No blinds were touched no carpets were vacuumed. The baseboards were not wiped at all. I tried to call to talk to a manager and got a voicemail and no response. Save your money and go somewhere else. read more

One star and they are FIRED ! I was to get 2 hours of cleaning and they cleaned around the counter tops, They were supposed to come back and clean for 2 1/2 hours the next time. I can't review them for cleaning because unfortunately I had to cancel my one year contract I purchased through Groupon when they didn't show up to clean my home for my first appointment. I tried calling them through two seperate numbers, I would say "hello, hello" and they stated they were not able to hear me both times. I text them and asked them to call me but when I answered the phone they didn't say anything and hung up. I then text them to let them know I will have to cancel my subscription and what do you know I got a call from them and they could hear me. They were very apologetic and offered to give me a free service but I just had a bad feeling from the get go due to some other administrational bumps. I don't have time for the hassle. Who knows what was going on? I also found that it would be difficult to schedule an appointment through their online system as the arrival time is a four hour window instead of a two hour window. If I need to leave for work at 12 they would need to arrive no later than 10am. When I called to let them know I would need an arrival time between 8-10, they did accommodate me. I have used PIP multiple times now. Really depends on who you get on any given day. Today's crew did not work for the full 3 hours that I pay for. They left almost 40 minutes early. The work was ok, but could have been much better had they taken the time and used the entire 3 hours. They were fast but lacked quality. I have also had occasions when the ladies are slow, thorough, work the entire 3 hours and yet are unable to cover off the entire house. But I will say that they are always professional and trustworthy. I have not had any problems with scheduling either. They are very good with text and respond almost immediately. read more

I had originally gotten a groupon that expired before I could use it. The staff that set up my appointment was very helpful and explained all the details and charges. The cleaners have just left my place, and they did an absolutely amazing job, even going above what was asked as there was still time left in the 2 hours I had purchased. I will definitely recommend them to anyone who needs help with cleaning. Their appointment time was anywhere from 12-4pm, and they arrived around 12:30 giving me time to get more accomplished. I made a mistake of purchasing 3 cleaning packages for 2 of my homes and one for a friend. That locked me into use since you pay in advance. I've been consistently disappointed and am done with them. The maids change often and you never get the same crew so you have to show them what to do. The quality of work is bad. Stull dust and things that need cleaning. I caught (on video camera) one of the maids drinking juice from my refrigerator out of the bottle then she put it back, there's been wall damage and when they move things to clean counters they. Just pile them up and don't put stuff back where they got it. The owners seem to care and follow up when I've raised issues but it doesn't translate down to the cleaning staff. The scheduling works fine but when I talk to the people managing the staff about quality issues I receive a "care less" attitude and they don't seem to mind losing my business. Maybe for basic general cleaning and if you have low expectations they will be ok. I say lock up your refrigerator and valuables. I suggest finding another company. Seriously. read more

They show up on time, and if there's ever a problem with their crew, the office staff will contact you as soon as possible and work out a perfect resolution. They do a tremendous job cleaning. After surgery I was unable to clean my home. I tried their Groupon which included the annual membership. I also added an hour of service. My kitchen was not cleaned and not a single room was dusted. Remotes and shoes were lost and I literally had no way of communicating with the housekeepers because I don't speak Spanish and they did not speak any English at all. I made attempts to contact the company regarding the issues and was ignored. I decided to attempt one more time since I got the annual membership but I couldn't even get them to communicate with me to find an appropriate time for them to come clean. The cleaning was not at all thorough, items are missing, absolutely no ability to communicate with the housekeepers and the company could care less and overall has terrible communication. I have been a member of PIP for a few years and have always had excellent service until my appointment on 3-16-2018. I had a young high school student who said she was just helping her Mom out during school break. The cleaning job was the worst I have received. I tipped each of them $20. The soap holder in the main shower was not touched and I had spilled a box of body powder in this bathroom. I cleaned most of it up but the residue left was not touched by them. I was informed by the office person that do have window sills and baseboards cleaned there is a extra charge. This is new info for me. As a younger woman I used to clean houses but my age prevents me from doing it anymore. Therefore I know when a job is not done properly. They dusted in front of the TV's but not behind them. Make sure you lock up all your valuables, especially jewelry/watches. Missing a Rolex watch after a cleaning. I have no proof they took it but I cannot think of where else it may have gone. Did not notice until the next day when I went looking for it. I feel it's somewhat my fault for leaving it out although I didn't do it on purpose I should have put it away. Did not provide all services quoted for. Ended up having to clean part of the apartment for myself. Owners did not offer to compensate and expected me to go get the drip pans for my stove top that the cleaners threw away without my consent. Lied about dashboards being "uncleanable" when I cleaned hem myself afterwards with no problems. Didn't even vacuum floors or dust doorframe and vents. Terrible customer service. First time using PIP. Took extra emails to get responses/confirm the cleaning appt. Paid for a 3 hour deep clean, crew was done 30 mins early however everything was thoroughly cleaned. I timed this clean just before delivery of our first child so we could come back to clean home from the hospital. This made all the difference to focus on the baby vs. worrying about cleaning up the house. Will use PIP in the future for general cleaning. read more

I scheduled Pretty in Pink Cleaning for an event I was hosting, and they canceled the night before the event due to an emergency. I understand emergencies happen, and if it was just left at that I wouldn't be writing this review. I told them that this last-minute cancellation was a huge inconvenience, as this was not just a routine cleaning for me, but it was for a big event and now I had to clean my house all by myself along with all the other things I was supposed to do to prepare for the event. I asked them if there was any way they could find replacements for the cleaning. Carla got back to me and said some of their cleaners who were on holiday agreed to come and clean my house on the day I had originally scheduled, they would just arrive later than expected. I was on the phone coordinating this with Carla on the day of, already busy with my cleaning since early that morning. I said that would be great, I just wouldn't need them for the original 5 hour cleaning service, since I was already doing some of my cleaning and would continue to do so until they arrived. I couldn't chance that the cleaning wouldn't get done. But I'd love help finishing it since I knew I wouldn't be able to do it all, and I could use them for 2 hours. Well, Carla checked on that with her supervisor, Monica, and told me they couldn't send out cleaners for only 2 hours. I asked why not, and Carla could not answer me. I said the only reason I could see was that they would not be able to make as much money off a 2 hour cleaning, however that isn't my problem since they were the ones who cancelled on me. I told them a business needs to think of the needs of the customer and make the situation right, and sometimes that means taking a cut in pay. That's part of doing business when you inconvenience someone. I asked to speak to Monica, and was told she was "in a meeting." So I asked Carla to have her call me back when she was done. Over two hours later she had not called, so I called Carla back. I told her I thought it was really strange that a local cleaning business is having such a long meeting, and at the exact time a disgruntled customer needs to speak with the supervisor too! The whole situation stank. Monica was clearly not in a meeting, and despite my repeated messages to call me to discuss how they could have solved the problem they created and chose not to, she never called me back. It is now several days later and I still have not heard from Monica. This company clearly doesn't care about its customers. Pretty in Pink? I think not. More like Petty and Stink! read more

I bought a Living Social coupon for a three hour cleaning from PIP. Once I scheduled them they came on time; however, they were only in my home for two hours. After the two cleaning women left and later in the day I went into my master bathroom and noticed a BIG STAIN on the granite countertop of the vanity. At first I thought it was something just to wipe clean but after several attempts to remove it, I realized that whatever they placed on the granite or used left a big stain and mark. I sent an email to the owner telling her about these two problems and have never heard back. The two women did an OK job - nothing spectacular. I have had much better cleaning services. NO, I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS SERVICE TO ANYONE. VERY DISAPPOINTED. read more

It took three days for them to complete the 4 hours of cleaning that I purchased. Day one, someone was sick. Day two the cleaning crew showed for 2 hours and did a pretty good job. I tried to explain I paid for a total 4 hours, but due to the language barrier they did not understand. Received my remaining two hours on day 3! A different crew showed. They cleaned fewer areas in 2 hours than the previous crew did in their two hours! Extremely frustrating since I had the appointment set 3 weeks in advance! read more

They cancelled on me through an E-MAIL the DAY before the scheduled cleaning. I decided to try again and scheduled another date, another three weeks later. For the SECOND time, they cancelled on me through an email the DAY before the scheduled cleaning. In both cases, I did not have enough time to book another company. Owner refuses to give me the hour of cleaning service owed to me, despite offering two fair solutions. I purchased a deal that consisted of two cleaners for three hours. I requested one cleaner for two hours or one third the cost of the deal I paid and they refused. First, I tried to book an Appt at 4pm but was told that the latest they book is 3pm because the workers do not work past 6pm. So I booked at 3pm and on the day of cleaning I get a phone call in the early afternoon asking if they can arrive an hour late. Since I had to leave at 7pm to pick up guests from the airport it still allowed for the three hours of cleaning I prepaid for so I said yes. At, 4pm no one arrived. At 4:10 I called the office and no answer so I left a message. Again at 4:30pm and then again at 4:45pm. At this point I am panicking because my home will not be ready for guests. (I had actually tried to book another open spot earlier in the week but they assured me this time slot was best.) Finally I get a call at 10 to 5pm saying they will be there shortly. When the girls arrived they explained that their previous appointment wasn't home so they waited for her for two hours to arrive, therefore pushing my appt 2 hours late. They said they were not given my number otherwise they would have called to let me know but that they did call the office to notify them and they thought it was communicated to me. Since I had to leave for the airport at 7pm they could only work two hours. When I called the office about this they said they would honor the hour of cleaning that they owed me but they never did despite multiple attempts to schedule the hour of cleaning with two workers that they owed me. read more
