I booked a last minute appointment on a Tuesday before a trip, and the front desk reception was incredibly helpful. Let me start off by saying I am by far the most particular person when it comes to my eyebrows. For example- I went through lockdown not getting my eyebrows done because my eyebrow artist was closed for nearly 7 months. I couldn't trust anyone ruining my eyebrows. When I saw prime threading I was curious because it's less than 5 minutes from my house. Luckily, my original artist was out of town for a month which gave me the opportunity to try prime threading. I judge immediately. I walked in and it smelled and looked clean. I'm very particular about this. The artists were all wearing masks and what was most beautiful was the Bollywood music playing in the background. When it was my turn I was greeted by Rima. Needless to say I was extremely nervous but immediately with the questions she asked I knew she knew what she was doing. My eyebrows are amazing! They are thick and the shape of both are the same. I came here to get my brows done for the first time a few months ago and never looked back! I was scared to get them done because i've heard of so many horror stories of women getting their brows butchered but these ladies are so good at what they do! i leave happy every time. First time getting my eyebrows threaded and AVA was an angel sent from above. When you first walk in the shop is clean and the music is very soothing. I told her it was my first time and she was very patient with me. With the anticipation that it would hurt, I was very much wrong. After a really unsanitary visit to my usual eyebrow place, I was ready to find a new place to get my brows done and Prime iBrow was the perfect fit! They are clean, friendly, and really COVID-safe. They even have a new threading practice that the staff learned to make it more sanitary, which was really awesome! Monica was lovely and talked to me throughout my visit. The mini temple massage at the end was also a really nice touch. They are a fairly new business but you can tell that they really care about their clients and building relationships with them. I was lucky to get Reema as my technician/stylist (not sure of the appropriate title), and she was lovely! Im big on customer service, and Reema was excellent. I explained what I wanted, and she knew I was a little nervous, so she showed me her work along the way. I loved the eye /temple massage at the end. Reema was personable, she actually remembered my husband, and no pressure or sales pitches for other services. The other place I went to was not as friendly. The prices are very reasonable at Prime ibrow, shop is clean, they offer a variety of services, and walk-ins are welcomed. They prefer cash, but I paid with card and left a cash tip. My one star is based on the facial I received today. I was on the fence about leaving a review but I decided to stand in my truth. I will never set foot in this establishment again. Not only was the lady heavy handed she kept getting product in my mouth. So much so I was drooling because I didn't want to swallow. I brought in my bonnet so my hair wouldn't get wet. As soon as she started water was flying everywhere and my hair got wet. I was enraged. She ruined my flatiron. She didn't walk me through the products. Did not walk me through the procedures. Did not ask if I had any skin concerns or challenges. As the service went on she put something on my skin and then said this may burn. Then she left and was gone for a while. I had it. She was actually working on another person. I literally felt slapped around by the time she was done. I asked her to conclude my services. I was done. It was the absolute worst. I paid the full price and tipped. This salon only caters and panders to housewives and ladies who lunch type crowd. They could give me free services for the rest of my life and would still refuse to be a patron. Someone once told me that you never go to a Chinese restaurant expecting good Mexican food. Next time I'll do my research. Lesson learned. read more
