The bar area was so nice- each chair had its own purse hook, plus a few power outlets scattered around for patron use. The personal lights on the other tables made a perfect ambiance. It was classy & exclusive- yet not "too fancy". (My husband wore jeans and a decent shirt, & I wore a cheap Shein dress" Most importantly- You can tell the chef has a high level of culinary experience. All of the entrees sounded SO good, and the food we finally decided on was delicious! I (personally) don't like beets, so I didn't love the duck dish my husband raved about, but everything else we got, I could've eaten ten fold. 10/10. Absolutely outstanding! Excellence in customer service is extremely rare these days but Primrose has it mastered. Called to make the reservation for a party of 10-12 for a birthday dinner. From the time of making the reservation to walking out the door from dinner, everything was amazing. Be sure to review the menu on their website rather than pictures because it changes. This is not a chain so the chef determines what the menu will be which is perfect when you want variety and options. Such attention to detail and personable experience. Most of our group had either Woodford Steak Tips, Chicken Schnitzel or burgers. There was not a single person who didn't enjoy their food. Perfectly seasoned and portioned. Even the kids were full and happy. Tried the peach cobbler for dessert and it DID NOT disappoint. What a beautiful night! My partner and I went here to celebrate our anniversary. We called ahead and got reservations. The Cornbread Panzanella was absolutely one of the best salads I've ever had. The deviled eggs are unique and flavorful. The Chicken Milanese (partners choice) was crispy and full of spices. It was also yummy the next day too. I had a hard time ordering serval of the dishes had cinnamon items and they do an excellent job of pairing the items together. I finally settled on Woodford Steak Tips excellent dish obviously a bit heavy. Also good leftovers! We came here to celebrate my husband's birthday but so disappointed with the ambiance and food quality--service was good. I know it's minimal, but charging an extra fee for using a credit card just leaves a bad taste in my mouth. The pork potato skin was highly recommended and it was OK. My blue cheese salad was too overpowering and we did not enjoy it at all. My shrimp & grit was OK, nothing special. My son's salmon was a little too fishy and the sweet potato puree did not help at all. My husband's steak was probably the better tasting one but it came medium instead of medium rare he ordered. Me and the girls came here on a Saturday nite and we made reservations for 4 at 530pm. It was a pretty busy typical Saturday. I subtracted one star bc of just how slow the service was. Our server was awesome and attentive but how long it took to get our foods and cocktail is why i took off a star. It took forever to get our food and especially our drinks from the bar. I ordered the trout and it was beautifully presented, the flavor was good and light. I cleaned my plate and i didn't even offer anyone if they wanted to try it lol. What a nice settings this place is to Murfreesboro. Why didn't I come here sooner? Maybe It was a bit tucked away from the busy and hustles of medical center pkwy. This place was intimate and family welcoming. I was generous full. I couldn't finish my rib eyes. On that I was probably full off of appetizers. I enjoy their fresh baked bread. It was fluffy, soft, freshly herbs smells of the bread was so good. Dining experience was nice. definitely weren't rushing but some items took a bit of time coming out. After hearing raving reviews from friends, my boyfriend and I came here for date night. Nothing we tried really stood out to me :( First, we ordered the Korean BBQ Potato Skins. For an appetizer, the potato skins were wayyy too big. It was difficult to get one bite with every component. There were too many flavors going on, which muffled the Korean BBQ flavor I expected. Disappointed! The Chicken en Croute was a deconstructed version of the real dish. The mashed potatoes, brussels, and chicken were nothing special. The gravy was too salty and the sausage tart didn't really belong in the mix. Again, disappointed. The two things I did enjoy were the Striped Bass and Creme Brûlée. The fish was fresh, and the tarragon beurre blanc sauce was unique and tasty! The creme brûlée was the star of the show and got devoured before I could get a picture. The entree came out pretty quick. At first glance it looked pretty good. My wife's Mahi had too much sauce and was over salted. The risotto was soupy and not properly cooked. The menu is different than what we would typically eat but we couldn't have been happier with our choices! His steak tips were perfectly cooked, my pork chops were so juicy! The risotto leaves a little to be desired flavor wise, BUT this was my first time ever having risotto, so that might just be normal and I just found out I don't like risotto. I came here for a date night and made a reservation online. I had to change the time of the reservation so I called the restaurant and spoke to someone who said it would taken care of. However, when we arrived, they could not find either reservation of mine. They said they had a new online reservation system, but that doesn't explain why the person who answered the phone didn't create one for me. They seated 3 parties before us who might've had reservations, but I would've appreciated better communication instead of having us awkwardly standing around. Our server liked to talk, but he was very good. I ordered a margarita; fiancé ordered a Manhattan. We thoroughly enjoyed both. For an appetizer, we ordered the Char Grilled Lamb Chops. I was hesitant at first, but so glad we tried them. They were delicious. We wanted to gnaw on the bones! Entrees: I had the filet, medium rare with mashed potatoes and sweet corn risotto. My fiancé ordered the pork chop with potatoes and kale. The risotto and the kale were just ok. Probably won't order them again. My steak is going in the books as the best steak I've ever had! The potatoes were still a little hard, but I did like the green dressing they had on top of it. Nice atmosphere. It was nice to try a new spot in town but probably won't return. The food, atmosphere and service were all exceptional when I visited last Saturday. It's been on my list of places to try since a Nashville Eater article came out proclaiming it to be Murfreesboro's first (and desperately needed!) chef-driven restaurant. I started with shared lamb shanks (or lamb lollipops - forget what they call them on the menu), they're easily some of the best I've ever had. Melt in your moth tenderness with every bite. Getting 2 orders next time... Also put in an order of the stuffed potatoes, which were also amazing. I split the panzanella​ salad and it was also solid - the sprouts were crispy and delicious, and they paired well with the rest of the fruits/veggies (which I could tell were freshly harvested). I got the recommended house dressing and it tied everything together nicely. For my main course I got the roasted chicken and my friend got the shrimp linguinie. Both were amazing and generous portions. The chicken was slightly crispy on the skin and the meat was juicy. The linguine - rich and packed a lot of flavor. My ONLY complaint is that our drinks took several minutes to come out, but the bar was slammed with orders so I can't knock them for that. Otherwise a good beer and wine selection. An outstanding experience! We have a mix of gluten and dairy restrictions with a few with no dietary restrictions (so far). Primrose Table had APPETIZERS and entrees that worked for everyone.
