Terrible fish sandwich. Greasy and nasty...the menu looks awesome with loads of delicious sounding options but they are prepared with the lowest quality ingredients. Service is apathetic at best. One good thing is the deli style italian sandwich my mum got looked good and she enjoyed it. read more

This was our 2nd visit here on 11/23 around 5:00PM and it was less than impressive in several ways. The parking lot was full and we parked over at the bank, no issues as it was good to see that the restaurant was fairly full. We got seated immediately and our server was somewhat inexperienced, no problem. She took our initial drink order and appetizer order. We selected the Mozzarella Cheese Wedges, we ordered these last time and they are really good. Our drinks, less than impressive, actually this shows the inexperience of the bartender. Ordered a Tito's Martini, it arrived after a short wait and it was less than half full and had a rose colored tint, why a tint color ? This remained an unknown. We flagged down our server and said this was unacceptable, she ordered a replacement and again after a short wait it arrived in a normal standard of volume, this was crystal clear, we never found out why the other was tinted. My Jim Beam and Coke was all ice, 3 sips and it was gone, really had not much of a bourbon taste, mostly coke. Ordered a water after that. Onto the the food ...... Our Chicken Finger with Fries were horrible, we ordered the six piece, got the four piece , the fries must have been made in bulk, cold and greasy. The chicken fingers also were cold, over done and like a brick. The sandwich was the When Pigs Fly, that was fine and packed with meat, the fries were horrible, cold and greasy. The positive was the manager came over and apologized and removed the Chicken Fingers and Martinis from our bill and stated he will talk to the bartender and kitchen staff. It's so important to retain customers by providing consistent food quality and not look for shortcuts in preparation and delivery, Serving staff should always be proactive to make sure what is ready to be delivered is appropriate. Based on our first visit when they opened to this visit, it seems it is sliding downhill. Would we visit again ? Doubtful ! read more

Heard about this place on the radio. Host said there would be a 15/20 minute wait, which was spot on. We were able to wait in the car because they have a phone text service. Great happy hour deals twice a day, which we unfortunately missed. Upbeat atmosphere in bar type setting. Good, friendly service. Everything we tried was tasty. Prices are very reasonable. Every time we come here I swear I won't be back and then it's an only option and then I remember why I don't come here. We were very busy and came in late , someone sat us wasn't sure they worked here and wasn't very enthusiastic. They had 2 other tables took more than 10 minutes to get someone to get our drink order. They were out of almost we wanted to order. Food took about 30 minutes and the wings were cold and dry. Fries were soggy. Chicken sandwich- chicken was cooked so hard I couldn't cut through it. Went there on a Wednesday night. Not busy at all. We ordered a burger, chicken sandwich, tender meal and spicy chicken sandwich. Spicy chicken and burger came out first. Regular chicken sandwich was wrong so that took 45 minutes to remake. Tenders were last to come out. Wrong dipping sauce. Waitress kept telling us the chicken sandwich was coming out of the fryer but still took 45 minutes to get to the table. Barely refills. Waitress did take chicken sandwich off the bill and we explained to a manager what was going on. They dropped the bill down but still doesn't explain why had to wait 45 minutes for a chicken sandwich plain that is deep fried. Servers are always friendly and efficient but the food is lacking. The soft pretzel has an off taste--not like sour dough or even sweet like most. The sandwich I had wasn't tasty either. We recently dined and watched the game here. We come regularly and never have any food issues. Our waitress was good, personal & friendly. We ordered two of the sirloin steak sandwiches. One as-is and mine is plain w/o cheese, coleslaw, fries, and sauces (lactose intolerance... would barf on provolone or any cheese). We, both were hungry... I ate about half of my sandwich then my stomach turned, and ran to the bathroom to vomit. We then had to leave our friends there. NO, we did not tell the waitress. My thought is the provolone was cooked with both sirloins..then the kitchen realized it should NOT be on both so one was removed. BUT think it was served anyway by removing the white melted cheese from the surface... it made me SICK! It has already been absorbed into the sirloin...NOT GOOD! read more

First experience at this location was phenomenal, food was outstanding, service (at the bar) was impeccable. If there was any nitpick it'd be I wish the beer selection was a bit more varied. But for a first day experience I'm blown away at how well everything came together. I tend to have mediocre experiences at places that are brand new, not here. First visit to Primanti Brothers and choose the Hanover location since it just opened and it is close to where I live. Very nice atmosphere and the staff was very accommodating from the hostess to the waitresses. I ordered the Loaded Cheesteak Bomb and my girlfriend got the Oven Baked Italian Crostini. Both came with french fries and was served by a person I believe was from the kitchen staff and not our waitress. My sandwich meat was so salty (and I am a saltaholic) that it was almost overwhelming. My girlfriend's bun (crostini) was hard as a rock but she said the meat inside was very good. My fries were very good but my girlfriend's fries were overdone to the point that they were totally brown shriveled small pieces of what used to be potatoes. I pointed out the difference of our plates of fries to the waitress and she agreed that they should have never come out of the kitchen and served to anyone. We didn't mention the other issues since we did not want to put all that on her. Our waitress did give us a card for a free appetizer on our next visit to make up for the fries as she could not take it off our bill. We will return because I realize they are still figuring things out being a new location and staff and it is nice atmosphere. The pizza looks really good and will most likely try that next time. We may find a good sandwich in the future as they looked good when coming out to other tables but we will give it time for them to get things finely tuned. read more

My first visit to this restaurant, I may go back but definitely know what not to order after my first experience. I have to say our server was fantastic. I was having some dental issues and she was happy to accommodate a few changes. Ordered hot wings, extra crispy, to share. There was so much breading I had to scrape it off with a knife to get to the chicken. Chicken was totally dry. I order extra crispy everywhere and never had dry chicken wings. I ordered a pastrami and cheese, cole slaw and fries oon the side. It came out with 2 humongous Texas toast size pieces of white bread. No option for rye bread and when I asked if they could atbleast grill it, I was informed only the Reuben is grilled. My bad for not confirming before ordering. What a waste of decent pastrami. One slice of bread was thicker than the pastrami and cheese filling. My friend ordered a chicken and spinach on a brioche roll which she said was excellent. That over sized bread might be great for people who do heavy labor and need something filling but it overwhelmed my filling and it wasn't even great tasting bread. Definitely not a place for the carb conscious! My fries were good and hot and the cole slaw was outstanding. I rarely eat cole slaw and was very impressed with how light it was and no mayo I could find. This would have been 4 stars if the wings weren't overly breaded or there were other bread choices. read more
