I contacted Prime time before the Thanksgiving Holiday. I supplied them the address and square footage of my home. Their sales person said he was looking at my home via a satellite image. I confirmed the home was two stories in the front, but a portion as three stories in the back due to a walk out basement. However, the home has a second story deck covering half of the back of the home. I was told it would $200 to clean the gutters and $300 to clean the windows. The man on the phone said they would arrive between 10AM - 12PM on Tuesday November 30th. At 2PM on the 30th I phone Prime Time looking for an update. I was told I was mistaken and their staff would arrive Wed. Dec. 1st between 10AM - 12PM. I starting calling Prime Time at 2PM as no one had shown up. At 4PM a young man arrived stating he could not work on the house without a second helper and left. I called Prime Time immediately after he left and was assured a team of two people would be to my home Thursday morning Dec. 2nd. I called at roughly 10AM Thursday Dec. 2nd. was assured the team would arrive shortly. No one arrived or called me on the 2nd. I phone at roughly 4:30PM on the 2nd looking for an explanation and sharing this was some of the worst customer service I had ever seen. I was assured that at team would arrive on or before 8AM on Friday Dec. 3rd. A single person, not a team arrive around 9AM on the 3rd. He informed me the window cleaning would be $480, not the $300 I was given over the phone. I told him to contact his office as I was given a price of $300. He simply got in his truck and left. This is a clear case of Bait and Switch. First, terrible customer service, then a Bait and Switch on the pricing. If you read this be warned. This is a disreputable company. read more

Quoted a certain price and then charged me extra for cleaning down spouts! This was not explained during the quoting process and they would not remove the charge from my invoice. I will not be using them again. Offered to take an extra $10 off but they charged me an additional $30! Whoever I spoke with didn't seem to care that I said I would not do business with them again. Prime Time did an amazing job on my windows and gutters. With VERY little notice, they were here, did windows inside and out, we hardly knew they were here. We've never had such clean windows! I've never had windows professionally cleaned, instead we've painstakingly done each window, usually getting tired before we were finished, thus involving two weekends. They were very professional, put little paper booties on when they came in, so as not mess up the floors etc. I would highly recommend them without a doubt. read more

If I could give no stars I would. They gave me a quote of approximately $150 with an additional fee of $8 for any clogged gutters that we agreed on. Every time they scheduled a time to come, they were a no show. When they finally sent someone the first time, the guy changed the price to $200 with an absolute additional charge of $8 a down spot whether they were clogged or not. I said no thank you. They sent someone days later who again changed the price this time to $190 with an additional charge of $8 per down spot. Both men that were sent are separate from the company and work as contractors for the company. Be aware that when they come to your house, they will give you a completely different price. Now I am almost 10 days out with my gutters full of leaves thanks to trusting an unrealizable company. The man who I spoke to on the phone was also rude and disrespectful. I had to call the police to get them to leave my property. I did not fall for their scam and asked them to leave, after numerous request to ask them to stop and leave, I had to call the police. Prime time window cleaners came out to my 3rd floor condo about 7 years ago. They removed the screens but didn't keep track of which screen goes in which widow. You would think they would have done that seeing that they're supposed to be experts. Needless to say they put the screens back in the wrong windows and were mismatched for the next seven years until we replaced our windows that open inward such that we can clean the outside windows from inside our condo very easily. Some screens wouldn't go up and down when prime time cleaning finished the job. Another reason I am giving a terrible rating is because they continue to call me monthly asking if I want their services again and I repeatedly tell them to take my name off their records and to never call again. But they still do. I've blocked their number this last time around. If they get around that, I will file harassment charges and report them to the BBB. read more

I used a different company(Bubbles)...I refuse to do business with liars and cheats! Everything this man said is a LIE don't use them!!! I was very impressed with the window cleaning service provided to me earlier this week by Prime Time. I have never been a fan of having someone do my dirty work for me, but I will eat my words, as I can honestly say that the job was well done (by Jose) earlier this week. I live on the second floor of our condo unit in Lakeview, across from a very busy baseball field and dog park. Needless to say the sand from the diamonds across the street never seizes to drift elsewhere but my sliding door windows! My poor chihuahua, Gizmo, has the haziest views because of the filth that settles on my sliding doors/living room windows. Since Prime Time has stopped by earlier this week, the windows are crystal clear! I can leave my blinds open without embarrassment and Gizmo has had a much clearer view of the bustling busy street below! I called on Dec. 7th and asked if they could clean my gutters. I was told that they would be over that afternoon, so I waited, and waited and waited. No one came or called. On Dec. 19th, I came home at lunch and something looked different - my gutters had been cleaned. That's the good news. The bad news is that they left the gate to my back yard open, in spite of the "beware of dogs" sign. Thankfully, my dogs didn't escape when I let them out! Everything that was in the gutters was dropped on my property right where it was removed, including in the front, where it was dropped on top of my Christmas decorations. They left an invoice in my mail box, which was higher than the prices listed on the invoice itself! I just sent a check. Some things are not worth arguing about, and I'm just glad that my gutters were cleaned. read more

Two reasons to use this company. 1. You don't value your time. 2. You don't value your family's safety. After choosing Prime Time to clean our gutters, my husband said they would arrive on Friday between 12:00 and 4:00 PM. Can you guess when they came? Monday afternoon. No one called to explain what happened. I only knew they were at my house because I heard someone on the roof. The employee said he didn't have any information about the Friday before. When I called the company to inquire the man said, "It must have been weather related." There was no weather and that's a lame-a$$ way to cover for a mistake. Once the cleaning was complete, I was fine...until I got outside and our dog was gone. The man who cleaned the gutter left our gate open and the dog ran off. I cannot put into words how angry I was/am. I called the company and let them have it. At no point did the "manager" apologize on his own. Admittedly I was yelling at him and cussing him out, but his responses were condescending and rude. "Do you want us to help you come find your dog, ma'am?" To which I had to say, "You know I don't need you to do another f*cking thing for me." So yeah, I would never, ever, ever, ever, ever hire this company again. Ever. read more

The washer was unable to make the first appointment because he couldn't find a parking space on the nearby streets. Nevertheless, we scheduled a second appointment within a couple of days. The washer arrived promptly and registered with the receiving room supervisor without difficulty. He was very personable, went right to work, and completed the job expeditiously. I feel compelled to update my review after my most recent experience with this Company, in which they billed me $200 to clean the same gutters that they previously charged $116 and $158 for, respectively. See the pattern here? Every time you use them, the price goes up for the same service. After I called to complain, the owner did agree to reduce the charge to $168, closer to the last charge. However, I do not appreciate their attempt to take advantage, especially after I have used them many times in the past. The owner also tried to convince me that my gutters were more clogged than they were last Fall after the leaves fell. Having personally checked the gutters on both occasions, I know this was not true. I will find another reputable Company to deal with in the future that appreciates their customers instead of taking advantage of them. read more

This place started calling me in 2008 and time and time again I told them "NO". Last year I listened to their sales pitch by someone who assured me they were the "salesperson". Upon receiving a quote, I set an appointment because their prices were too good to be true. They sent two mexicans that barely spoke english but could speak a much higher price, more than double what I was quoted - many "add ons" they do not mention on the phone. When they phoned the office I spoke with 3 different people who tried to get my business. They assured me they had NO salespersons, only telemarketers that obviously know very little. The guy that came to do the cleaning said this happens all the time. I did not go thru with the cleaning and told 2 of the 3 people I spoke with to take me off of their list. Between June & October 2011 rec'd calls every month, asked them not to call again. This evening at 7 p.m. rec'd call & asked to be taken off their list then asked for the callers name. He refused to give me his name. This place is a joke. Get used to seeing this because I'm posting it everywhere, this place should not be in business P.S. the cleaners they sent offered to do the windows on the side, on the weekend for cash, WAY less! I had a crew from prime time clean my windows yesterday and I have to say they did an excellent job. Our house is over a hundred years old and the windows, storms and screens are probably just as old and very difficult to clean and this crew did an excellent job. I called the company and told the owner how pleased I was and he asked me to post a review. I am happy to do so. This is my first review but it is legit. It made a huge difference and was the best money I spent in a long time. I do agree that after you use their service the call fairly regularly but I just tell them I will let them know when I need their services. read more

The actual bill was over twice their quote. After looking up our house on line, and our telling them about having gutter screens on our gutters, they gave us a quote of $150. However, they gave us a bill of $320, when the job was done. Granted, they missed that we wanted the garage gutters cleaned, as well, so I can forgive an extra charge for that part of the job. What I cannot forgive is the ridiculous other charges: charging us extra for removing the gutter screens AND charging us $80 for 'downspout flushing'. (They used our hose and our water, too.) This was NEVER mentioned and, had they said it was a part of the service, we would have said no thank you and chosen another company. I did call them for an explanation and was told someone would call me back. I have not heard from them since. read more

Would give zero stars if possible. I contacted Prime Time Window Cleaning of Chicago to clean all of my outside windows and four inside windows at my home in Cary, IL. My husband and I are in our 60's and are unable to climb ladders and do the job ourselves. I received a telephone quote and a team of two showed up to do the work. It was a cloudy day and they had to wait for some rain to subside, so I was surprised they wanted to do the work. After they completed the job, I paid them and they left. A couple of days later, my husband and I walked around the house and were totally disgusted and unhappy with the quality of the work. One window had six streaks two feet long zig zagging from the top to the bottom. All of the other window bottoms have mineral deposit like drops along the last couple of inches. They actually looked worse than before they cleaned them. I called and spoke with John who set up an appointment, promising that the windows would be redone to our satisfaction. The first couple of schedulings, no one ever showed up. In the meantime, our credit card payment was collected by Prime Time Windows. The window cleaner did show up on 2 or 3 different occasions after the "no shows" -- never even on the scheduled day let alone the scheduled time. One time he arrived around 7:00 p.m. and we told him that we were not interested in him cleaning the windows when it would be dark before he finished. Another time, he arrived between 7:30 and 8:00 a.m. in the morning (wasn't scheduled until between 1:00 and 4:00 p.m. that day) We explained to him that we were just about to call him to inform him that we had lost electricity at 1:00 p.m. the day prior and did not have water to use since our water is run by electricity in the rural area we live in. He still wanted to clean them! How do you clean windows without water? I had never seen them change the water when they were out here the first time so maybe they didn't really need much water any way. You don't require water to wash windows? I don't get it. Yesterday, July 25, the same window cleaner arrived at 4:00 p.m. to do the work. Again, there was no appointment scheduled for that day; he told me that he could not come on July 26th, as scheduled, because he was busy. After walking around the house and inspecting the windows, he informed me that my windows are old and have what they refer to as "sunburn" and they cannot be cleaned. Why was I not told this the day they showed up and supposedly "cleaned" (what a joke) the windows and took my credit card payment. He called his boss, John, and they tried to convince me of that my windows were old and I had this window sunburn. John proceeded to e-mail me window pictures showing how clean my windows were the day that they were completed. The pictures show my windows to be about the size of a postage stamp. YOU CAN'T TELL ANYTHING FROM THESE PICS! I invited him out to my house to see how dirty my windows were, but he did not reply, and then repeated that he sent me pics showing very clean windows. If anybody is interested in seeing these pictures, I would be happy to supply them. By the way, even though I am in my 60's and have had 6 back surgeries in the last 7-1/2 years, I went out with a razor knife and was able in a very short time to remove the mineral deposits that were dried in the bottom 2" of one window this morning. It took me about 5 minutes. The sunburn line is just a bunch of BS -- they probably used too much soap and did not rinse them. This is the most discourteous and unprofessional company I have ever dealt with during my 40 years as a homeowner of four different properties, and I cannot begin to understand how they are still in business. I have contacted my credit card company who will dispute their charges, and have submitted a detailed review to Home Advisors, who recommended them in the first place. I have never disputed a service charge in my entire life, and never have dealt with such a company that is so non-communicative and disorganized. They actually had the gall to email me today and ask me for a review of their work. I informed them that I was extremely dissatisfied with their work and their organization, and told them to never contact me again. read more

Quoted us a price - $250 based on my estimation of 30 windows with storms inside an out. They later arrive and inform us that there are 80 windows (evidently each pane is counted) and that the charge was now $490. Being unimpressed with the disparity between the estimate that the actual quote, we asked them to do the outside only. Upon their departure, I discovered countless clips that they failed to reinstall from the mullions on the French doors. If that isn't enough to suitably steer you away, we've since had four screens blow off the house because they didn't refit them properly. All in all I'd say this was a very disappointing transaction. read more

They can't be bothered to use it to weed out those who don't want to be annoyed by telemarketers. Even though it's the law. And you look around here and on other review sites and you get a picture of a company that says what it takes to get your business, but not what it takes to EARN your business. Completely unprofessional & a total waste of my time. I had scheduled them to clean exterior windows. They were supposed to be complete prior to Thanksgiving as promised. They didn't show up & gave no notice on four separate occasions. I contacted them on each no-show & was promised a reschedule prior to Thanksgiving. They showed up three days after Thanksgiving. I had asked them several times if I should just reschedule with a different company who might have more availability & they assured me they would be there. Should have trusted my gut on the first no-show & went elsewhere. Only reason why they were given one star is I was unable to post zero stars. read more
