I'd previously come here to get coffee after a haircut but I had never tried the food. Decided to stop for brunch with my husband after a dr appointment. First the location, I already knew the parking situation was less than ideal. Finding a space to park can be hard. Now the ambiance, this place is very utilitarian, it serves it's purpose. There is no charm or decor. Seats are also uncomfortable. The coffee here is really great. If the parking situation were better I would see myself coming here for a latte more often. The food is also pretty standard brunch options. Small menu but a good variety so everyone will find something they like. Service was fine. it didn't take too long to get our food. The food itself was good. I'm trying not to be cheap but I felt the price for my breakfast was a bit high and the upcharges for things was quite steep. I enjoy their scones, avocado toast and yogurt parfaits. Might have a wait on some days but usually not too bad. My fiancé LOVES the sausage and gravy with biscuits, and he's picky enough that he's only ever loved his dad's recipe. I went in around 2:30 when they stop serving food, but the manager, Hanna, alerted the kitchen that they had one more person ordering food. I had just had a bad experience and told Hanna about it, explaining to her why I was going to have a beer earlier in the day than I usually drink alcohol. She was so kind, and supportive listening to my scary story, she took great care of me, and even gave me a free chocolate croissant, which was delicious. The lunch (veggie sandwich and fruit) was also yummy! I look forward to grabbing coffee and lunch here more often in the future. I judge a lot of places based on their biscuits and gravy. I believe the biscuits here are homemade, and their gravy is seasoned well and a great portion comes with your meal. The fried rice was incredible and very generous proportions. The waffles were cooked well and delicious. The eggs and avocado toast were out of this world good. We were greeted immediately upon walking in and were served very quickly with nothing but smiles. The vibes of the restaurant were so nice. Very nice place to sit and enjoy. Such a cool cafe that we happened to find while in Tualatin. The owner asked us how everything was and was kind and genuine. We were impressed that against cultural norms, they did not accept tips which was so refreshing in an inundated expectation of answering "just a couple questions." The owner was transparent saying their prices were about 7% higher but we found that the food and drink were still fairly priced especially given the location and atmosphere. We sat at the bar and had biscuits and gravy, croissant breaky Sando, and avocado toast. Washed it down with a great blood Mary and mimosa (there were 3 of us- stop judging)! While we were waiting on a bench, we decided to get a hot drink (a London Fog and Pumpkin Chai Latte) to have while we were waiting. Turns out, that didn't come until we were finally sat. Once your name is called, you place your order with the cashier and your food is delivered to your table once it's ready. One thing to note is that the menu is only listed on the wall. On Yelp, we found a photo of a paper menu from a couple of years ago that listed dietary restrictions...which they no longer have. However, the cashier was happy to help my friend find a gluten-free and vegetarian dish. I especially enjoyed the Grilled Cheese + Tomato Soup, which was made with rustic sourdough bread and flavorful soup. This is a delightful breakfast and brunch place that I came to completely by accident on my way driving from the SF Bay Area to Seattle. I had French toast with eggs and ham that was cooked to perfection, and a delicious latte. I was a little confused when I paid for my order and wasn't given an option to tip. When leaving, I told the server I'd like to leave a tip but needed some change. She graciously answered that they have a policy of not accepting tips, presumably because they are being adequately compensated in other ways. This reminds me of restaurants in Europe, which is really the way I prefer things to be. In any case, the food was excellent , the servers friendly, and the environment clean and comfortable. The meals were flavorful, reminiscent of comfort food and a home-cooked meal. ~ SERVICE Service was pristine as the meals came quickly and the servers would frequently check up on us to see how we were doing despite a full and busy restaurant. ~ PARKING There is a parking lot that is shared between multiple businesses in this area. We were lucky to find a spot on a Saturday, but I can imagine this lot being full during prime times and parking would have to transfer over to the streets. Came looking for brunch. This is a bland looking cafe inside with about 12-15 tables. It has a quite ordinary menu. I ordered "Two Eggs Any Way" but was told they don't do poached eggs as I requested. I find this a bit scandalous as it is a brunch spot and also the name of the dish is misleading. Food tasted average albeit unmemorable. The bacon was good, and scrambled eggs were fluffy. Also, they do have a few alcohol beverages like mimosas. However the sourdough bread was hard and did not taste freshly baked. One bigger piece of my breakfast potatoes was cold in the center, and they didn't taste crispy. Conclusion: This is like any ordinary cafeteria, the tables are even numbered and they, like the chairs, seemed to be of cheaper construction. I'll bet locals in the area might be regulars but frankly I found this sport unremarkable. read more

Went in this morning and ordered a coffee. The order was taking a bit, so I went up to check, thinking maybe it'd gotten dropped. Everyone's busy, stuff happens, I get it. There was an employee mopping the area and he said it'd be a minute. Then I realized it wasn't routine mopping but a cleanup situation. I apologized to him and said I didn't realize what had happened. He said "I'm John, the owner. We have a rule here that when an employee spills something, somebody else cleans it up. They're stressed out enough." Let me spell that out...the owner was wielding a mop to ease the mental load on one of his employees.
