Had a great experience for my solo breakfast time. The chicken sausage hash brown casserole was delicious, and the Twilight latte was excellent not overly sweet, which I really appreciated. Britney was our server and I couldn't have asked for a more delightful, more engaging waitress for my first time there. She was helpful and patient and I appreciate that. The atmosphere in this place is just outstanding you definitely walk in and the decor catches your eye in a light and comfortable way. The place is sparkling clean, and the food, let me just say I will be back to probably try everything on their menu at one time or another. LOL, not kidding. I have been there twice now and both times for breakfast and have not been disappointed. I had the vegan breakfast sandwich, and vegan breakfast burrito. Both were delicious and very filling. They also have a vegan waffle dish that my daughter loved. So if you're looking for a vegan breakfast spot this is it. As for the restaurant itself If you're a fan of the 50's/60's this place is for you. It has a Happy Days vibe to it with the decor and music. The place is also very clean. Best Anna's House location in our area. Food is always delicious and the staff is friendly and attentive. The inside is like a chic old school diner! This last visit there was longer wait times than usual for our food, which is pretty unusual. Food took about 35-40 minutes to come out of the kitchen once ordered, when usually it takes no longer than 15 minutes. Not sure if they were just struggling to manage the busy holiday rush or if it was a staffing issue. The food here is amazing and the wide range of gluten free options made me happy. Being able to eat a cinnamon roll (rare when you must eat gluten free) was such a treat that I almost didn't want to share with my husband. The crepes and French toast were not only delicious but leftovers reheated well. Bacon was perfectly cooked. Also had a French toast latte which was delicious. The atmosphere was fun and bright. I went to Anna's House to treat myself but almost wish I hadn't! I love the decor n it's always clean n pleasant atmosphere! I ordered the Hippie Hash which is the problem the red skin potatoes were burnt, the 2 over medium eggs were NOT over medium they were done with no run of the yoke! I wanted to send it back but decided against it cuz you never know ! The drink I ordered The Harvest which was the best part of the meal, very very good! The hippie hash is my favorite the veggies are always cooked well with a snap to it so they are never mushy. The Belgium waffles are light and fluffy and the blueberries were big and sweet. The abundance of pumpkin or cinnamon was overwhelmingly bitter yet the dollop of what was suppose to be a spiced cream cheese was super sweet and tasted more like a butter and sugar concoction mixed with spices. One thing about this place, you can count on lots of good food and a wait staff that can handle a large group of talkative women. My boss's favorite breakfast place to have our twice a year gathering. I tried the Monte Cristo sandwich this time and wasn't disappointed but asked for the raspberry jam on the side. It is in my top 6. Everyone else enjoyed their choices except one but it was one of the holiday things and the other one they got they loved. I love the decor since some of it is from the era I grew up. Some I sold in the 5 and Dime store (young ones Google that) or even owned but I am in my 6th decade. Look forward to our next breakfast.
