Plenty of meat and it had to be a six napkin sandwich with the cheese dripping down my hand. The best I have had in a long time. My friend had the turkey sandwich and said how good it was. We were each given a complimentary "Schwarbomb". It was meat wrapped in a wonton type wrapper. It came with a mildly spicy dip. It was also delicious. This little hole in the wall is worth a try. One of the heavy hitters in Bucks County when it comes to hoagies and cheesesteaks. Had a chat with who I can only assume is the owner and he told me that they get their seeded rolls in from Sarcone's in South Philadelphia parbaked and they finish it in their ovens. Such a great addition. Friendly people all around and a cool spot to grab a quick bite to go or eat in. Tasty cheesesteak sandwich using ribye on nice sesamed bread (sesame can be held for the finicky), nice and toasty on the outside, soft on the inside, and, most importantly, freshly baked. For extra charge, can have bread buttered with garlic (have to try next time). Several cheese options, including whiz. Also can get chicken cheesesteak instead. Italian with several options too, with ham, genoa, capicola and prosciutto in the mix along with hot peppers, sweet peppers, and banana peppers as well as an olive paste, amongs its various offerings (I think you can also have it made to order too). Roasted pork sandwich probably their best offering, cooked in white wine and offered with broccoli rabe, spinach or peppers. Yummy. Price and amount reasonable. What to do when craving a hoagie during quarantine?!? Slack's!!!! We made our order over the phone, and they told us it would be about ten minutes. We waited, pulled up and there was no one hanging around... which is good! In and out under a minute, got our goods and supported small business!!!! We got a turkey and cheese hoagie with peppers and it was delicious. The bread was super fresh and soft, the turkey was juicy and they did not skimp on mayo, oil and vinegar... much appreciated! First let me say how wonderful YELP is! So often life can take us to an area where we know nothing about, and of course, we get hungry while there!! Well yesterday was no different. I had an appointment in Warrington, Pa, and we hadn't eaten yet! It was after the lunch rush, and we needed something quick enough to be able to get to my appointment on time. Enter Yelp, and the Slack's Hoagie Shack. We took a quick look at the menu on their window, saw how varied it was, and went right in. Hubby had a roast beef hoagie. He is a lover of breads, rolls. HOURS later, he spoke of how fabulous that hoagie was, and especially how great their roll was! I was in a cheeseburger mood, and boy did their hit the spot! They make a magical homemade sauce they put on their cheeseburger, with diced pickles in it, OH SO GOOD! Sadly, I inhaled the burger, and forgot to get a pic first! I also ordered french fries, and they were EXCELLENT. Looking forward to a return visit!! First time in. Met the owner Italo. Super guy. Left my sandwich order in his hands. Fried onions, mushrooms on that world class cheesesteak. Ordered some onion rings and crab fries. Enormous portions sizes but all very good. The 6th star is for customer service. This guys treats his customers like family. He spent some time chatting with us while we ate and introduced my 11 year old hockey player to his box of sports cards available for the kids to take sports cards home. I won a gift card from Slack's through a Facebook Contest in January and tried a wide variety of foods to give an honest review. Slack's is in an awkward shopping center. One way to get in and one way to get out because it's on 611 with a median and no turning lane for the shopping center. Once you're in the lot though, there is a decent amount of parking and the restaurant itself is nice. There's lots of seating with little flower pots on the tables. The owner is a nice guy. He's really trying to revive this little Shop and I think he's doing a great job. Some of the foods we tried, and some pictured, were: Italian hoagie Honey mustard wrap Buffalo chicken bites Buffalo wings Cheesesteak w.mushrooms Garlic bread cheesesteak Chicken tenders The hoagie left much to be desired.. I wasn't thoroughly impressed. The meats were just okay and the red onion was too overbearing. The honey mustard wrap was very filling and delicious. Juicy and filled with Honey mustard flavor. Buffalo chicken bites are unique and delicious. It's like buffalo covered chicken tender pieces covered in American cheese. The wings were nice and spicy.. even the hot left quite a sting. There was quite a bit of gristle and fat, but that's not necessarily the fault of the proprietor. Damn chickens need a diet is all. I kid- I kid. But they're great wings flavor wise! The cheesesteaks are AWESOME. The flavor was on point. The meat was nice big hunks of steak that filled the roll. Highly recommend the garlic bread cheesesteak! The chicken tenders were yummy! My daughter didn't eat much so I polished them bad boys off. The fries were yummy.. but even better loaded! The loaded fries had cheese, ranch, and bacon pieces. Mmmmm! It took 30 minutes for me to finally get into my food and it was as delicious as it would be minutes after being made. Anyway.. I DO recommend Slack's. They're quite and efficient. All of the staff members and the owner are very nice. The selection is great and the food is delicious! They're always running contests and- if you're apprehensive about giving them a try- you can sign up for text alerts and get yourself a free sandwich.. so try it! You might find your new favorite cheesesteak joint in the burbs! read more

Just ate here for the first time. Like a few other reviews, I have nothing to rave about... I ordered a turkey hoagie (6") meal. Out the door it cost me $8 not bad... the sandwich didn't have much taste unfortunately. The roll however was fresh baked and good. The fries are seasoned steak fries, crispy, not bad. Pepsi products unfortunately. I would have given another star for Coke products. All in all the staff was friendly, food sub par. I'm in the area for a training class, was hoping to find a lunch spot I'd go to on the regular when I'm here... instead I'll keep looking. read more
