The technician from the other place went way too close to my lash line causing the glue to burn my eyes! Chau was highly recommended to me by a friend who also does eyelash extensions and I'm so glad I went to Chau. I added on a facial prior to removal of my old lash extensions and addition of new ones. The steam from the facial made it easy to remove the old lashes. Absolutely loved my facial! Chau is very gentle and you pay for what you get - excellent, high quality customer service. But the last handful of visits have been super blasé. In hindsight, I gave BellaBar more chances than I should have. I just really wanted to love it. The brutal truth is that there simply no longer exists the passion behind this business. And it shows. No one has time or interest in supporting a business that doesn't fully show up. They make a great first impression, but can't seem to be able to sustain it. And with that, I quit my support of BellaBar. The last straw was when they didn't show up to a scheduled appointment, tried to say that they tried to contact me (which is baloney or else they wouldn't have had me sit there for 10 minutes), and then didn't even acknowledge the incident during the rescheduled appointment. When they explained the services they wanted, the staff seemed noticeably less interested once they realized there wasn't a pedicure included. They were told there would be a 20-minute wait. A short time later, another customer walked in and requested multiple services. She was taken immediately, while my mom and niece continued to wait. Whether intentional or not, it came across as rude and as though customers requesting smaller services were treated as less important. Unfortunately, it left a very negative impression.

The gel manicure always looks wonderful and lasts 2-3 weeks (I do a lot of typing, so my manicures do not tend to last very long). They have a lot of colors to choose from for the gels in a basket at the front of the salon. They spend just long enough on my gels for them to look perfect, but not so long that I am there forever. When I got the extra long massage along with my pedicure, the massage was wonderful. I am on my feet all day, and it was worth the extra money! My only light criticisms are that i wish they played relaxing music all the time instead of having a television on, and I wish the water were warmer in the pedicure chair. But I still love Top Q, and my nails look better here than anywhere else :)

As I was driving down YL Blvd a few mornings ago,the Blush sign caught my eye. I did a quick Yelp search, saw all the stars and called the shop. I asked if they were taking new clients, and the lady who answered the phone said Yes, and that I could get in right then if I wanted. I was so happy and a wonderful lady named Terry gave me the best haircut I have had in forever! After a brief consultation, She knew exactly how to cut and style my hair and I walked out feeling like a New Woman ! Terry is a literal answer to prayer. Next week I am going to get my nails done there at her recommendation and I am super excited about that!
