I saw this place on yelp, and being that I love sweets I knew I had to try it out. stopped by and got a few Macaroons, Pistachio, Chocolate Carmel, and Chocolate strawberry. It's a pretty small store but they have a lot of choices, it was my first time stopping in and they were offering samples which definitely help with my choices of Macaroons. Saw this place while shopping at the Palladio so thought I drop by. They had so many delicious goodies to choose from. The cakes looks delicious as well. It's on my list to try it out and order for a future special occasion. I ended up getting a dozen of macrons , it was 6 for $10 or a dozen for $20. The macrons were delicious except for the chocolate ganache, it was a little hard , the inside tasted a bit dry and did not taste fresh. I was pretty disappointed which minus the 1 Star. The other macrons I got was delicious , cookies and creme, birthday cake (sprinkle) , pistachio & toasted coconut. Those were all delicious and was soft at each bite. Our wedding venue had a contract with this bakery. We were able to get four cupcakes for our cake testing. We ended up getting lemon cake with raspberry filling and confetti cake with strawberry filling. The wedding cake flavors actually tasted better than what we got in the cupcakes. However, our wedding cake was very dry. The flavors were strong enough to make the cake decent, though. I also had dyed wooden flowers and a cake topper that I brought in for cake decor. I put my complete faith in the bakery to put everything together and it turned out beautiful. Definitely better than I expected. I'm hoping I was just the only unlucky soul to get a dry cake because otherwise the cake was beautiful and flavors were great. read more

The ambience of the place isn't much, with only a few chairs and two tables to sit at. It's very industrial feeling and small, so I recommend taking your order to go. The service is pretty underwhelming and I felt like the girl taking our order wasn't happy to be there, or clarify the somewhat confusing boba drink menu. The drinks are quite good though, as I've been there twice and really enjoyed what I got. My husband and I recently moved to this area. It was my husbands 49th birthday and we were also launching our catering business out here as well with a big party. We ordered a half sheet cake and requested they put our company logo on the cake. They quoted us a price of $238, which I thought was high for a half sheet with just a simple logo. They requested a down payment. When we went down there to make the down payment, I spoke to the young lady and asked if it was going to be a simple scan print on the cake or hand created. She assured us that the cake would be hand created, that all their cakes are hand made, not prints. Which then justified the high price in my opinion. Because I can go to Safeway and get a half sheet with a scan for $50. When my son went to pick up the cake on the day of our party, there was a big crack in it, which he took a picture of on their counter before he left and text it my husband. He asked my husband if he knew about the crack. My husband was busy cooking for the party and did not get back to him right away so my son left with the cake. When he got home, we seen the large crack and that the logo was not hand written/created but rather a simple edible scan print. We were completely horrified and upset. My husband emailed the owner Ahad Syed to complain and ask for a refund. He wrote back a very unprofessional email asking my husband why we did not say anything at the time of picking up the cake and the name of his employee who told us that the cake would be hand created. As if we know all his employee's names and as if we were lying. My husband wrote him another email in which he has not responded, nor attempted to give us any kind of refund. The gianduja cake slice was divine (not sure if that is what they call it, but that's what it is called at Ginger Elizabeth), and now I don't have to drive into Sac if I want some! Two days before the party the Etsy seller contacted me to say she had mixed up her shipping labels and my order had gone to someone else. She would not be able to remake and send in time. This shop is absolutely adorable. First of all they have everything in the window that just makes you want to go in and check it out. Who doesn't love a little sweet bite to get you through the day. I used them for a custom cake design and it was beyond amazing. Their cake designer was seriously outstanding. Great little shoppe for desserts/ sweets. They seem to offer a little something to please everyone. One hot Sunday we stumbled across one of their signs in the Palladio shopping center. The staff was extremely welcoming. They were all running around working on things when we walked in, but were quick to acknowledge us and start taking our order. The menu is a bit unorganized, but if you just scan the facility you'll see drink menus and definitely find something that works for you. Prices are on the higher side, but I think it's common for the area. Their drinks are a bit sweet (no complaints here, that's just how we prefer them), but if you prefer less sweet you may need to ask. We tried a confetti cupcake as well, it had amazing texture, we can't wait to try more desserts here next time we're in town! read more

My family and I are from Seattle Washington. I have read the raving reviews of "Pretty Sweet" and was excited to see what this place had to offer. I was rewarded with one disappointment after another. The food was way too sweet and the drinks had no flavor. The only flavor in all four of our drinks ( 4 different flavored drinks) taste like sugar and water. Perhaps I'm too picky or maybe I feel people should stop settling for mediocre. Save your money, You'll find better food in the McDonalds trash bin. What made this the worse place to visit in California was the lack of customer service. We ordered $65 worth of food and I couldn't even get a napkin. I had to use the toilet paper from their bathroom to wipe the sugar water dripping from the side of the cup. Would not recommend this place to my most hated enemy. read more

Super cute place! I went one morning a few weeks ago and picked out six cupcakes for a small birthday celebration. The worker behind the counter was so sweet and told me all about the new cupcake and macaroon flavors they are testing out for 2022. I ended up getting two red velvet cupcakes, two vanilla confetti, one chocolate, and one matcha strawberry (their new flavor for January).
