I paid $90 for a gel manicure and pedicure and the nail polish on my hands started chipping two days later! While I was here getting my services done, someone came in with the same problem and the husband was yelling at the customer about how they have a 2 day policy and was telling her she should be more careful with what she does so her nails aren't chipping. #1, I don't care what your job is, your gel manicure shouldn't chip within even the first week of getting done, #2 what kind of customer service is this where you're yelling at your customers? I was not impressed with the service and how expensive it is for such shitty service. read more

We had a very short wait but I didn't feel like they paid attention to a larger callus on one of my feet. I had even pointed it out. They also forgot that one person in our group of three was getting a mani-pedi not just a pedi like we all asked for. This slowed things down as we all finished at very different times. Got to location about 1040 and left at 128. Asked for gel mani/pedi. They gave me a lady who didn't speak much English, who couldn't do gel, couldn't do a design, couldn't do much of anything and then told me after I questioned her skills that she couldn't do all of these things. She giggled and told me not to worry at anything I questioned but too late, I was worried. In the end and after being there for almost 3 hours, having one lady try a a design and fail, and having another lady fix my gel, I paid and left. The owner, I presume, Male, asked me did I want to leave a tip. The nerve! I've never had someone BOLDLY ask/insinuate that you leave a tip. Especially, after the service I received today. The gentleman owner that did my manicure and pedicure was very nice and apologetic for it being so busy on mother's day... they didn't have the color feel I was looming for so I picked from what they had and matching color for my toes... My daughter had a manicure as well.. the owner wife was very ride to my daughter and hurried her manicure as she was bouncing between her and another customer... when she would go back to my daughter who was sitting very still and did everything she was told, she would get after her and say "any you mess mail up"? She nearly had my daughter in tears... My daughter had little mail beds and her nails were almost wider than her fingers... My nails are crooked and bumpy and the polish on my toes have nearly all flaked off.... very disappointed.. Won't go back.... There's menu more to choose from...... read more

I have been coming to this place to get my nails done for about 7 years. I went in to day to get my pedi and Mani. I got the worse service ever!!! The lady put aan acrilic on my toe which she made it so small it looked funny. I told her that it didn't match and to rebuild it and match it with the other toe. Hi she said it wouldn't work. How is that possible when I the past you all have done a great job. I felt so disoppointed. Then I went to pay and it totalled to 93.00 for goth my daughter and I. We got the ped\mani combo.. they're 32.00 each. also we got regular polish not gel but yet we were charged gel price. I'm mad for the service s we received there. I will never go back! I went in to do my nails with my sister and made a appointment at 2:00pm. We sat in the water for a good 30 minutes. What is the point of making an appointment. Once some one came to do our pedi, the tech Tony rushed my pedi so I don't feel it was worth the wait or money. Then we had to wait another 20 minutes for someone to finally work on my gel manicure. The next day I woke up and all my gel polish was chipped and falling off. How disappointing because you pay so much money for your nails to look awful. I called and spoke to the owner. I didn't enjoy our conversation because he was upset and rude. He said I could come in to get them redone. I felt so uncomfortable after our conversation so I didn't even bother. I don't recommend this place if they are going to rush your pedi and do a horrible job on a gel manicure. They have been doing this a while so you would think the manicure would be done correctly the first time and shouldn't have to come in twice. So I am definitely going somewhere else. I actually came to this salon just because it was the first salon I came to in the Buckeye area while on vacation. I didn't have an appointment and they took me right away. She really took her time and wasn't rushed like a lot of places. Everyone was very friendly. I got the salt scrub which is was really relaxing and not rushed at all. The whole pedicure took about 1 hour. Next time I am in AZ I will be back. Its been 2 weeks and my pedicure still looks great! read more

Horrible place. They rush to do your nails. I usually go to a place in Goodyear, but I was being to lazy and didn't want to drive to it. My nails look horrible. I had to come back in because you could still see my old paint on my nails. My nails have bubbles all over. The gel paint is already chipping. Next time I won't be so lazy and I will stay where I know they are the best. read more

My sister and I have been here a few times, and the staff tries to accommodate every customer even though the wait is 30-45 minutes. The staff do very good jobs with all of the services that I have done there. I recommend for anyone in the Buckeye area. read more

This place is the best nail salon I have ever gone to. I have been getting my nails done here for a few years now. Kathy &, her husband are so nice and they both do excellent jobs. I wear my acrylics for about 3 months before they start to lift or anything. It's awesome! Clearly they use good quality product, because everywhere else I have gone in the Buckeye, Avondale, & Goodyear area NEVER last more than 3 weeks before they are lifting and starting to look dull. Went in and told them I wanted the overlay on my natural nails removed and new overlay put on. I told her i wanted to keep the length of my nails. Everywhere else I go they take the time to soak my nails. The girl used a tip to lift the acrylic off my nails and while doing so ripped all my natural nails right along with it. She knew I was upset and said she could "build it" she ended up cutting all my nails down to my finger tips and doing dip which I didn't ask for because it was "better" and didn't even ask if the colors she picked was what i wanted. She started doing it and then asked. She was very sloppy while doing my nails and kept telling me she would fix it. I walked out after paying $90 with my nails different sizes and shapes and covered in dried up product. At the same time she was doing my nails I was getting a pedicure. I was so distracted by my horrible nails that I didn't pay attention to the pedicure. I also left with uneven toe nails and the color was a completely different color than the one I picked and again product left on my skin. Needless to say I will not be going back there! If I'm going to spend almost $100 every time I go to a nail salon I expect to get exactly what I'm asking for. If I could give it a 0 star I would. read more

I am so upset. First I call to see what it would cost to do fills and gel polish. OK $32 Then I went to ask if appointment was necessary he hung up on me. I should have known then but I went anyway. First I sign in and this man tells me to select my color while he is doing someone else. Then another woman walks in and she is sent to another table. WTF!! He comes back to me and tells me it will be about 15 mins. Oh whatever. I was mad and really thought about leaving but nooooo. I sit down next to him with another girl. He then goes on about gel being better and stronger. Whatever. The girl starts filing my nails down to remove the old fill to replace with gel. The same man finishes with his lady and insists I move over to him because she was slow. He is rude and does not have a problem scolding customers. He scolded me for moving and just about everything I said. He is loud so anybody around could hear him. He was snapping at another lady and I felt bad for her. He really has no problem embarrassing you in front of all who are there. Now in my mind I thought I will just contact the owner over his really bad behavior and come to find out he IS the manager and owner. My nails came out too short which makes them look bad. The staff are rude, they take appointments and then do not honor them and one waits for a half hour or more, the equipment Is worn out and non-functional, they move you from person to person and speed up the treatment to try to get to more customers, they do not speak English, and the place is very noisy with kids. I would leave negative stars if possible. Today my best friend came in for a pedicure, this would be her fourth visit. What she said transpired has my heart broken and my head ANGRY. You see, she has a skin condition called psoriasis. She's not contagious, you can't catch it, it won't make you itch or break out. And the technician she has always had an understanding of this and it's never been an issue. Bonnie has always wanted people to be at ease, something she isn't required to explain. However today they got her set up with her feet soaking when the owner came over and informed her that they would do her pedicure this time but that she was not to return after today's visit. THE OWNER! I've never seen such an act of ignorance in my life. Let me ask you this? If a client comes in with something contagious they aren't obligated to inform you. You're none the wiser. One nick of a toe or finger and you could be infected. You would never know who you contracted it from. So someone with something that carries no risk factor for you isn't welcome in your establishment? Your ignorance is on an epic level and you should be ashamed of yourself. My two daughters and I have been coming here bi - weekly for mani - Pedi ' s for over a year. When ownership changed a few months ago, we continued to go there, although service is not as good. We noticed all the old techs left within a couple of weeks and the new techs are simply okay. After today, I will not go back there ever! They have a male tech ( Not Kevin, but the other guy) he was so rude, disrespectful and wrong! He ordered me around and when I told Vicki, the manager, he got extremely angry and defensive and began yelling at me and then proceeded to try and get in my face and Kevin had to hold him back and push him outside. The work they do is okay, not great, but the service has gone down the drain with the new ownership. It's a shame. I tried Pretty Nails for the second and LAST time. I signed in for a fill in and pedicure. I was quickly seated in a pedicure chair where I waited 20 minutes while I saw someone who came in after me get seated and her pedicure began. Me, I am still waiting. So finally my pedicure gets completed and I am set to dry. Now I am waiting for my fill in, 15 minutes have not gone by and then I was asked if I could leave and come back some other time because they just had a large group of people who had an appointment and they showed up 30 minutes late, so now there was no one to do my fill in. I had now been in the salon for 90 minutes!!! Needless to say, I left and got my fill in done at another local salon and I will not be going to Pretty Nails again. read more

Walked in for a pedicure with my husband on a busy afternoon. They accommodated us immediately & had us choose a pedicure (we both got the deluxe). They use the plastic tub inserts for sanitation which I appreciated! The deluxe included a 10 minute massage. The only reason I gave 4 stars was because the massage was more like 10 minutes of rubbing lotion into my my legs and feet. The woman who massaged my husband looked like she gave him more of a massage. Polish looked great! read more

I went in for a mani pedi had my pedicure was soaking the gel off my nails and the lady working in the station next to me knocked a bottle of polish off the table which splattered polish and glass all over I had polish splatter on my feet ankles and my pants they had me get up to move to another station and I discovered I had a piece of glass on the bottom of my left foot then discovered I had a piece on top of my left foot I asked them to take the foil off my nails I didn't want my nails done at this point the lady took the gel off and I gave her a tip for my pedi and asked if I was being charged for the pedi she calls Tom over then tells me no charge....not 1 person apologized to me and I said that to Tom on my out and he went off on me! Said how unappreciative I was I could not beleive after getting polish on my pants and glass in my foot I was supposed to be appreciative that I didn't have to pay for my pedicure unreal I will make sure every person I know never goes there BEWARE read more

I have been coming here for over 4 years. Today makes me question if I will come back. First, when I walked in no one greeted me as I signed my name and my service. After about 3 minutes, the older gentleman asked me what I would like. I stated "fill in and polish change". He said go to chair 5, okay I sit there wait another 5 minutes for a tech to sit down. She begins working on my nails like it's a chore for her. No conversation just annoyed. She proceeds to tell me that I need a new set. I tell her that's funny because I just got one her a month ago. Hahah that tells you the crappy products they use. After my full is complete she gets up and walks away. She says nothing!!! Just walks away. I look around as another customer sitting in the pedicure chair is like " what's going on" . I tell her, "I have no clue". She comes back a few minutes later like "what" excuse me I am a paying customer. I wanted a fill AND A POLISH CHANGE. She says "oh they don't tell me anything". At the end I pay with the older gentlemen that sits at the first chair by the entrance. He takes my card. I give him the cash tip to give to the tech whom she did not deserve but I did any way. He grabs the money off the counter and walks away. When I tell you I will never come back here and I will announce to by Buckeye Fashion Blog to never come here!!! This was ridiculous! Now I see why everyone drives to the "NailRoom" they maybe more expensive but the customer service is awesome. I also noticed the owners were not in today. Went here today for my sisters birthday and not only did they take 30 minutes to start they made her move seats because some other girl had to finish her nails . After the made her move the whole time the lady kept getting up and made you wait 5 minutes for her to come back . Also she cut are cuticles several times with the drill . Now that there done my white tips are all different sizes , my tip isn't flat , and hers has a hair in it . Oh and also the powder gel was dried up under the nail on my skin and I had to pick it off . Not pleased at all and not worth 80 dollars. read more

I was there with my granddaughter last week and very disappointed with their service. I live in Atlanta and the service at home is far more superior and less expensive then I received. Nail polish on my granddaughters was not smooth. They also use power of suggestion to add additional services and then it puts me on the spot when I turn them down. Tried this nail salon for the first time today. I've been to this location with the previous owners and NEVER had a problem. The males voice at the first table is very loud, unwelcoming and lacks communication skills for being a business man. He told me three times to pick out a polish and I told him three times... I already picked one out. Turns out he was not happy with me selecting a regular polish. He wanted me to choose a gel polish (more $). A female with poor English began to say the words "Gel".. I said no. She began to remove my polish on one finger then told me using her fingers the fill would not be $17.00 for me it would be $25.00. Kindly with their price list in hand, I stated that I no longer wanted their services. As I began to walk out all employees started speaking loudly in their primary language and laughing in my direction. All because I didn't want gel! Never again will I step foot in this place. I cannot believe the pressure to spend more and the immaturity that was displayed. read more
