    Chicken Cutlet
    C C.

Ordered the chicken cutlet w/ gravy. I would go here to grab some quick lunch, but this time, I'm probably not going to get food here anymore. When I opened up my plate lunch, my chicken cutlet smelled like it was marinated in bleach or some kind of cleaning solution. I don't know I kept eating it thinking the smell is going to diminish. I couldn't eat all of my food and I threw it away. I was disgusted. I didn't notice the business has changed its name from Tasty to Primo. Even in the past, I got a sprite fountain drink & it tasted like bleach. It's seems like they still have the same workers from when they switch the business name. They are friendly but they need to stop putting bleach/cleaning solution in their food. L&L & Wiki Wiki Hawaiian is down the road if you don't want bleach in your Hawaiian food.

We were in the area for a competition at DaVinci High School and found this amazing Hawaiian plate restaurant. The food was delicious, everything was made fresh, and the Mac salad was so traditional - it reminded us of our vacation in Maui! Definitely try this place!

The food was really good here. I think they rebranded their restaurant as the name has changed but the food is still the same and consistent with Hawaiian Cuisine. I ordered the Lau Lau and it was amazing. The portion was filling. The service was friendly and the restaurant was clean. It was busy, so it took longer than normal to get my food. The parking was plentiful and there are other eateries in the complex. If you're around El Segundo or the LAX airport, swing on by to try some good eats, Hawaiian Style.

    Loco moco

If you're cruising through El Segundo or catching a flight at LAX, you've got to hit this spot for some authentic Hawaii food & vibes. It looks like they've rebranded recently, but don't let the new name fool you--the menu is still delivering that consistent and high-quality local style food. I went with the Loco Moco, and it was absolute fire. The flavors are on point, so definitely come hungry. The staff is super friendly and kept the dining area spotless. Plus, the parking lot is huge, which is a rare win for LA. Come give this place a try!!

Food is salty. And when asked about it they did not offer to redo the food, but offered a scoop of rice.

Ladybug Cafe is a Hawaiian-style restaurant that has a nostalgic feel, like my grandparents' home…read more Some of their popular dishes include chicken katsu, fried chicken, butterfish, beef stew, and mac salad. They also offer burgers, sandwiches, and poke bowls as well as breakfast dishes. I finally came here for lunch and it wasn't too busy on a Wednesday. Hubby got the Ahi Tuna Poke Salad and it was a generous portion! The ingredients were fresh and the ginger miso dressing was delicious. I got the Chicken Katsu and Fried Chicken Combo, which came with salad, rice and mac salad. The Fried Chicken was seasoned and fried to perfection! So juicy too. The chicken katsu was a bit disappointing though. The chicken was pounded paper thin and the panko crust, although it was crispy and not too oily, separated from the chicken. The sides were pretty average. I heard they also have live music on the weekends and evenings, which is great in their spacious dining area. Love the cute drawings and messages from locals and the collection of ladybugs and lucky cats. I would come back since I work close by. I would definitely get the fried chicken again and try other dishes on their extensive menu. Friendly and efficient service. Free parking lot in the back.

I had the entire lot myself. This spot must get busy for lunch with all the businesses in the area but this is the second spot I visited and both times, it was basically dead and I could have done donuts in the lot. Free too. Service was ok. It's not table service. Order at the counter. Wait to be called. Grab your dinner and eat or take it to go. Gentleman behind the counter was friendly enough. I don't know if all orders are packaged like it's takeout, but it's how mine was served though I told him I'd be dining in. To the food. Had the Feast plus two Musubi's (Portuguese Sausage and Spam). For the Musubis, too much rice. I could barely taste the meat and sauce. For my taste, I would have liked a little more sauce. I wouldn't order this again. For the Feast, I requested all Mac Salad. The Feast was ok. The Beef was on the salty side. Not so much that I would have asked for rice to balance it when I was eating and the rest was standard. I felt the portion size leaned towards the smaller end on the spectrum. I did like that there's both indoor and outdoor seating. Inside in case it's cold or raining and there's a large communal table if you have a small group. If you have a large group, probably best to eat outside. Since the Musubi didn't quite do it for me, I'll have to test (next time) the Kalua Pig and Lau Lau to see if this really does remind me of home.
