I bought a vehicle here about a month ago. While the car itself is fine, the post-sale customer service has been extremely disappointing. On the day of purchase, I had the vehicle inspected and immediately emailed the copy to my sales rep, Anthony who confirmed receipt. That same day, I spoke with Anthony to let him know I accidentally left my EZ Pass in my trade-in. He assured me it would be mailed back to me. Two weeks later, I followed up on the EZ Pass and was told my someone, didn't catch his name, that Anthony would send it out. Three weeks in, I called to check on my hard plates. The title department claimed they never received my inspection report. I re-sent it directly to the title clerk, and she confirmed receipt. I also reminded her about the EZ Pass, and she would have it included in the mail along with my plates. A few days before my temp tags expired, the title clerk called asking for the inspection report. I reminded her that I resent it to her, and she confirmed. She double checked and confirmed that she did in fact have it. I received my plates a few days later, but the EZ Pass was missing--despite multiple assurances it would be included. Since then, I've called repeatedly to get this resolved. My original sales rep is no longer at this location, and neither "Alfonzo" nor "Shawn" have returned my messages that I've left with the sales reps. Now here's my thing, if you couldn't or was not going to send me the ez pass, just tell me; stop misleading me and wasting my time. I'm not mad I about the car itself hence the two stars, instead of one. It's had its issues immediately after sale like the A/C steadily leaking out (meaning they filled it to make it seem like it works great) and one of the seat motors not working, blown springs in the back and some other small stuff. But the price was good. However the issue is their negotiability & quality standards are completely trash. The sales manager is a complete dickhead. I was willing to pay full asking price, no haggle on the vehicle if they'd just put tires on because they looked pretty worn out. They only offered the standard detail and fill-up. When I mentioned it the douche went on to say, "It passed state inspection, so the tires are completely fine! don't try to tell me they're bad, how could they have passed inspection if they were bad, how about that?" Just look at the pictures. I have not driven this car more than a thousand miles. No crazy stuff like burnouts, hard pulls, donuts, anything like that. This is exactly how they were sold. Downright DANGEROUS and I've never left a review anywhere besides here because I've driven this car in the pouring rain without knowing the full extent. Do not trust this dealership. I initially found a car I liked on a car-buying website and sent a message saying I might be interested. Someone contacted me around 10:00 p.m., and one of the managers even called me at 11:00 p.m. The next day, they ran my credit and told me I was "good to go" and to "come on in" without disclosing any pricing or financing details. I live a considerable distance away, so I needed the numbers before making the trip. When they finally provided the breakdown, they had added a $3,000 warranty, a LoJack system, and documentation fees that were much higher than expected. I asked the manager to remove the add-ons, but he refused. In my experience, this dealership was not transparent about the pricing upfront and was unwilling to negotiate unnecessary add-ons. We had been in contact with the dealership every day prior to making our 9 hour drive to Virginia to potentially purchase a truck that we were assured is a quality vehicle. Where to start.....Knowing were would be arriving by a specific time, they did not have the truck ready for a test drive. Not even close. It wouldn't even start. They tried jumping it several times and assured us they had new batteries on the way to the dealership for it. Once they were finally able to get the truck running, we proceeded with the test drive. Clearly, these people thought we were a couple of country rednecks who don't know anything trucks. Big mistake. Starting with outside, the truck had obviously been significantly wrecked due to 3 quarters of the passenger side having a bottom barrel bondo job. When I asked about the spare tire that was on the truck which had an odd rim on it as well, the salesman tried telling me it was not a spare and that the truck is equipped with one rim that is different. Lmao! Trim pieces were missing and conveniently not shown in the photos online. Many, many large paint chips were in the truck which is fine, but show pictures of them. They were large and clear through the paint. Now for the interior mechanicals.....First thing we noticed was fresh oil all around the differential fill cap. If you know anything about trucks, you know that diff oil is rarely changed unless there is reason to which does not typically happen. Even so, the windshield wiper pump did not operate and more importantly, the 4 wheel drive shifter was not hooked up to anything. It just flopped back and forth. On a positive note, the Cummins purred like a kitten once they were actually able to start the truck. It's no wonder the guy tried to seal the deal over the phone without actually seeing and driving the truck. What the #$@! Now I know why. Was going to buy a 4th generation Cummins from this dealership. I had not read the yelp reviews before me and my family took off work to unknowingly waste our whole day driving 8 hours to the dealership. They had known for a week that we would be arriving at a specific scheduled time and upon arrival the truck was parked in and had dead batteries. After waiting roughly 45 minutes for their joke of a mechanic to figure out how to get the jumped they finally got it to fire. At first look, the truck looked nothing like the pictures with chips and scratches all over it. Take in mind this whole time we're trying to communicate with a bunch of folks who can barely speak basic English. After nearly an hour of bullshitting around we finally took the truck on a test drive. The salesmen then demanded to tag along on the test drive and micromanage the entire test drive as if I had never drivin a damn truck. Truck had a spare tire on the front driver side. When I asked if they had the factory rim so I could put a new tire on it, he tried to tell me that that was how ram truck came from the factory. When I tried to shift the truck into 4wd the shifter was limp and did not shift in or out of gear. I have spent my entire life around trucks tractors and heavy equipment and these people treated me as if I had no damn clue and cut me off whenever I asked any kind of mechanic questions about the truck. I purchased a 2015 Lexus GX460 from Prime Motors in Arlington, Virginia believing the vehicle had passed inspection and was in good driving condition. Unfortunately, shortly after purchase I discovered serious issues with the vehicle including electrical problems, brake problems, and unsafe tires. The vehicle later failed Maryland state inspection, which means I have been unable to register or legally use the car since purchasing it. The dashboard electrical system behaves unpredictably while driving, the parking brakes were not functioning properly, and the tires were in very poor condition. All I have asked from the dealership is for them to repair the vehicle enough for it to safely pass state inspection, specifically addressing the electrical, brake, and tire issues. Instead, I have experienced delays, lack of communication, and no meaningful resolution. I also contacted Capital One regarding the situation, and a representative spoke with someone named AK at the dealership who promised the issues would be fixed. However, every time I followed up afterward, I was told he was unavailable. I have not been able to use the vehicle 6 months since I purchased it because it cannot pass inspection or be registered. Buyers should strongly consider getting an independent inspection before purchasing a vehicle from this dealership. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH PRIME MOTORS. When I got to the dealership, Diab instructed me to wait in the creepy waiting-room in the basement. When I went out to see the car, I saw how dirty the car was. I asked Diab for the specs, he was clueless. He made no attempt to look like he knew what he was doing.. After the test drive, I told Diab I want to put down a deposit and return to complete the purchase. Diab said 'we will take things one step at a time'. I asked him what he meant. He said I have to first do a credit application. I told him that I have my own financing. He said that I still have to do a credit application. I completed the credit application in ten minutes. 45 minutes later, we met the manager. The loan he offered was 18.99% APR. I told him that I plan to use my own financing, he laughed and said 'with that many years and that many miles, nobody will finance this car. These are your only options'. With interest, I would pay $10,000 more than the price of the car. I asked him how much the sales price is, he stated that it is $11k with the extended warranty. I told him I am not getting the warranty. He said no bank will finance this car without a warranty. I knew it's illegal for a dealership to force a warranty. I told Maurice I would return with my own financing. He laughed me out of his office. I went to the dealership, preapproval in hand. When Maurice started on the paperwork, he put the sale price $500 more than the price. He tried to convince me that he had the right price. I pulled up the listing and he had no option left but to change the price to the correct one. I saw that a safety inspection was performed three days prior. Seeing this put my mind at ease. I noticed that the processing fee was a $1,650 I asked Maurice what that fee covers, he yelped 'It's the cost of doing business. Doing business in the City of Arlington is more expensive than Chantilly' I nearly burst out laughing when he said 'City of Arlington'. He doesn't know that Arlington is a county. Again, I asked him to explain what fee covers, he got upset and started crying. I told him to relax and that I still want to buy the car. When I got in the car, I noticed was that the gas was nearly empty and the 'oil change due' sign came on. I took the car to a mechanic to do an oil change and inspection of the car. The mechanic said this is the worst car he's ever seen. He said there is no way the car would pass a safety inspection. I called Maurice to tell him how bad of a car he sold me. He very arrogantly kept calling me brother-man and said I have to get a state inspector to provide an estimate for what the car is worth. I already knew Mauricelied because inspectors don't provide estimates. But I indulged his lies. I asked Maurice if the estimate is lower than the sale price, will he refund me the difference? He said ' brotherman, lets' just take things one step at a time'. I took the car to a safety inspector. The car failed the safety inspection. The inspector said that the inspection report is undoubtedly fraudulent and I should immediately report Prime Motors to the State Police. The next day, I showed Maurice the safety inspection. He said he'll take care of the issues. When I asked him to circle which items he will take care of, he said 'why should I do that?' I told him that I'd like to know what specifically he will take care of. He replied with 'look brotherman, I'm a very transparent man'. The next day, I dropped off the car. 12 days later, Maurice calls and says that the car is ready. He tried lying about how safety inspectors have leeway in making their judgements. I pretended to believe his lies. When I picked up the car. I asked Maurice if he had a new safety inspection done. He said no. I figured this was fine as his inspector was already proven to be fraudulent. I drove straight to the safety inspector. He said that the high mount brake light and fog lights were still not working. I was, again disappointed but not surprised. I called Prime Motors again to tell them that they had not fixed these problems they promised to. Maurice started crying and yelling 'look brotherman, I've already done so much for you. I spent $800 replacing the brakes, I'm losing money on the car'. Hearing this, I decided that paying for the rest of the repairs was superior to dealing with him. Also he did not actually replace the front brakes. They may have gotten some friends to positively review this place but the truth behind this business is a different reality. On April 28th 2025 my elderly mother was in desperate need of a vehicle. She had been saving for a down payment. She doesn't have much credit so decided on Prime motors. As they work with various creditors. She had been saving for a down payment. She met with Angel, he showed her a 2016 KIA SORENTO LX. The fist red flag was that it came out with a flat. He assured her this was ok and they put air on the tire. As I mentioned my mother has little knowledge of the used car buying process and was in desperate need. When it was all done she was excited to take home her "new vehicle" the very next day the check engine light came on and the vehicle would not turn on. She reported this and they told her that it was just the battery and they would replace it. So they did and reset the check engine light. On May 1st, 2025, the car broke down again. It wouldn't even pass emissions. It needed brake pads, rotors, and struts. On May 6, 2025, the dealer said they replaced all of those items and did the emissions. During this time they kept telling her well you bought a used car you can't expect no issues. She asked to return it and they told her she could not. During this time they also had her come into the dealer to call the lender and coached her into telling the lender that all was good with the vehicle so that it would pass the underwriting process. Keep in mind since the second day she kept asking to return the vehicle and the dealership refused. They told her they do not care if she sues. Even though it immediately broke Down. Since this date the car has broken down multiple times. Finally on July 3rd 2025 the car broke down while my mother was driving. It had to be towed an hour away to her parking lot. We tried replacing the starter which was completely rusted. This did not fix the issue. The car now sits in the parking lot nor drivable and she has to make the car payments. Since then she has relied on rides from us, Uber, bus. My mother is elderly and this is not feasible. All savings went into this vehicle. We recently ran a carfax on our own and found out it has been in two accidents which were not disclosed. In addition to this we now Know they get the cars from auction. This Car Sat with them since September 2024 until they found my mother to unfortunately offload it to. We understand they are about the bottom line and commissions. However, this should never come at the price of taking advantage of people who lack knowledge and who they know are in a desperate situation. There is not one ounce of good faith effort from this business. Even when they say to call them their voicemail is too full to leave a message. This is bad business practice. Do not buy here. Advertised price, when we arrived and were signing the papers there was magically a 1500$ fee for reconditioning (in addition to the advertised price) and a 1200$ document fee ( this was expected). They tried to add an extended warranty also, which we made them take off. After waiting all night the battery on the car was dead and rather than go get one, i had to get one myself. Now for the 1200$ document fee I am still waiting for tags weeks later. I've never waited more than 2 weeks for MD tags on any vehicle i have bought. This is possibly the worst dealership in the state. From financing the car , all the way down to calling the shop to speak to someone. I purchased a 2018 Buick Encore (Essence Trim) one month ago to the day, and I've taken it back for servicing 4 times. Even as I'm typing this I'm waiting for a tow truck because smoke is coming from behind the steering wheel. On one of my visits the actual mechanic CJ was fixing something that didn't need to be fixed, I've spent a combined 2 work days just sitting and waiting for the man to change out an EVAP sensor. I'm normally very content and patient when it comes to things I know nothing about, but this is simply not a good establishment. I would give 0 stars if I could. the manager Sean is crooked as well, he is and will always be about getting the sale. I though that he had my best interest at heart, (considering he sold me a car with an engine light already on) but he's a huge part of why most people have a bad experience . there is no integrity amongst the staff here, and I advise that that anyone with power, use it to shut this spot down. read more

The general manager tried to add on $5000 in fees to the listing price when we sat down to negotiate - way above a fair price for that car, claiming he would lose money if he didn't charge that price. Classic bait and switch, getting you to come in when you see the low price online, but charge way more in-person after you've invested time and money to prepare to buy the car. The entire place is misogynistic, slimy, and chaotic. When I took the car I was planning to buy for a PPI, the mechanic told me they stopped doing business with Prime Motors because they asked the mechanic to be "nice" about the cars when people took them in. I was gaslighted many times upon calling in to get some resolve, and in my state of disappointment, anger and frustration my depression became worse and was so hurt I completely shut down as I couldn't believe that this happened to me. I took such a great loss ($3,000 down payment, $800 in monthly payment; $1000 in car insurance with a 29% interest)...yeah that happened and needless to say I feel like such the idiot..and to add insult to injury the finance company placed an involuntary repossession on my and my daughter's credit (which she was attached as a co-signer) with the audacity of indebtedness. I don't know why there aren't more people speaking out but something needs to be be done about these unethical and fraudulent businesses operating in the guise of helping people. I know it took me some time to even get here to write this review; but the way I was exploited and swindled by these people I know it is my duty to WARN everyone. ***THIS IS A WARNING: DO NOT PURCHASE HERE*** I was sold a vehicle that was known to the salesperson Richard and the managers to be a bad vehicle, the engine light came on 5 minutes after driving it up the street, I took it back and they told me it was something I did, these crooks looked me in my face and said if you put it in manual mode and drive it the check engine light comes on. I drove my old Infiniti for 15 minutes in manual mode unknowingly, and that didn't happen, so he looked me in my face and lied. Why even be here...in this business to rip people off and be dishonest? If you don't care about the people you serve, or care for certain people in general, I'm confused. I am so grateful that God is always looking out for me. I went against what I normally do: never buy from a random dealership in VA, so that was my fault. I started on cars.com looking for a car to purchase. Considering I had financial woes last year that affected my credit, I wanted to buy low with an affordable note to rebuild my credit. I am a Lexus person, I prefer Lexus, I was told I wouldn't be able to get financing for the one they had without a much higher down payment. I found an Infiniti QX50, and thought, I know my sister has one and one of my closest friend has one, and I had an Infiniti, and it was a great vehicle, G35X. I went through everything promptly. When the finance manager called with the numbers, he explained that they were moving me to a different Infiniti with fewer miles and was told the bank wanted a down payment of $4K, not a problem, sent that, got insurance, etc. I had not yet physically driven the vehicle. This was all done on Saturday, 3.29.25. When I got pictures, I noticed the steering wheel was dirty from what it looked like and needed to be cleaned. The salesperson Richard said he could get that taken care of. I called on Monday to get the status of the loan, and they explained they were waiting on the deal to be finalized. Tuesday comes, I get a call stating I need to do a welcome call with Westlake Financial, I do that, the rep asks me if I am satisfied with the vehicle's condition, I told her I did not have the vehicle yet. I was getting restless because at this point we're well into the week, long story short, I pick the car up, I drive it up not even 5 minutes the engine light came on, I called the bank, and I'm glad I did because the loan had not yet been approved, they stopped the loan on that piece of trash car as they should have because that car is worth $2,500 at best! In any case, the salesperson Richard is dishonest and highly unethical, and the Manager Maurice is dishonest and unethical as he attempted to shame me about my credit and stated I was a high risk loan, mind you I was approved for mortgages this time last year, you can't shame a child of God, I know who I am. Moving along, they have a mechanic on the premises, so he tripped the engine light off, which is what I'm sure they did to get it through VA inspection, or they know someone at an inspection station. I get back in the car, the transmission starts slipping as I'm getting on 95, I text the slimy salesperson and let him know, he doesn't answer, I call back to the shop and ask for Maurice, and he is yelling at me like I'm the problem. Needless to say, the piece of trash broke down not even 20 minutes after I was in it, I had to call and pay for a tow truck to take it back to the parking lot with cars, because that is not a dealership, most dealerships have integrity. These people were trying to have me wait until the deal was funded so I would be stuck with a car and a car note to cause me financial harm; that is low, that is un-American, that is foul, it's criminal, it's disgusting, it's scum. Yes, I got my down payment back after several requests. DO NOT BUY HERE. YOU WILL BE DISAPPOINTED IN ONE WAY OR ANOTHER. read more

Please AVOID at ALL costs! I went in last week to see a vehicle. The vehicle had a check engine light the moment I turned the engine on. Furthermore, the dealership offered financing terms that did not make sense. They WILL add $$$ to the presented value of the vehicle in the paperwork! The interest rate that was offered to me was NOT what was in the paperwork. They are notorious in the Arlington area for trying to fool hard working people. We had such a terrible experience at prime motors. They basically sold us a lemon and they do not care to make it right. The manager Alberto cornejo has an extensive record.. including but not limited to forged bank notes, bad checks, wreckpeas driving, altering titles/plates, obtaining money under false pretenses, failure to have vehicles inspected, capias, and the list goes on. Don't believe me? Look him up on Virginia case search. It all makes sense now after seeing his record. Who lets a person like that run a dealership. What a mess. The check engine light came on a couple hours after buying the car. We have already put $1000+ into the vehicle and it have had it a couple weeks.
