I contacted this company via Yelp messaging around 9pm at night. Was contacted and had appointment next day between 9 and 11 am. I requested a text or call 30 minutes before arrival time and was told no problem. I recieved a text 30 minutes prior as promised and Josh arrived shortly after 9. I explained the toilet had been leaking from the base when flushed. I already had another company out a few days ago. They said it was a bad wax ring, installed a new one collected $255 from me and then said I needed a new flange for an additional $700. I was told not to use the toilet as it was still leaking at the base. Needless to say I was not happy so I called Pride due to the great reviews. Josh flushed my toilet multiple times and shocker, no leak. He was courteous, didn't try to sell me on unnecessary services, and seemed knowledgeable. What a great company! We called because our upstairs shower was not getting hot water and had really low pressure, even though we had a new tankless water heater and plumbing. They diagnosed the issue quickly (the showerhead) and replaced the showerhead with no charge. They were on time, friendly, knowledgeable plumbers. Back in late-March we were having a drainage problem with our laundry room plumbing. We have previously used another local outfit but they were proving to be somewhat unreliable. Had an issue with the gas company about a houseline and they shut it off for a dumb reason. Called these guys and they send some one out that same day. My galvanized pipes were dripping close to my outside wall in front of my house and corrosion prevented my turning off the drips. Planned to call 3 plumbers and choose one. However the week before plumber number one never made it for my requested 2pm appointment until 6pm-when he finally was available. The second plumber was to come the next week. On the scheduled day a phone call and minutes later Bryan arrived. I requested the pipe and faucet to be replaced. And I asked him to go deep to replace the pipe after we discussed the fees. After starting the project, my pipe had broken off with minimal manipulation. I had suspected it could be very expensive but the estimate was reasonable so my husband and I agreed to replacement of my very old and leaking galvanized pipes. Bryan placed a temporary PVC flexible pipe and scheduled complete replacement for two days later. Possibly needed to remove concrete across driveway. However the completed job was less than the estimate and no concrete was removed. Bryan with Danny and Zion did a great job. From now on Pride Plumbing Services is our go to plumber. read more
