Service is polite and attentive and even though it was very busy tonight we did not have to wait too long for our order. Steak was exceptionally well prepared and taste is deserving of the Prime name! Best steak I had before this was Mortons and I do not miss Mortons after dining at Prime 239. For ambience, unless you get one of the more comfortable booths instead of the close side by side tables, the ambience is average but the food and service more than make up. read more

We really want to love this place since we are within 5 minutes from our winter home in Cape... the food is the reason I would give it 4.5 stars but the service is soooooooooo not up to par! From the time you walk in to the cold hostess to the bar staff with their arms crossed waiting for the rush of the evening.... we keep driving alllllllll the way to Capitol Grill for the fantastic service which is just dumb when I can save all that time staying in my neighborhood. I know as a business owner of a retail establishment the challenges of staff trust me. I just can not handle the attitude from your female wait staff. I can not fathom having that much staff on the payroll @ 530 in the bar as I sit with my wine empty for 10 minutes when there are 4 tables and more than ample employees. Please either recognize the issue @ hand and have some conversations or hire a wait staff trainer to come in and make the adjustments that are very necessary. read more

The food, drinks and wait staff were top notch! We ordered a steak and fish and they were both so delicious. The fish was one of the best meals I have ever eaten. The ding on this place was that the bar was so busy, even outside! They only had a couple of bartenders working and no wait staff so it took forever for service however, the bar staff was as attentive as they could be and even bought us a drink to make up for the wait. The cocktails were great and I was only disappointed they didn't have more people helping these guys out. There were 4 hostess which seemed like a waste because they were pretty snooty and dismissed everyone to the bar to wait... The only other complaint was the noise. It got so loud especially near the bar and in the section we sat in because of a loud party it was so unpleasant. Our waiter even apologized because he couldn't even hear to take our order. I hope the next time we go back they have done something to address the noise. It would help to not pack so many people into such a small space. read more

We went to this restaurant upon recommendation from a friend and online. It was our anniversary and we wanted something special. The food was good, the wine was good, the service was great, BUT, it's extremely noisy! The waitress said they lost insulation from the hurricane but the dining room is so bare except for tables (no tablecloths), it's kind of diner like. We came here last night, 2/26/25, for my Grandma's birthday. We happened upon this restaurant after a disaster at a neighboring restaurant. I assume he is the Manager, greeted two of the party with open arms, as they were being dropped off at the front entrance (they use canes), stated there was room for us, and stated he would set a nice place on the patio for us. The three remaining party parked and were escorted to the patio by the same gentleman. The staff were super friendly and attentive. The warm bread is amazing! I am a Vegetarian and there were friendly menu options, however, my only complaint is there is no non-meat pasta option. The food was excellent! Pricey though. My Grandma got a free creme brulee for her birthday and the waitress brought it out with a sparkler. Very great experience! read more

And we had to wait for 45 minutes for our table even though we had a reservation. It was plenty crowded though so I'm sure plenty of folks don't mind the wait or the noise. read more

So good we had to go back the next day! Staff both nights were super friendly, especially the hostess at the front door and our servers Christina and Devin! Food was delish! Steaks were juicy and flavorful, the lobster bisque was also yummy, and the crème brûlée was a good way to end the meal. Highly recommend the hollandaise sauce with the grilled asparagus. The dining room was fairly empty our first night and full the second night but we didn't have to wait for a table, even with a large party coming in at the same time we arrived. read more

My wife and I went to 239 prime on February 19th. It was our 55th wedding anniversary. We were going to lobster Lady and when we got there we decided to go to 239 prime. We didn't have a reservation so we sat outside which was great for us. The service was awesome. Margie, my wife ordered the 40 ounce Tomahawk steak and I ordered the 24 ounce Ribeye steak. The food was fantastic delicious. They gave us an anniversary dessert. The bread that was served before the meal is awesome. It started to rain and all the people came out to take everything off the table and brought it inside. The waiters were fantastic coming around to make sure we were good. An amazing establishment! First call spoke to Kelly who asked if we were celebrating anything and recommended seating. So pleasant on the phone and I was actually excited about going for our first dining experience. Greeted by Kelly, my husband and I were impressed by her kindness and bright personality. We arrived a little early and visually toured the area. Very impressed with the set up. When you walk in the front reception, to the right is all dining, to the left the options begin... an "isle" of romantic booths to the right, then a left to an open area that has a very posh bar on the right and, for those waiting for a table or just would like a cocktail, open seating on the left. But, not just any seating... very cool red couches, or spacious tables to hang out. I would never feel like I was waiting for a table, it's it's own experience. A must! There's more! While passing the "red room" and posh bar, the side door opened to a continuation of the bar, and an outdoor seating consisting of ivory couches and spacious tables. Cigar ashtrays are places between the ivory couches' coffee tables. There are a few beautiful wooden trellises and heaters to shade from the sun and keep you warm when the sun goes down. You can order from the full menu if you are seated at the inside and outside bar. The lounge tables and couches are just for, well, lounging! Waiting for a table, after dinner drink, cigar, conversation.... It's an amazing place. Andrew, who is one of the many, that keep the bar and lounge running smoothly, ensures you have everything you need, another outstanding personality... he treats everyone like royalty. We also met Payton, a Mixologist, ... their is a science to his drink... they are amazing! Let him know what you like and he will create a one-of-a-kind taste! We were seated and our server was Amelia who's service and knowledge of the menu was impressive. We were just amazed how smooth everyone operates and works as a team; while Amelia was talking with us, clearing a plate or glass from us, another would glide behind her and take the empties. We never felt interrupted in conversation with her. Since our first experience dining here, I've returned with my mother, third visit with my sister-in-law. Our meals have been outstanding! We've had the Wagyu steak, Duck, filet, salads, desserts, and the food has been mouth watering! On a Thursday, Saturday... doesn't matter, the Chefs' presentation of food and taste will keep you coming back to see what the Chef will have as a Special next visit. What an amazing, amazing, establishment! A MUST go-to in the Cape! It's our favorite place! Yes... even more than You-Know-Where . First visit tonight. Place hasn't been open too long. I was politely greeted when I arrived a couple minutes early for my reservation. I was informed I would get a text when my table was ready. Several others came in after me, were told they'd receive a text when their table was ready and then were promptly seated (maybe because I was only a party of 1). A few minutes later I received my text and was seated in a comfortable booth. I was promptly greeted by my server who immediately took my drink order. So far everything running smooth. I was watered and brought some bread with 2 flavors of butter. Roasted red pepper butter was delish. My Escargot Rockefeller arrived beautifully plated. The sauce was rich and creamy with excellent textures of the crostini, onions, bacon, and escargot. A tad salty for me but I don't use a lot of salt so very likely not for others. The server coordinated fantastically - never rushing me nor making a solo diner wait long periods between courses. My bone in filet with the brandy green peppercorn sauce (not a fan of that $8 - 2oz ramekin of meh) and a side of beautifully presented jalapeño creamed corn (absolutely delicious). The steak's presentation was a tad sloppy but otherwise it looked and smelled very good. I ordered it medium rare and for half the steak it was exceptionally prepared however the half near the bone was rare. Overall great texture and searing. Steak was seasoned very simply and had a great flavor all on its own. The jalapeño creamed corn was delightful. Rich and creamy with some wonderful heat and jalapeño flavor. The corn kernels weren't over cooked. All around wonderful festival of flavors. I will be back to try additional dishes for sure. I will say I was a bit surprised that they did not do utensil swaps between courses like I'd expect for an establishment of their price range. I kind of expected a warm moist washcloth and clean silverware for a nearly $140 for a dinner for one. We entered this restaurant for the first time and were greeted and seated. The first pleasure was our server, Jessica - cordial, helpful, and efficient. The menu was full of wonderful choices, but 3 of our 4 diners chose from the 4 specials that were offered. All of us have had the pleasure of eating at many fine restaurants over the years, but we would count this among the very best. Had a great birthday dinner here a week ago. Went to the bar while we waited for our table and the bartender was great asking what we liked and then making drink selections for us (he stopped by our table later to ask how they were which was nice). Our waiter Tim was attentive and took care of us when they inadvertently threw out a piece of my steak I wanted to take home and offered us complimentary desserts. While the price point was high, we felt that it was in line with other steak places we've been to. There are other dinner options that are in line price point with some of the other nicer restaurants in the area. We sat in one of the smaller booths in the middle of the room and were very comfortable and the noise level was fine (have heard others say the restaurant is noisy, but not where we sat). Wow what a wonderful dining experience we had tonight. We choose the onion soup, which was the best we have ever had. My husband had the ribeye medium rare / topped with lobster, and I had a petite filet medium rare/ topped with lobster, and we had the asparagus with hollandaise for the table. So, everybody shouted to make themselves heard - this included our waitress. When the food was brought out, she stood at one end of the table and SHOUTED Hey! That goes over here. Not really acceptable. High end steakhouse without table cloths? Hmmmmm. No salad fork!?!?! The website mentions a dress code. I spoke with the Manager who stated they do not enforce the dress code because "there are many of our customers who have a lot of money and do not adhere to the dress code". Hostess very rude, waiters timing completely off, you'll get your steak and 15 minutes later your cool temperature sides. The drink waiter took forever, they look away when you're raising your hand for attention. And let me say it's never packed house and it's just an over site. Definitely needs to train its staff to build a name to compete with so many other steakhouses. It's worth 45 minutes to go to Jimmy p's capitale grill, ocean prime just to name a few. When family visits from out of state I drive them to Naples. It's decent for people who don't know any better. But never again for the service and staff attitudes. It's not a free meal and they need training or hiring skilled people for it to become anything special. Never cut corners when you're trying to be an upscale steakhouse. It shows! read more

we chose this as the location to celebrate a milestone event/wedding anniversary only to be completely disappointed with the food. the service was excellent. my wife ordered a ribeye which was extremely dry and not juicy. the baked potatoes was okay I ordered the pork tomahawk and Brussels sprouts. there was a plop of apple sauce with julienne carrots sitting on the pork which was underseasoned. the Brussels sprouts taste burnt and acidic--which says a lot considering they were in a maple syrup and also tossed with bacon lacking taste. def should have read the reviews--numerous complaints about the brussel sprouts. needless to say, this special day will be a memory but not in a positive way. read more
