The service is also very attentive and helpful when it comes to suggestions if you are indecisive. I always order the brown sugar boba crepe cake, it's light, airy, and involved. The process of having to add the boba and the milk cream on top is always a great photo op. The brûlée'd part of the crepe is actually my favorite and the fact that it's sweet and salty as well. If savory is what you are after I really love their salt and pepper chicken. It's tender and well seasoned, I do wish it came with a sauce but beggers can't be choosers. I've been here a few times now and love the ambiance inside. I usually go here during the afternoon on the weekdays and have not experienced any waiting time. I've also had my share in food and drinks. No matter what type of tea you get, you're able to adjust the sugar level. One of the teas I had the was the rose black tea with milk foam and at 50%, I found it to be just right (still sweet but not overbearingly sweet). The twister fries and the salty crispy chicken were decent. For the most part, the teas and milk teas have a decent amount of selections to choose from. Apart from the rose black tea, I always get the Rose Lover Milk Tea with 50% sugar to the regular amount and it is just perfect every time. Other ones, like slushies, can be a hit or a miss. Unfortunately, the mango slush I ordered was a total miss. It basically tasted like mango syrup and ice, similar to the ones that you would taste at local bubble tea shops. I was a bit disappointed with this drink due to the heavy syrup aftertaste. I did see a mango / strawberry yogurt drink with milk foam on a separate menu so I will most likely give that one a try in the near future. The cheesecake from Prince Tea House was good, but please be reminded that it is not a New York style one. Nothing wrong with that! I also had the waffle with nutella, strawberries, and green tea ice cream and it tasted pretty standard. Just wish it was a tad more crispy on the outside. The Fruit Toast was nice and soft on the inside and was topped with whipped cream, vanilla ice cream, and contained fruits such as strawberries, bananas, and mangoes. The crust, on the other hand, was tough and a bit hard to chew. Overall, I enjoyed the different teas that I've ordered throughout my visits. I did find the prices for the food and drinks to be on the pricier side for the amount that they gave. We came here on a Saturday afternoon. It was fairly crowded when we arrived. We waited about 10 minutes before we were seated, but afterwards, there was a long line out the door. We ordered the rose green milk tea and their potted lavender green milk tea. They served us quickly (~10 minutes), considering how packed the place was when we came. I love the presentation of both drinks, especially the potted lavender green milk tea. It was so cute! The drink was sitting underneath mint leaves, a layer of crumbled Oreo cookies, and another layer of white foam. The team itself is very refreshing. I tend to go for drinks that are not overly sweet, and this one was right in between. The rose green milk tea was quite good as well. The smell of the rose was quite strong. This is an updated review for when indoor was allowed for very brief time. Due to a previous experience I had stayed away from this location for a very long time even though I eat around Flushing area quite often. The most recent experiences were during the pandemic. The seating capacity at time of my visit was 25% indoor for restaurants in NYC. Previously the options for most places was outdoor only with take out and / or delivery. I arrived on a somewhat busy weeknight and was told the wait would be at least 20 mins to a half hour. Since the seating capacity for the establishment was 25% and the table spacing requirements for at least 6 feet only certain tables were available. They were following protocol and the wait was not too bad. I submitted my contact info on the wait list and was told I would get a call at when a table opened up. In a little over 20 mins I was called and told a table would be opening up very soon. When I returned to the tea house my temperature was taken and I had to fill out contact tracing information (the protocol set in place when indoor dining was allowed again). For my first visit back, I went with a California Club Sandwich with extra Turkey (main ingredient is lobster), potted plant milk tea and the boba Crêpe cake. The sandwich was all right. The drink was made very well and has quite a unique presentation. Since it is in a glass you can see the layers and it looks like a potted plant since they use Oreo crumbs. The Crêpe cake was quite good and was the main reason for the visit. The actual crêpe cake is more like a créme brûlée and you get a side of tapioca balls (same that is used for the Taiwanese milk tea drinks) and condensed milk topping. You pour the milk over the cake and the pour the boba (tapioca over everything. On another visit I got the fruit waffle, toast and green tea crêpe cake. The menu items seem at a higher price point but are very good quality in both taste and presentation. Alex, who was also the host, was very on point whenever he is working. He always greets and checks in on all the customers to make sure everything's all right. If the wait is excessive he is very good about letting people know and calling back if your name is on the list. Whenever I have to go orders, they are always brought out in a timely manner. Some other employees gave a different experience.... I had gone back a couple of times after the initial visit and it was busier. One occasion there was a young lady who was prepping orders and told me that there was no eta on an open table and did not even offer to have me submit any contact information. Mind you, it was a little after 8p and last call was 930p. I asked if I could put my name on the waiting list and that is when she brought it out. I stayed nearby and saw a few people leave a short time after but received no call. I had to go back in and ask if there was a table. Another employee made a table ready for me. I felt as if they just wanted to not have anyone eat in during that visit. Indoor dining was banned again after my visits and this location still offers take out options. read more
