I later purchased 2 new sergers from them as well. They offer a free owners class after you purchase a machine to help you learn the ins/outs. They also offer classes where you will actually make various things in a group setting. And they have trunk shows sometimes too where they demonstrate various products they sell which I really enjoy for inspiration as well.

Many of the images are modular and allow for tons of different combinations (i.e. hats for various animals/people, etc.) In addition, Kim herself is a significant figure in the rubber stamping community, having worked with various magazines and high-profile design teams. I've purchased both stamps and steel dies from Paper Smooches. Each of my orders have arrived very quickly and the products are all top-notch. Customer service if phenomenal when you have a need or a question. I've also worked with a retailer that carries PS products, and this retailer has had nothing but glowing reviews for the service she received. Even when she had needs at the very last minute, Paper Smooches came to the rescue. PS has a wonderful design team, so if you need ideas for how you use any of the products there are numerous ideas for each one available with the click of a mouse. After being fully paid in November, the remaining 10% of the project has still not been completed months later. I have called, texted, and tried reaching out multiple times with very limited response or communication. At one point, Rick told me they had a bigger project that took priority and that my job had been pushed to the back of the line. Unfortunately, that still doesn't excuse the complete lack of follow-through or communication. What started as a good working relationship turned sour very quickly. I am beyond frustrated with Rick's lack of professionalism and communication regarding finishing this project. I finally informed him that I will be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau because I've run out of options trying to get this resolved. My advice: be very cautious about making final payment until every part of the project is fully completed.

I had not great experiences at the Phoenix sewing multi-brand store (not Mulqueen or Bernina). I had said I wanted to stay under $1k and had received the most appalled reaction and customer service. Contrast to Mulqueen. Walk in, all the machines are on & ready to play with. I had called to check availability of a few models and chose this location over tempe based on machines on the floor. I brought scraps with me & set to testing but was quickly confused by some of the buttons. A woman appeared right about that time, sat down next to me and walked me through it. Keep in mind this was a $500 machine not $3k or something. She even suggested a less expensive version next to it often used in their classes (Janome) ultimately decided this was too basic & I missed computerized so she walked me to the Juki I requested next & I quickly set to work testing it. This particular model (hzl f600) was over m y budget but I knew the basic functionality was similar to the ones I was considering. Absolutely loved it! Denim, slippery rayon, no issues. She said you know we might have this used. She walked me to the oasis of used/refurb machines. They had every machine I was considering-available used/refurb and under $1k!! I ultimately got the f600 used -could not be happier-and saved enough to buy way more fabric than I need. My only complaint is we need a location in Phoenix or Scottsdale!!!! The gentleman in the refurb area was also super helpful answering questions the woman couldn't (she had long gray hair but didn't catch a name). Well worth the 35 minute drive & seriously only place I will go for machines.

So a classic bait and switch! Do not go there for repairs unless you your fine with a 179$ minimum cost!
