I never felt rushed or felt annoyance from the folks behind the counter. That particular location is a bit out of the way for me, but luckily they have several locations around the Portland area. For my caffeine fix, I got an apple strudel latte with oat milk. My first cup tasted like bananas so I first checked the description and it didn't say banana in it. The person behind the cash register saw my quizzical look and asked me if everything ok. They were very kind and offered to remake my drink. Unfortunately, they made the orange chocolate drink for my remake and so had to remake the drink a third time. My drink still tasted like bananas and I decided to just not follow up. There is a banana drink on their menu and I'm curious if there was just a cross of flavors from the things they used behind the counter somehow, like if the apple syrup is housed in something that used to be for the banana flavor. I'm not a banana person so I really did not enjoy this drink. I can tell the coffee itself is good, but I can't get over the banana. I also got a breakfast melt sandwich. I didn't want to be driving when my phone started pinging orders. I saw Roseline Coffee, so I pulled into the parking lot I was greeted warmly when I entered. I saw the case with baked goods, and asked if there were any vegan items. The top shelf had Petunia's baked goods which are vegan and gluten free. I got a cinnamon crumb cake and ordered a mocha with Holy Kakow and soy milk. It was delicious! Our first visit and last. I thought the coffee was very pricey for what you get. I had one of their specialty lattes. A medium size. The medium size is same size as a Starbucks Tall. They charge for almond milk some coffee establishments do. I paid almost $8! My husband got a small latte. The small is like a kids cup! Ridiculous! But I should have looked at their cup sizes before I ordered. We also got 2 croissants. The chocolate one had hardly any chocolate in it. I paid $25 for 2 croissants and 2 coffees. We will not be back. The coffee is nothing special for what they charge. read more

The drink I ordered was good but they are seriously short-staffed. The proportion of workers to customers was far too small. They had about 20 customers in the store plus new ones coming in, with two people behind the counter. They need a couple more baristas! Or even one! If they can do that, they've got it made. I was in this location last week and saw something that really stuck with me. A customer got heated at another customer and pulled the chair out from them. The chair puller started yelling at the barista until a manager wearing a glasses came out.
