I was looking forward to eating here as it is a newer restaurant. The steaks are pricey, but full of flavor. When you order meat, it does not come with any sides. But the sides to order are big enough for two people to share. I ordered the Bolognese and it is the best one I've ever had. I will continue to come back again and again just to get the bolognese. It's to die to! The Cesar salad is extremely good!! I have tried a few of the sides and would say pass on the carrots, and the jalapeño creamed corn. I ordered the creamed corn and was not a huge fan because I was expecting a more creamy corn rather than mashed corn. When our plates were taken to the back, either the owner or the manager came over to our table and asked us why we hadn't eaten much of the side of corn. We explained and he gladly took it off without any questions. That was amazing service and it is another reason I will continue to return here for dinner. Dined at Prime239 last night with our visiting family and it was fantastic! It wasn't our first visit and I have to say it is always on par. We are never disappointed. Our server, Matthew, was AMAZING! So helpful with recommendations and the best one being the French Onion Soup. If you are a soup connoisseur, this one is off the hook! We also enjoyed the perfectly prepared Wagyu steak that melted in our mouth and I must also mention the Smoked Manhattan cocktail. It may not be on the menu but they will make you a perfect one. All so flavorful and delicious. If you are looking for a very nice atmosphere with great food, great cocktails and welcoming, friendly and cheerful service then visit this little gem. We visit Cape Coral for a week each year. We discovered Prime 239 last year and enjoyed it so much we had to go again this year. Although it's noisy (those of us with hearing aids had trouble hearing the conversation around the table at times), it kind of gives a nice energy to the room. Our server, Matthew was helpful giving us just the right amount of attention. With his suggestion, most of the table ordered a variety of steaks. The food was delicious. Our friends from Iowa grew up on beef and they're the ones who set the bar in our group. They had the Australian Wagyu steaks and said they were the best they had ever eaten. Good for a lunch-time deli - not so good for a higher-end steak place. It was a split experience for us - my wife's filet was just great. Went there last night. I had the 8oz filet and loaded mash and wife had the special wagu filet with Oscar and risotto. Hers was fantastic, mine was tough. The food was good but what I didn't like was how they handled a request to split a steak in the kitchen. My wife and I split a $125 A5 Wagu steak in the kitchen, I was told that there was a $6 charge to split it and I was fine with that. When the plate came to our table the steak hadn't been split and when I questioned the waiter he pointed out that there was a 2nd plate under the plate the wagu was placed on and said I could split it myself. Finally a fantastic steakhouse in Cape Coral! Perfect for celebrations or an intimate date night. We started with the French onion soup & tomato mozzarella salad, both were to die for but the French onion soup was truly exceptional. Main courses were the Wagyu Filet special & 12 oz. NY Strip - both were cooked to perfection, the sides were fantastic accompaniments to the steaks, and our beverages were always full. They have a fantastic selection of high end wines that compliment the dishes. Our server was fantastic. Attentive and never left a dirty dish on our plate. We finished our Mrs with a homemade, warm apple crisp. It truly was a 5-star meal all around. Reading through the other comments, it says the restaurant is loud.... I have mixed feelings about this place. Most entrees we ordered were good but nothing to rave about. The bone-in fillet was extremely disappointing. It was of uneven thickness (causing it to cook unevenly) and had a lot of grizzle. Drinks were also a hit or miss depending on who was making them. We started the night with Emily as our server. She was all over the place and definitely overwhelmed. In her defense, I think she typically tends the bar but was filling in as a server for the night. However, when we had to repeatedly ask her for an order of drinks after 30 minutes of placing the order, she gave us an attitude that it was not her fault that the bar was busy. She then told us she was going to comp the drink but didn't. Luckily, Ariana became our server halfway through dinner and she saved the night. She was an absolute delight! We LOVED this restaurant! Our family ate dinner there on our last vacation day in Cape Coral and we were glad we saved it until our last evening. We had the Filet Mignon and Lobster - cooked to perfection. Sides of mashed potatoes, creamed spinach and asparagus were delicious as well. The ambience was at level of the Cheesecake Factory at best. For a steakhouse they don't know how to cook them- or is that They don't understand what medium is? This will be similar to our google review- BOTTOM LINE UP FRONT-DETAILS to FOLLOW: Food; OUTSTANDING. OUR Server (Cristina); BETTER THAN OUTSTANDING! Atmosphere / noise - terrible. For $300+ dinner for 2...we expected more of a nice atmosphere. Instead we got "Waffle House". Went for our anniversary, told the front hostess as much, asked to be sat "quiet and out of the way". There was only ONE OTHER TABLE OCCUPIED in the restaurant. And they were being served by a VERY BOISTEROUS server. We will consider her the Waffle House waitress at the waffle house table. V E R Y boisterous, VERY Intruding. We were sat down, and 5 minutes later the SAME FRONT HOSTESS sat a table of SIX (with 2 kids) right next to us. Again - only the Waffle House table occupied - EVERYTHING else open. Our server (Incredible Cristina) moved us to the other end of the venue (thankfully). The original two loud Waffle House folks left and a new Waffle House 4 arrived - they are apparently regulars. Same waitress, even LOUDER this time, however impossible. All four NEW guests were determined to be even louder than she was! Awesome for a "nice place". There are now THREE tables occupied. with everyone listening to the Waffle House 4 and their server. Our server (Cristine) continued to be absolutely incredible, food came out perfect, her personality and service were spot on and amazing. Then a man with a long beard, shorts, and a polo shirt walked near our table and asked how we were doing. We said fine though we had no idea who he was, no name tag or introduction and the servers were dressed considerably BETTER than he was. We assumed he was someone with the restaurant as he then went to the Waffle House 4's table (20feet from us) and we were privileged enough to listen to their conversation at a such volume that we could no longer talk to one another across our own table, so we waited until they were finished. Back to the front hostess - again, "Anniversary, please someplace quiet and out of the way" moved once already..... Next group of SIX that came in - seated to our immediate right. Next group of 4, seated our immediate left, next LOUD group of four, seated immediately behind; we are now surrounded...and the entire other HALF of the venue is EMPTY. In fact, it got SO loud, we ordered our dessert to go. Cristina (AWESOME!!!) continued her incredible service and presence throughout our experience. She brought us a special little anniversary send off, and boxed up our food before we were on our way. Doubtful we will return - good food ABSOLUTELY.
