So a flat on a motorcycle is scary business, especially after 4 rainy days the roads are still drying up. My house is hard to get to so I always tell people to call ahead. This place is as shady as the bottom level of society. Youngsters work at the yard with rude attitude. Driving least expensive AMG and spitting everywhere. Besides cash only no check no card accept. Print out invoice probably no book records. Tow 3 cars in the same parking lot in one morning exclude mine. Just too crazy. One of the victim try to call the cop but no help. Please have a look at the photos attached. It has day and time. We even beg and they gave us a few dollars discount. They round it up. Seem like they just edit the invoice what-so-ever. I feel like being robbed in day light. Will seek further legal action and probably report IRS to make sure they have these transaction clocks in. Will definitely call the city to verify these items. If the owner does not acknowledge this, there come your guys. I'm an used car auto dealer and truck hauling. I've dealt with many of parking management and tow companies. But this time the fee was too unreasonable compare to the area. It's even more expensive then SF Tow-yard which is the current highest fee in the States. Knowing this, I called Liberty Mutual and they got back to me right away letting me know that the soonest they could get someone out was 60-90 minutes. Lo and behold, this company NEVER contacted me and so I waited 1.5 hours (2am) and they said "Oh, your driver will be there in 20 minutes. I'll have him call you" I waited until 2:45am - still NO sign. Call back in, the guy tells me that "Oh, he's just coming from Whittier, he's on his way now." I'm livid but I still nicely let him know it's been almost 3 hours so I'd just like a refund and change companies. As rude as possible he goes and says "You haven't paid us anything - you paid your insurance." - literally not caring AT ALL and out to get your money. They obviously shouldn't be contracted with anyone. At this point I called back to my insurance, and still being polite, I ask them to switch my tow truck company and they literally drove from Riverside on the 91 and got to me in 45 minutes...in TRAFFIC hours. And guess who still decides to show up? Pride towing and their driver says that he couldn't even take my car anyway and that he's been driving for FOURTEEN HOURS. The driver is on probation for STEALING CARS and has an ankle bracelet to monitor his alcohol levels. This company is corrupt af! The tow guy came up, NOBODY called and he grabbed my keys and loaded my car on tow truck. I was so in shock I did not question it. I thought it was my insurance tow Then the tow truck got a ticket from cops because their tags were expired. The tow truck guy told me he was going to tow me to my house but he ended up taking me to a towing yard, where he proceeded to lock up my car and blocked the gate with his tow truck. It all felt shady. I asked to use an outlet to call my mom because I was stranded there and I went through their junky office and it seemed as though they had an entire setup. They had 3 people looking for heavy traffic areas and accidents and then they dispatch their tow guy over. When I tried to leave and get my car they told me I couldn't. They told me to call the insurance company. Then I panicked and said I want my car now. But they told me I had to pay $945 in fees I told them I would like to see what they were charging me for and the guy told me he wasn't going to do that until I paid. Customer service is severely lacking. I set-up a scheduled tow through my insurance company and they assigned it to Pride. I was told to call one-hour prior to my desired pick-up time, which I did. I was told it would be a one-hour wait. Over two hours later, still no tow truck. Luckily I wasn't waiting roadside in the dark or rain/cold. No calls/texts after the initial one from my insurance company. Never got updates from Pride. I had to call twice and both times was given a delayed arrival time and both times they didn't make it. Once the driver arrived and my vehicle was actually loaded, the drive to the shop and offloading was fine. I wouldn't use Pride again and I definitely would not recommend them to a friend, especially in an emergency. read more

My truck needed a tow to the mechanic and I contacted my insurance because I get free towing up to 25 miles, they requested a tow for me but didn't tell them my vehicle was in a garage so when the tow first arrived it was the wrong type of truck being that it couldn't get into the garage. I was so frustrated , tired and hungry which is not a good mix. When Brian arrived in the correct truck to tow my vehicle he called me upon arrival, he assured me that he would take good care of my vehicle, he apologized (even though it was in no way his fault) for what happen and quickly started prepping my vehicle for the tow. I called StateFarm for roadside assistance and they outsourced me to this company. The estimated arrival was 60 minutes. StateFarm sent me a link to see if they were on their way, but lo and behold 30 minutes later, there's no update, so I texted to cancel at that point after seeing all the reviews. Even at the one hour mark, there's no update on that tracker as seen on the image. I called StateFarm to cancel it since I didn't get a confirmation or anything from the text to cancel and StateFarm notified me they did. I get a call from someone from the towing company and they asked if I needed a jumpstart, I responded back saying I called my insurance to cancel like 30 mins ago and the guy mutters "no way..". I guess their dispatcher didn't even call their own employee that a client cancelled. If you're actually coming, you should notify the person via text or call. From what it looked like on my end, nobody was on their way when I checked at the half hour mark. And for the respect of your employees, you should tell them if there's been a change or cancellation. read more

Quoted 1 hour to arrival. Actually took 2 hours. Phone guy refused to answer questions just kept saying it was 5 minutes out. That's all they say even when it's been 30 minutes more. Bunch of liars. Call elsewhere. DO NOT USE. Ok to add to this story, I called again after an additional 25 minutes, the operator said 5 minutes more. After another 15 minutes driver showed up. Apologized for being late and lied about the direction he came from. Then didn't know how to lower the tire from under the SUV. 2 starts to google "Acura QX80 Lower spare tire" complains that it's not coming up, to which my 11 year old son says,"try Infiniti QX80" LOL!! I was cracking up. Two YouTube videos later he figured it out with some help from me. Then proceeds to jack up the car from the passenger side. I then point out the very obvious flat is on the driver side. LOL. Seriously, had I know it was going to take this long I could have done it myself and should have. Anyhow, as he is releasing the jack it kicks up and dings my car door. To which he complains about me making a big deal about it and that he's doing me a favor changing my tire? If you see them call the cops! They keep towing Illegally ! and claim you are not allowed to see / get a copy of who requested for you to get towed. My family has been towed twice , and their as well neighbors. They claim it's this Global security that is requesting it , but did not let me take a picture or get a copy. They also tried to tow one of their other cars claiming it was to close to the fire hydrant but we went out in time to catch them . The car was clearly parked far enough(plus they don't have the right to do that only cops/parking enforcement) When they were told to hold on so I can call the cops to see if it was true they drove off. I tried to take a picture of the license plate , and to my surprise they didn't have one. The driver asks for the keys from my wife and starts the car and proceeds to tell her to just drive it to the mechanic! Honest truth do not see how or why this place has such low rating. My car interior caught on fire yesterday and gotten so bad that it was deemed inoperable. So they set me up with Pride Towing and they came out first thing in the morning. My drivers name was Justin and man if I can give him 5 stars I would. Came and was real professional and made sure the car went on the flatbed no problem. I asked I can hitch a ride with him to the body shop and he didn't hesitate and said yes. I locked my key in my car. It was about 5:40 PM when I submitted the application through my car manufacturer's website to get roadside assistance. I received a text from Pride Towing and Recovery stating they would be on site in 60 minutes or less. I was checking the status frequently and at 6:30 PM the status was changed to "service completed". I was still waiting so I called Pride directly to say I hadn't seen their car yet. The man on the phone said another 15 minutes. He didn't seem like he checked anything to confirm this, just wanted to assuage my worry. 20 minutes later my car manufacturer called asking if the service was completed. I said no, and they called Pride. The manufacturer put me on hold, when they came back, they said it would be another 20 minutes. I told them to cancel Pride's car and that I could get someone here with the second key before Pride would arrive. It was turning to evening, I was getting cold. My friend arrived at 20 minutes later at the same time as Pride's car (apparently the driver didn't get the message). This is now 30 minutes after the promised arrival. I walk up to the guy in the Pride vehicle and told him that Pride did not tell me they would be 30 minutes late. He very insincerely kept saying "lots of vehicles on the road bud, just call us". I told him I did and he started leaving while we were talking I was very frustrated that they kept me waiting without updating me and the driver's rudeness. read more

Horrible service. I called at 320 for a truck. They said it would be an hour. It arrived at 430 only to have the tow truck not work. They tried to get their truck working for 20 minutes. They finally gave up and ordered me a second one. While waiting a truck from their facility showed up to help another customer. I was under the impression this truck was towing me only to find out it wasnt. It took them an additional half hour to send another one. I have now been waiting for 2 hours for a god damn truck. This is garbage. 1 star given only because it wouldn't let me leave zero. update: they cancelled my 3rd tow truck without telling me.... thankfully i got my car started and moved to the closest dealer. The manager had the guts to call and say they were waiting for me. GARBAGE! The people working here threaten their clients, charge different prices, scratch your cars due to not using the proper vehicle for towing, and an F rating with the Better Business Bureau. The photos attached are the invoices all with different charges when we all got towed at the same place same time and were picking up vehicles the next day. They charged all of us for 2 days when our cars were only in their lot for no less than 24 hours. When paying they called me broke because I said 535$ was a lot for less than 24 hours. My vehicle has major scratch damages on the side skirt and my check engine light turned on after towing. This place illegally has spotters and they towed 6+ cars all in one hour in the same lot. We are filing a group claim. They are open towing cars 24 hours but the place closes at 5 PM. These guys threaten to beat us up and charge us more for complaining. When I spoke to the manager about paying for damages he told me to fuck off you pay it yourself broke ass. read more

Right now I am quite disappointed with this towing company, dealing with damage to my son's car. This company associated with Nationwide, the claims dept was told as a result of the hit and run last week to my son's car, the drivers door would not close. The driver arrives, without anything to close the door to transport the car to the collision shop, so I give him my bungee cord to somehow keep the door from being ripped off the car during transport. DO NOT MAKE BUSINESS WITH THESE RUDE, ILL MANNERED MEN. 1/4/19 FYI THE TELEPHONE # ON HERE DOESN'T WORK AND NEITHER DO ANY OTHER #'S POSTED ONLINE. An older friend of ours needed to pick up her car from them, she was unable to fully cover the 420 fee(which we are not disputing, what's fair is fair). We wanted to help her pay for the fee with a card, but she and another lady with her, were very rudely told only the registered owner of the car could pay and that it had to be all cash. The other lady with our friend was also rudely kicked out of the property because she was told she had nothing to do with the car. They have no respect or common courtesy for people. We arrived to the location, waited a good amount of time for someone to come to their gate. No one came and because it was open we went in to help our friend(who was with us the whole time) to get her car back, with the cash. When we went inside the men were quite obviously able to see us but for whatever reason didn't come to open the gate, immediately they started shouting at us that we couldn't be on their private property and to get out. A young man came over and was right off the bat aggressively rude. After they kicked us out for wanting to assist our friend in the payment of the towing fee, they blatantly said they can easily kick out the police if they came as well. When we asked for their policy on why we could not help her pay for the fee with card the young man who came to us at first, stated that they do not have to show us their policy. We had already contacted the Anaheim and Fullerton PD and confirmed that we legally have the right to record our interaction with these people for our protection as they seemed very shady and as such I recorded this exchange with the young man. He became very aggressive and started to curse at us. We walked out to not further aggravate the situation while we waited for our friend and then another man came to us to see what the problem was. He pretended at first to care but then also displayed the same attitude as his fellow worker. When we asked to see their policy and towing rates he said "you see the window, that's your policy." Mind you this policy of theirs was more than 200 ft away from us so obviously, it can't be seen unless at a reasonable distance. When the second man finally explained their policy regarding use of credit cards it was understandable and had they had the decency and sense of a reputable business they could have calmy and politely explained that from the beginning. Instead they resorted to cussing us out and treating all involved terribly. There is a way to deal with people and unfortunately they have no idea what it is. Beware of their outrages fees. My son's car was parked in a shopping center while he ate. He came out to find out that his car had been towed because he was parked in front of the adjacent store. Mind you there was no sign specifying that that was for the other merchant parking only. The merchant said he did not call the tow truck. So why was he towed? When he finally figured out who had towed his car, to his surprise they wanted over $1000. When he finally asked for an itemized bill it came out to $830. They had the car for less than 24 hours and towed it less than 2 miles. When we called around to ask what other tow companies charge they all range between $250 to &350. Yet this tow company thinks it's OK to gouge college students and charge over $800. Very disappointed that they I think this is OK to do business this way. read more
