However, the food was just fair to subpar and way overpriced for its location. My steak cooked medium was tough. The sides were okay. I enjoyed my meal and was surprised that what could be called a "strip mall restaurant" is really Fine Dining. The ambiance is top notch with attention to gorgeous details like octopus napkin rings, and replacing our table light when it went out mid-meal. The service was impeccable. Our seasoned waiter gave us wonderful recommendations and added information about where the steaks are from and how the cod is prepared. There is a bit of showmanship when presenting the bread and playing the sticky toffee pudding, which I appreciated. I give it all an A+. The food gets a B or B+. My husband was unimpressed with the flavors of the bread (and it was cold in the middle), but I thought if my was a creative alternative to standard rolls. I got a salad of tomatoes, avocado, etc that is on the menu with crab, but offered by the waiter as a lighter option. It was nice. My filet was a little overcooked and salty, but delicious. The side dishes were standard comfort foods with the only one of three ate that I feel is worth mentioning being the creamed spinach and artichoke gratin. It was better than average. The sticky toffee pudding is a good gluten free option (not that am gluten free) but it is not as buttery as I'm used to. The stick of brown sugar ice cream on the side is fun but was frozen so hard it was difficult to eat. I will return again because of the good food, elegant ambiance, and especially the service: it is so nice to have an upholstered "seat" for my purse as soon as I come to the table, to not feel rushed, and to be treated like someone special during the entire meal. read more

The atmosphere and ambience was perfect. Quality of food was definitely five stars as well as the service. The one thing that was off putting was the comment from the server at the end of the night when he gave us our bill stating that the tip that was automatically included which was 22% ($66.50) was not going go straight to him but had to be split up amongst the staff. Almost felt like a guilt trip. So like any good person would do, we added more to the tip. Let's start with the ambiance. Surprisingly spacious with gorgeous modern decor. Large tables that allow each guest ample elbow room Comfy upholstered chairs. I appreciated the small table brought for me to set my purse on. The only drawback was the volume of the background music. It was loud to the point we had some difficulty hearing each other. The a/c was also on blast but our waitress quickly complied with our request and the a/c was turned down. The service was spectacular - friendly, attentive staff who promptly responded to each request and checked on us frequently - but didn't hover or rush us. Now for the food - the bread for the table was a savory pull apart served with smoked butter. Absolute delicious! The crab cakes are not to be missed. Succulent and flavorful and not mostly bread. My hubby and I split the ribeye. It was sliced, a perfect medium rare and very flavorful. We chose the 141 sauce as the accompaniment but truly enjoyed the steak sans sauce. The Mac and Cheese was rich and decadent, with just the right amount of a tangy white cheese sauce. The potato purée was creamy with an olive oil flourish. Delicious. We highly recommend this steakhouse! Don't let the fact that Prime 141 is tucked away in a quiet corner of a strip mall bother you - this place is a true gem!!! We shall return! read more

This new restaurant is a welcome high-end dining for off the strip Las Vegas. The food, decor/ambience and the service were great. They lost a star because the prices are ridiculously high for off the strip and the server wasn't forthcoming with the tip situation. The bill includes a mandatory service charge. His service was great so we didn't want to stiff him on the top so we asked if his too is included in the service charge. He wouldn't answer yea or no and just said that the service charge goes to all the workers. Making it sound like the service charge was for everybody else but tip was for him. We later found out he is included in the service charge. We ordered the A-5 Wagyu and the Brussels sprouts. Both were amazing. The bread and salad were also great. I got the denver cut mixed Wagyu which was just okay. The shrimp add-on was great and made the meal. The buttered toffee cake was great. I also ordered the sagittarius drink a which was delicious. Good news and bad news. Good news first, the food is 5 star. Bad news, they add a 22% charge onto a very expensive food/drink bill, and expect you to tip wait staff on top of that! The other problem is that the wait staff is uncomfortably overbearing. It felt like they needed to turn over our table. They were trying to take dishes away before we were finished, take our main order before we were served our first cocktails. It was way to many visits by staff to our table the entire time. Then, they want a full tip on top of the 22% added to the bill. Sadly, this will prevent me from returning. Sorry guys, but your food is already priced at the strip level. I'll say the food is really excellent and I wish I could come eat again with faith in their staff or management but they gave me $80 in counterfeit money after my boyfriend paid with $400 in $100 bills then when we didn't notice until a few days later that the 4 $20 bills they gave us as change were fake. We came back in to talk to the same manager who did a table touch while we were there but the manager said they couldn't do anything about it. Sucks paying $320 for a nice dinner that comes with an automatic 22% gratuity just to get $80 stolen from you!
