A beautiful new edition to the downtown area. Go with a group so you can share the experience. Go hungry as you will not leave hungry. We had three people. We received two types of one protein. Any amount of sides! Be brave and try something new. We tried the beef and shrimp. Everything was delicious. And cooking is a lot of fun. The blue raider sushi roll was excellent.

we went post lunch around 3 and the restaurant was dead. very clean restaurant and the open space was surprising but nice. I can imagine it gets really loud when it's busy! our server was excellent, she was super sweet and helpful. I ordered sushi (disco roll) and it was good but there was LOTs of sauce on it which made the roll a little overpowering and too salty. for $16 a roll, I may try something else next time. I am excited to come back!

My family and I had a genuinely grand visit at Fire Korean BBQ today. A big shout out to Heather our server for making our experience great. She did a great job explaining how everything worked. I truly appreciate her advice on trying all the Bantan dishes. There were about ten options. Most were good, some much tastier than others, but 5 got call backs for seconds. The protein options that we picked were all great. We had beef bulgogi, spicy bulgogi, Hawaiian bulgogi, pork bulgogi, spicy pork and spicy shrimp. Your party is allowed two protein choices within any given meat category each round you order. The food is packed with flavor. This KBBQ is all you can eat with a two hour limit. The ambiance is casual and quaint. Reservation can be made but are not required.

This was great! Came on a Saturday night so it was pretty busy. We sat at the bar and service was good. My friend and I both ordered the chicken bibimbap, which was great! The chicken was perfectly cooked, I enjoyed the rice with some crunchy pieces at the bottom, and there was a variety of toppings. It was nice to have a few different dipping sauces to try too. Would be a nice place to go on a date.

This was our first time here and we were celebrating our anniversary. The food was amazing we did the unlimited and everything we ate was so delicous and had so much flavor. Definitely worth giving a try and we will be back. The service was great as well our server to great care of us. It's very nice and kept clean as well.

This isn't your authentic AYCE Korean bbq. You are only allowed to 2 meat choice at a time . We had 4 ppl and each meat choice we got we only got 2-3 slice per order. Example if we order galbi we only got 2 slices for 4 ppl. You can't mix up your meat order from pork, beef or seafood . It's one at a time. For the sides... you are limit to 3 per order . WTF! The worse Korean bbq experience I ever had. This is not authentic this is more an Americanize than any authentic Korean bbq . Go to Arisu if u don't wanna drive to one in Nolensville . It's by far way better than this place. Took 20mims to get our first 2 order of meat choice out. Smh Only thing good was their LA galbi . Their spicy pork Bulgogi. And pork belly was sour. The ribeye was cut so thin it felt like a flank steak.

I'm not sure why there are so many 1 stars for service. Maybe things change but there were some about a month ago and one in particular 9 days ago. I can tell you, the 9 days ago is a fake review judging by the picture of the server. That was not cute or funny. Some of us really want to help the owner be a better restaurant by providing honest reviews. Now, as for the food, it is hands down good! I was stationed in Korea and the "banchan" (sides) are typical. They come cold. If you want them hot put them in the grill. This was our first time at the restaurant and had no issues with wait time or service. As a matter of fact Alana (I hope I spelled her name right) was the best by far server we've had since moving here to Tennessee. That says a lot as you can clearly see we have tried many restaurants by my profile. She was quick, friendly, explained everything to my husband (because he has never been to a Korean bbq before). She gave us recommendations and was very engaging. She frequently checked on us and asked if we were ready for another round of "all you can eat". I prefer the beef when it comes to Korean cuisine but we tried the pork. Although it was just as tasty as the beef, even my husband preferred the beef. My tips: if there's just two of you ask for an extra plate for the cooked meat. Of course it was way too much just for my husband and I (because we really don't eat a lot) but we had to give it a try. Along with the all you can eat I ordered the Sashimi Tuna and Salmon! They actually know the difference between sashimi and sushi!!! Let me say this: the tuna and salmon were mouth watering! Cut a perfect size and very delicious! If you haven't tried Korean bbq I recommend Fire Korean BBQ on the Square at the Boro. My husband is hard to please but when he says something is tasty, it's a 5 out of 5! He was impressed with the amount of food, the quality and taste, and most of all the fried rice! He said this is the best fried rice I've had! Bravo to the chef's!!! Why didn't I give it a 5 star? Well, the music wasn't our preference and a bit too loud. We had to ask Alana to repeat what she said because of the music. In fairness, Alana has one of those voices that she's soft spoken but she was talking loud enough for us to hear, but the music drowned her out from time to time. Another thing that I noticed, majority of the TVs were playing some kind of sports. I felt it was trying to be a "sports bar" than a Korean bbq restaurant. There were two (I believe) tvs that were playing some type of nature channel. But it's just preference right? You can't please everyone. We will be back and now we have choices of Korean food in the Boro! It was a pleasant experience and boy oh boy! We were stuffed! Had to walk around the square after we ate! Well done staff! The owner should be proud!

This place is a disgrace to society me and my family went there. We had a reservation and we arrive 30 minutes early. We gave it a solid 15 minutes before walking into the door when we asked the table was already booked out with 17 people we talked to a worker there and she said to get the manager, but the manager never showed their face. We waited for a solid hour before anything happened and nothing was happened so we decided to go to another restaurant. We asked the customer about how their food was and they said absolutely amazing then we saw them throwing up. We also saw a mouse run by and he puked

Loaded Bulgogi Fries. Sorry, they were half eaten before taking the photo.

Recently added to the Murfreesboro Square dining options. Clean and well laid out open design, TVs on the walls with comfortable booths or chairs and tables. Fire offers Sushi, BBQ/Grill & various Korean selections. We had the fries and rolls only today. Fries were amazing! House manager, Teresa, recommended them topped with spicy chicken next time around. Our server Ben was very helpful with roll suggestions and knowledge of their products. Will try bbq/grill next time the table 2 over had it and it smelled amazing. 2 tips, Mondays are half price rolls and the second is just a FYI, your clothes will carry the aroma with you if there are a lot of grills going. Not a bad thing just if you have something afterwards be aware. Definitely would recommend if you're in the mood for a Korean fusion meal. Delicious.

Great food and atmosphere. Go see Marcus at the bar. You won't be disappointed. Bulgogi sushi roll is on point.

-Got beef, pork, and Hawaiian bulgogi & pork belly- all were really good - well marinated -Price was great for KBBQ cheaper than some of the competitors in mboro- about $38pp for dinner. -All the aesthetic chill vibes - great location. They also have vents in the floor so the smoke stays under control which is cool. Awesome meats, awesome sides, and Mario was an awesome server! Everyone was super nice and attentive. 10/10 would recommend Will defo be back

It was my family's first time coming here and we had an amazing time our waitress was amazing she gave us great option for sushi since we don't really eat it and it was really good ! We did get the all you can eat dinner and a kids bowl (didn't get a picture ) but my 5 year old ate all of it ! We also enjoyed the vibe of the place very hip.

The burger was perfectly cooked and had enough lettuce that the fresh crunch came through. Joanie's Magic Sauce was served on the side. It was good with the burger but not the fries. This was my first trip here and I can recommend it. The burger was better than average. I'd give it a 7.8 out of 10. Other than the moldy smell, I can recommend it. The condiments are in small packets on a wall, which I didn't care for, but not the end of the world.

This place has been on my list for several months now so I stopped at the Buona in Murfreesboro on…read morethe way home from Cookeville. To give them a fair shake at a comparison to Chicago, I ordered two iconic Chicago staples, an Italian Beef and a Chicago Dog. First the beef, I ordered it with hot giardiniera and dipped. The beef was tender, flavorful and the peppers packed a pleasant heat. The bread was sturdy had a good flavor as well. Considering we are outside of Chicago, I'd go 4.5 stars. The Chicago dog looked and tasted legit complete with the neon green relish. For the dog I'd also go 4.5 stars. Seems like Murfreesboro might be sleeping on this great spot cause I was there at 6:30 on a Sunday evening and it wasn't packed. Highly recommend this spot when you are in the Boro to get your Chicago fix, it deserves our support!

Be prepared to read a magazine article length review of this establishment. Usually I do not review…read morechain or franchise restaurants, but this was so good, I made an exception. I was intrigued by a mail brochure, then their video. I like the place VERY much. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is because I reserve those for Italian restaurants with table cloths, vino, attentive waiters and opera playing in the back ground. It is based on FOUR visits because I liked it so much and did not want to give an incomplete review. First will be a detailed list of the dishes we tried and then I will get o ambiance and service at the very end. Here goes the food review first. Chicago Hot Dog. I'm not from Chicago and only know the signature food by reputation but my wife and I were impressed. The bun was very good with the poppy seed on the outside. Holding its own was a nice hot dog through the additional dressings. I ordered mine with the hot gardenia. It was delicious but instead of a vinegar base, it was a nice olive oil. French Fries Our family recognizes my wife as our resident expert on quality fries. She rated these as among the best she has ever eaten. I agreed with her that that they were crispy outside and fluffy inside. She added comments that they held up on the plate as she ate. Being crinkle cut, those fries tend to get soggy, but these retained their crispness through out. Chicago Beef Visiting their website you will see how they prepare their beef for meal. My wife indicated that it was fairly standard, but I drew me in. Admittedly, I have only tried a few of this type of sandwich. The things I liked about it was that it was juicy without soaking the roll and plate. It also had a nice flavor. Pasta On the wall in the store is a sign advertising that the pasta is fresh, never dried and that peaked my interest. Signature Rigatoni Marinara was the menu Item I chose and felt like it was one of the best pasta dishes I have ever enjoyed. Thin, long pastas are classified by a number indicating their thickness. I could not find such a classification for rigatoni. While I may be a bit of an engineer, I studied the wall thickness of this pasta. Compared to what I buy in the grocery store, this had a thicker wall. It is important because the pasta was cooked al dente. The mouth feel of the thicker pasta and feel to the tooth was great. Do not feel I am discounting the sauce, but it was one of the best I think southern Italy would offer. Brownie On a whim, I grabbed a brownie because my wife did not want to stop at a candy store for me to get chocolate to go with my bourbon at home. It was light in texture, but incredibly full of quality chocolate flavor. It was great taste for taste, sip for sip. Beef and Gardenia Pizza Our fourth visit to justify my rating was with my wife, adult son and I. Surprisingly, she ordered the pizza choice because it was unique, Neither of us had gardenia on a pizza. Their Tavern Pizza is 10" and cut checkerboard style, not wedges, which was fine by us. The one pizza was enough for my wife and I. We both agreed that the Marinara sauce was the same as on the pasta. The pie was loaded with toppings. In fact, it was hard to get a true taste of the crust. It was also so loaded that she commented that it was a good thing we ate in the dining room instead of taking it home. If we took it home, she suggested, the copious toppings would totally soak the crust. Gardenia served here is in olive oil, not vinegar. As such, it gave a nice flavor to the pie. I thought my wife ordered extra cheese, but, no. That thick blanket is standard. The blend of toppings was just wonderful and the gardenia was just spicy enough. Margherita Pizza All pizza restaurants are judged by their Margherita pizza as far as my son goes. This pie was not traditional, so he simply gave it a "good" evaluation. He would rather get this pizza at other restaurants, but if he came back here, he would order it. Among his comments were that normally tomato slices were on the pizza, but this one had the diced tomatoes in this. Also, all the basil, while tasty was just piled up in the center instead of strewn all over the top. Now for service and ambiance. Of my trips, I was there a few times shortly after they opened for the day and once during a very busy time. Both times, the meal came out in a timely basis and the meals very fresh. On one trip, I ordered beer. The counter person was underage, and left to find a manager to complete the order. She was not clear in diction and we did not know why she left, but it was O Being new, it was very clean. Ambiance is very bright and well lit. Large windows give a good view of the area. Promotional signs and posters are informative and appropriate.

They did NOT disappoint!! I am officially hooked! From the moment we walked in, I could see and feel the sheer energy coming from the crowd and the ambiance: it already felt like great food and great people. It was packed to the brim for Wine Wednesday! They had one table available for two! Our server, Sarah, was outstanding!! She was sweeter than pie and extremely attentive! She always made sure we had exactly what we wanted when we wanted it. She advised sharing a bottle of wine since we wanted the same one, and since it was half price most wines. The young manager on duty delivered and uncorked the bottle, and she was just as sweet as Sarah! Her name escapes me, but I will find out the next time I go. The Spanish Tempranillo we tried was divine! It was perfectly balanced without being too dry or too tannic or too sweet. It was so smooth and thoroughly enjoyable to drink! For food, we started with the goat cheese bruschetta. It was perfection - rich in flavor and well balanced in the distribution of each component! From there, we tried the special of Steak Tips Au Pauvre - with a peppercorn wine sauce. We chose brussels sprouts as our side, and it also came with a side salad. We weren't too hungry, so we split it. Sarah even had the kitchen split both the salad and the main dish in half for us! The salad was so fresh (with ripe grape tomatoes!!) and the ranch dressing was classic and delightful. The wine sauce was everything I wanted it to be: rich, complex, thick, and buttery. It reminded me of the beautiful sauces you find on a steak or chicken dish at a sidewalk cafe in Paris. The dessert menu looked amazing, but we didn't have any room left. All I can say is you MUST try this place!!! If you can find Sarah, even better!
