    Mini chicken katsu curry
    C C.

Was passing through LAX and stopped here for lunch. This place is great for grab & go. I ordered the mini chicken katsu curry place lunch. The regular size plate lunches are for those who got big appetites. Love it, because it's not too salty compared to other Hawaiian bbq spots. I also tried the teriyaki chicken plate lunch in the past. This place can get really busy especially during lunch hours because customers either are on lunch break or are heading to LAX. It's not a dine-in place. I do recommend their food. But watch out for the food coma after. Plate lunches are heavy meals. The lady at the counter very friendly and quick with my order. Will come again when passing by LAX.

Chicken Katsu + Curry , has the cup of curry, rice, macaroni salad, cabbage under the chicken, and of course the chicken!

Food is great, and is always hot and tasty! I usually go for the chicken katsu here and thy always give great portions of food! I've also had their other dishes like the regular grilled chicken, and so far, everything has been great! Price range is around $20, they also offer mini versions too. Drink are available and they have fountain drinks, and canned drinks including Hawaiian canned drinks! The restaurant itself is a small store so it's mostly takeout only, with the ordering in the front and kitchen in the back. Theres a few small seats available, though there seems to be some outside seating available in the plaza. Something nice I liked about this place is they give the clamshell plastic boxes which are microwaveable instead of the foam boxes though I wish they had an option for paper/compostable boxes. Also it looks like they do catering too!

I was torn between WikiWiki and L&L but... wikiwki won my heart and my wallet. The customer service for both were awesome when retrieving quotes. Just wikiwiki is a bit more affordable. Linda is awesome and helped quote based on my party I was catering for a colleague farewell party. Everyone was so happy with this decision and the food was fresh yummy and filling. She even accommodated to cutting the spamusubi in half so there were more to share. Thanks for making it happen! Can't wait to return and order again

Delicious Hawaiian food. My bf used to work nearby and would bring the food from here and I loved it. Now he longer work in the South Bay Area so I'll swing by and grab food to take home. Our go to is the Portuguese sausage and loco moco plate. The portion is large and the patty for the loco moco is plump! The macaroni salad is tasty and I steamed veggies are tasty dipped in their teriyaki sauce. The eggs are perfectly cooked, over easy. Definitely give this place a try if you're in the mood for Hawaiian food.

Easy to order, food was good, and generous portions. Solid lunch spot when in the area.

One of the many places that I have as a lunch option when I work out at the El Segundo office. I've only been here once so far. And since I'm trying to cut back on the meat I got the tropical chicken salad. Yes I know it's chicken but I want something. It's a little pricey for lunch but you definitely get what you pay for. The portions are huge. The salad itself had a great taste and everything tasted fresh. I couldn't even finish the entire salad and ate almost half of it for dinner that night. No frills and no nonsense. I walked in placed my order and waited for 10 minutes to pick up my food. Not a lot of interaction which is not a bad thing especially when you just wanna get your food and go. I really liked that the lady behind the counter was really straightforward. I definitely would come back for lunch take out when I'm working in the area.

I wouldn't even give it one star. My sister asked the lady how her short ribs are (we were just going to get the mac) we order the ribs and go sit out front and one bite from each of us and we spit it out. No flavor in either the ribs or the Mac. The worst part is we went back in feeling horrible we didn't like it. (Servers, we don't wanna be those people) but it wasn't good at all. We asked if we could exchange it. The lady at the front was ABSOLUTELY RUDEEE. No. No. We don't do that. We can't exchange it? NOPE SHE YELLED AT US! They don't do refunds or exchanges. We took one bite? Iv worked in the food industry for 15 years, Iv never heard such policy. It's not right. It's not okay. If something is horrible we should be able to switch it or get out money back. Stay away from this place

We went for the Locomoco (upgraded with bacon fried rice) and Rudy's Locomoco. Me: 8/10 -- solid, but I kept wishing for a little kick. Chili oil probably would've done the trick. Sonny: 8.5/10 -- same thought, spice would've leveled it up. Rabsang: 8.5/10 -- loved the touch of sweetness. Iber: 8/5 -- portions are HUGE, like seriously enough for two. Overall: sweet + savory flavors, total Hawaiian comfort food vibes, and portions that will leave you stuffed. A little more spice and it'd be perfect, but still a spot worth hitting up if you're hungry and craving island vibes.

Although, not a bad choice. Expect a diner like cafe. It wasn't busy at all. You order at the cashier and they deliver to your table. We got the loco moco and the kualoa pork breakfast burrito. The food was pretty ok, loco moco tasted very home cooked, which was not bad! The patty was well seasoned, but the gravy was a bit bland. It was well balanced when eating it altogether. The kualoa pork breakfast burrito was interesting to try, although, the green sauce they added made the overall taste a bit confusing. So I enjoyed it without the green sauce. The pork could be softer, but it was an interesting take. Overall, the food was okay, but the girl handling the cashier, cleaning tables, and serving the food is working hard! Service was pretty nice. It's nice to support the business!

Walking in on a Saturday, the place was buzzing with patrons, so I knew this had to be up to par with many of the ono spots serving Japanese and Hawaiian cuisine in the area. My friend I chose to order two dishes. Our choices were the Ladybug Fried Chicken and Fried Rice with Char Siu. The Fried Rice comes with Miso Soup. The Miso Soup was served first. It had a light and savory broth that was comforting. It had a good umami rich miso flavor and made for a good soothing start for the meal. Up next, we got to try the Fried Rice with Char Siu. The Fried Rice had a surprising reddish color that perfectly matched the char siu. It added a nice visual cue to the sweet, smoky flavor. The Ladybug Fried Chicken was my favorite. It was freshly fried, golden and crispy. I enjoyed the juicy and tender meat and the crunchy outside. It is served with rice, green salad and potato-mac. I wish there was an option to upgrade to fried rice because this fried chicken really paired well with the fried rice. Nevetheless, I did enjoy this chicken with the potato-mac as well. The potato-mac was creamy and was so ono. Overall, Ladybug Cafe is a solid spot in Gardena for some classic Japanese and Hawaiian eats!
