While their pricing was among the lower quotes we received, their after-sale service has been deplorable. Unfortunately, our experience has been that they simply do not stand behind their work. We had three legitimate issues with one of the systems they installed. Rather than taking responsibility and addressing them, the responses we received were essentially: 1) fix it ourselves, 2) live with the problem, or 3) pay them additional money to come out and investigate it. These were issues with a newly installed system--not an old unit we were asking them to troubleshoot. What was particularly disappointing was the way we were treated when calling the office. The service staff was extremely rude and dismissive, and we were told we would need to pay for service that we reasonably believed should have been covered as warranty-related work. When you're spending more than $40,000, the company you choose matters just as much after the installation as it does when they're trying to earn your business. In hindsight, I wish we had paid more and chosen a more reputable company that stands behind its installations and values its customers after the check has cleared. If you're considering Cool Breeze because their quote is competitive, I strongly recommend reading the other negative reviews before making your decision. Based on our experience, those customers are not making this up.

We contacted them and they were prompt to send a service tech out to look over the issue. After the assessment, replacing the shower body (valve and cartridge) was necessary. Plus having to cut into either the tile and/or the drywall to get to the pipes, would be an additional cost with their contractor between $200-400. Because we thought we could replace the shower/tub set fixtures and cartridge ourselves, we bought the entire kit at Home Depot for the fraction of the cost they wanted to charge us for the set. Picture Rocks told us they would start the repair that morning and would have to come back that following Monday to complete the repair. Their estimated price was $1650 without the contractor's price. However, they were giving us credit for the set we purchased but they couldn't warranty it only their labor which was understandable. I called a family member who is a licensed HVAC and Plumbing company owner in Phoenix. To make sure we were getting a fair cost, he told us they were charging us way too much to replace and install the entire shower body. His company charges for that type of installation up to $800 with no issues. He was taken back by the estimate and told us to find another company. Needless to say, we found a fair, licensed and knowledgeable Plumber here on Yelp. We waited on his estimate and to our surprise, his price was significantly lower and in the same range of what our family member stated. Minus the dry wall repair, which we can do ourselves due to being a small square cut out and the price was fair. Therefore, due diligence is necessary in getting a fair price, even on a holiday weekend (Easter). Don't go with the first recommendation, in a long run, this will save you money.
