I have been going to Julie at Primp Salon for about 6 months now. I was referred by a coworker, and I was really hesitant as a male to get my hair cut at an actual "beauty salon" rather than my usual $11 haircut next to my house. I was surprised how comfortable I felt at the salon with all women. The salon has a great energy and all the stylist are really nice. I love the way Julie cuts my hair because I have always been very self conscious about the way my hair looks and she makes me feel like I actually have a cool hairstyle. I reached out to Julie on Memorial Day weekend. She got back to me just a few hours after I reached out, which in and of itself said a lot about her dedication to her work! I showed up with a "balayage oopsie", and left with even, beautiful corrected color. Julie was thorough, kind and professional. I LOVE THIS PLACE!!! The salon is adorable first off and the environment is comfortable and friendly. I first went to Julie and I didn't know what I wanted just that I wanted to go lighter for summer but I have an olive tone so blonde is not usually my go to. I just gave her the reigns without direction and she knew exactly what went with my skin, face, everything!!! I was sooo impressed. The second time I went, I saw Sarah (I believe that is her name). I needed to be seen as soon as possible because I was going to a wedding and I waited until the last minute (bad on my part). But they squeezed me in at 8PM!!! I thought that was so late for her and I felt bad, but she was happy to help me. I wanted something darker and different than the light hair I had and once again, no direction and she nailed it. Then this last time I went, I saw Terri. This time I wanted something edgy and wanted Fire Engine Red and Dark Brown or Black and I took in a picture. She exceeded the Picture quality. I LOVED IT! And the Haircut was amazing. My favorite haircut yet. It was just cut perfectly and layered and just overall wonderful. Stephanie (the owner) calls me back in a timely manner when I call to schedule and she is always so friendly. The prices aren't so bad either Especially for a cut and color. Primp is hands down the best salon! My hair stylist, Teri, has been doing my hair for the last 5 years, color, cut and keratin treatments. And when she washes my hair, I have to say, her head massages are like a little slice of heaven. I always walk out of the salon looking and feeling like a million bucks. Just got my hair done on Tuesday this week and my husband came home and repeated 5 times how much he liked it.... I think his exact words as walking in the door were "ooooo... sexy!" She colored my hair two shades darker than my normal color (by request) and gave me the cutest layered long hair cut. I even had my senior vice president at work (who is a major fasionista) tell me three times on Wednesday how much she liked it.
