Roasted half chicken with vegetables and roasted potatoes
    Leslie H.

We were greeted with a smile and quick service! It's a charming little place with authentic Italian dishes and wine! We started with the Michelangelo Chianti wine which was great! I had the half roasted chicken with vegetables and roasted fingerling potatoes and my husband had the salmon . Both were cooked perfectly and very tasty . My husband never eats all his vegetables but he ate every bite .

Came in after a rainy day at the museum and it was a great experience with our friendly and knowledgeable waiter! He gave really yummy recommendations. Plus there was no strict dress code. Drink: the No-Name (gin, lime juice, Prosecco) which was so refreshing and perfect- not too sweet or tart. Appetizers: all beef meatballs with marinara sauce & garlic bread. Pro tip: dip the garlic bread into the marinara sauce for warm, delicious hugs with each bite. Literally melted in your mouth! Entree: half chicken & vegetables. Chicken was very moist and flavorful. I thought it wasn't going to fill me up but I was pleasantly surprised with how stuffed I was afterwards. The vegetables weren't anything special though. Dessert: tiramisu. Probably the best tiramisu I've had in a long time! Huge portion, I wish I could've taken it home with me

    Salad was tasty. Great choice.

Location was perfect, pricing was good, staff was great, and the food was delicious. I love the fact of being able to get a simple, healthy, and delicious meal. The rotisserie chicken was perfect and I'll definitely be back. Don't miss this treat.

    Spaghetti and Meatball

Food is not good. Especially at the price point. Ordered the Rigatoni Bolognese yesterday. The sauce was bland and pasta overcooked. The service was ok. Ambiance was quaint and quiet with dim lighting, occasional distraction of the servers (locals) loudly talking out in the dining area. This type of distraction could have been avoided if they would have done this behind the kitchen door and away from the diners trying to enjoy their meals in peace. Today I gave them a second chance and ordered takeout thespaghetti and meatball. I figured "that's a dish you can't mess up". I was wrong. I couldn't finish it. Meatballs were soggy and fall apart. And the sauce, again bland, maybe even more so compared to yesterday. Thankfully I didn't have to pay for it since the hotel comps it. But I do not recommend this place to anyone paying out of pocket.

This restaurant is on the first level of the Double Tree. We were staying here for a work event during Art Basel, so you can imagine that the whole area was busy. I had the wedge salad with salmon. It hit the spot. The dressing was tasty and surprisingly I woke up thinking of how much I enjoyed it. We sat outside were it was not as loud. Inside the restaurant it was a bit louder than what we were looking for. The outdoor seating sits along the valet parking area, however when seated you don't even notice the valet taking place. I tried aperol spritz. Aston can see in the photo, it was way to orange and tasted like cough medicine. Joshua our waiter took it back immediately. Joshua was efficient. Everyone at the table enjoyed their food. The two that ordered the lasagna really enjoyed it. One person had been here before and came back specifically for the lasagna. Enjoy!

For a restaurant located inside a DoubleTree hotel, the food wasn't that bad. The pasta was al dente, although not all the pasta was boiled the same. I entered from the hotel lobby, but you can also access the restaurant from the mall. The restroom is just to the left side of the bar. There is only one toilet. The inside of this restaurant is very small and dark. They have some bar seating. The tables outside are more spacious. I got the rigatoni bolognese for lunch. It was mid. Can't say I will be back.

Loved my experience here! The warm bread to start was great. The server was knowledgeable and attentive. I ordered the special, which was a chicken parm with prosciutto on top and wow! The amount of freshly shaved prosciutto on top of the chicken was huge! I loved it, and it was affordable. Will be back.

Food was fresh and delicious! Service was quick and staff were friendly. Nice indoor and outdoor space to eat!

Drinks from the bar are very good. We had a few Smokey old fashions.

Amazing restaurant. Everything was fresh and amazing. The entire team treated us like family. The meatballs are truly amazing and it brought me back to my grandmothers kitchen years ago. Every dish was great. Dessert was also fresh and tasty in every way. Love this place. Add it to your list to come and visit so you can have the same experience.

Stopped by Primos today and I was pleasantly surprised by the food! The place inside looks really nice however we sit outside since we were in gym clothes. Our server brought us the menu right away and on the weekends they have available the Brunch menu and the Dinner menu. We were starving so decided to order from the dinner menu. Our server brought bread and it was delicious! For our entrees, we ordered the Lasagna which was really compact and the bolognese sauce was incredible. Also, we ordered the Fettuccini Alfredo and I haven't had a really good Alfredo sauce in a long time. It wasn't only cream but it had a seasoning base that added more flavor to the dish. Both dishes were a really good sizes!

    Excellent Duck Pappadelle!

It was a bakery for many, many years, even after I left Miami Beach, when I'd come visit, I made sure to get a pastelito de carne with an orange juice and then one day; the bakery was gone and Pane e Vino was here in its place. As illogical as it may be, I held resentment towards Pane e Vino because of this. I'd grumble and scowl when I'd walk by until one day I saw a man making fresh pasta at the window. Yes, this piqued my interest. I then looked at the menu, and I saw a lot of wonderful variety, but mostly that their pasta is made fresh so it occurred to me that in this instance perhaps one legendary establishment can become another one in this place, and I decided I needed to give this restaurant a chance. I have some friends who join me often when I go to Miami Beach and so we ordered a bunch of dishes to share. I'm really glad we had our waitress Pilar steer us in the right direction. I love truffle anything and she highly recommended the truffle arancini. I'm soooo glad we got it, and that was probably one of my favorite things to eat ever. I have never had such creamy polenta in my life. the truffle and cheese in this was enough to almost bring me to tears. This is how great food is done. Even the salad and the simple dressing was amazing, really fresh and delicious. We tried three different pasta dishes, but my favorite without a doubt was the lamb ragu. This dish was everything. The lamb was so tender and flavorful. You know that lamb will sometimes have a gamey flavor? Not this dish. My second favorite pasta dish was the truffle ravioli. It's not like a truffle infused oil or salt they used, its actual shaved truffle, so delicious. The bread, the good quality olive oil, everything was fantastic. Even though my beloved bakery belongs to the past; in its place is now another magnificent establishment that I will look forward to visiting whenever I'm in Miami Beach.

Unfortunately, the illusion fades rather quickly. The first sign of trouble arrives with the server sporting a rather impressive lip piercing, followed closely by a colleague whose diamond nose stud could probably be seen from space. Not exactly the ambiance one expects when aiming for "elegant." Despite the abundance of servers floating around the dining room, none seem to notice when your knife dramatically dives off the table and lands on the floor -- where it enjoys a long, lonely stay. Water service is also quite innovative: they simply leave the entire bottle at the table, which seems less about generosity and more about avoiding the inconvenience of returning to refill your glass. The food? Sadly just as uninspired. From the octopus to the $68 Milanese, every dish managed the impressive feat of being completely flavorless. The Milanese arrived with a beautiful crust, which raised hopes... until you realized there was no sauce, no garnish, and nothing to rescue what turned out to be a remarkably bland plate. Meanwhile, the staff appears deeply committed to minimizing effort -- though not shy about judging you directly when the tip doesn't meet their expectations. All in all, this place feels like fine dining in costume. Perhaps a return to the basics of hospitality and service would be a good start... followed by a serious conversation with whoever is currently in the kitchen. Good luck to anyone brave enough to give it a try.

They checked in with us just enough. Price: If you have drinks, apps, entree, and dessert expect to spend around $300 or more. Portions: Not the largest portions for "family size" but if it's just two it may be filling enough because they give you bread, cheese, cured meats, and pickled cauliflower for the appetizers. THE FOOD The food itself wasn't the problem- the value was. Charging nearly $200 for a 2.5-pound lobster and serving what appeared to be no more than 10 ounces of meat is unacceptable. I've ordered lobster countless times, and this was nowhere close to what should come from a lobster of that size. It honestly felt like a bait-and-switch. At Carbone's prices and reputation, I expected transparency and quality, not to leave wondering if I had just paid hundreds of dollars for an empty shell. It completely overshadowed the rest of the meal and left a terrible impression. THE SERVICE Our wait staff was excellent- friendly, attentive, and professional throughout the evening. When I raised my concern about the lobster, however, there wasn't a meaningful solution offered. The manager did bring out complimentary meatballs and two slices of cake, which was appreciated, but it didn't address the actual issue. I requested the veal entrée (about $125) as a gesture of goodwill, but that request was denied. I left feeling that my concerns were acknowledged but not truly resolved. THE VIBE The ambiance is everything you'd expect from Carbone- stylish, energetic, and full of old-school charm. It's a beautiful restaurant with a lively atmosphere, making it a great place for a special occasion. Ultimately, the atmosphere and attentive wait staff weren't enough to make up for what felt like poor value and an unsatisfactory resolution to a legitimate concern. At this level of dining, guests should leave feeling impressed--not questioning whether they received what they paid for. Our total bill was close to $1000. UNACCEPTABLE.
