First time coming here after the remodel. There's a fresh new look but I do miss the charm of the old decor. Thankfully all the food and drinks are the same quality as usual. The rose lover milk tea is always top tier and offers a nice serving size. I was excited to try their new menu item - the Earl Grey crepe cake - super strong tea flavor, just what I like. Glad to have a new flavor in my rotation. I also enjoyed their classic New York cheesecake. It tastes everything but classic to me. It has a nice citrusy flavor which I love. Overall great vibes, service, and food.
Very lovely ambiance - lots of floral themes and soft pink coquette vibes. I love the tea set that the tea comes in, the candle keeps the tea warm so there's no rush to drink it all in one go. Also T he strawberry matchamisu is good! It's a nice Asian twist on the classic tiramisu. Service is good - would come back!
AFTERNOON TEA... Went to this charming, visually appealing, elegant place as a treat from our son to celebrate Mother's Day for my wife, and certainly my son made an amazing choice. Looking for a parking space was really a challenge. The YELP-worthy decor indoor was marvelous. Ambiance was beyond pleasing with a tranquil atmosphere. They keep the place very clean and immaculate. They offer an extensive selection of teas and desserts, and delicious afternoon tea sets, making it a very good choice for casual meetups and special occasions. The staff offered a very friendly service and prices were fair. My wife and son have extremely enjoyed their flavorful tea and their assorted mini pastries. The afternoon tea experience was definitely enjoyable even though it was not a traditional English one. The beautifully presented mini pastries and scones were delicious. The pastries themselves are a feast for the eyes, with different delicate shapes. This place is certainly recommendable and appropriate for impressing a date, a mother, relatives and friends.
My girlfriend comes here for the desserts and milk tea, but I come here for the savory fried foods! I especially love coming here after a light dinner and still want to eat some snacks. The service is good and it has a cozy atmosphere. My go to appetizers are the Twister Fries, Salted Crispy Chicken, and Fried Squid Tails. We also had the Fried Shrimp Lollipops and Santa Fe Chicken Rolls in the past, and they were delicious as well. I highly recommend this place.
Let's all of your Bridgerton dreams come true and have a spot of tea when you come to this place! The ambiance is so cool, the setting instantly teleports you to 19th century England and places you in a cool and calm mind space. I ordered both a hot drink and a cold one and was equally satisfied with both. I love that they have snack food but also sandwiches and things where you could actually make it an entire meal if you choose. The staff was very thoughtful and check in a couple of times to see if we needed anything. Of course, don't forget to get some pics while you're here as the decor is just beautiful to do so!
This dessert spot is so cute! The interior of the cafe is like high-tea and the seats are spacious. You look at the menu on a QR code and order with staff after being seated. Although I didn't find out until later, this spot offers both savory and sweet foods. When I came, I got the matcha crepe cake and the rose milk tea. Both were great. I loved how many layers the matcha crepe cake was, and the matcha flavor was strong. The rose milk tea also wasn't overwhelmingly sweet and they serve it to you in a tea pot over fire, so it stays warm (and I thought that it was super cute!). Would definitely come back.
This was our first time visiting, and I'd say we'll definitely be back! The ambiance was beautiful, with stylish decor and high ceilings that make it perfect for photos. The staff truly stood out--everyone was well-mannered, helpful, and attentive. They made excellent dish recommendations and went out of their way to accommodate us, even offering my toddler her own "cup" to drink water alongside us since the tea was caffeinated. Their kindness and thoughtfulness didn't go unnoticed. We tried the rose and lavender milk teas, both of which were cozy and delicious. The presentation of each dessert was stunning, and the flavors matched the aesthetic. The ice cream was rich and creamy, while the green tea dessert was perfectly light and not overly sweet. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I can't wait to return to try more of the menu! Highly recommend for the great food, amazing service, and Instagram-worthy atmosphere.
My go to cafe/dessert spot in flushing. Love their hot potted milk tea and their afternoon tea. Their pricing for afternoon tea is very good given you can get unlimited refills of your potted tea as well!! I actually had my bachelorette party here as well. The staff was very helpful through the planning process. There is a spending min to reserve for a party but you can order in advance so you don't have to worry about what to order the day of the party. The staff even help with some furniture rearrangement which I am really grateful because I wanted all my friends to be able to face each other during my bachelorette. And ambiance is always on point. They recently renovated so it looks more vibrant and bright ~
Haven't come here in a while but recently came with a girlfriend for some dessert. And to our surprise, this location has some changes/additions to their menu and location. They've had new renovations inside making the place look more high end and they've added additional desserts to their menu.
Super cute inside. A lot of options for dessert, would love to try tea time here next time. I would not personally recommend the Crepe cake if you've had Lady M. I think Lady M is by far better. The cake was quite heavy and usually these are supposed to be lighter. We also had fresh tea which was super nice and strong!
Ok recently been to Prince Tea House, I guess since it's been a while since I last went here, a lot of things may have changed. Their menu for one thing. Also since there wasn't as much hype now, and since I came here with friends on a rainy Wednesday night after Dinner, they weren't as busy and the place wasn't packed. So we had a nice quiet tea and dessert time and was actually able to hear ourselves talk. They were very attentive and the place was looking quite cozy and nice, or even elegant I should say. Guess it's all in the timing .
Cute place to stop by for dessert and tea. It was a dimly lit cafe and so it was great for dates or chit chatting with friends. I ordered the pot of Jasmine milk tea, a boba affogato, and a matcha creme brûlée. All of it was tasty! They serve sandwiches and other entrees as well but I only came for a sweet treat. Passed by this place a few times and finally went in! Did not make a reservation and we were immediately seated. Came here fairly full but did not realize that they had many food options! Flushing is always busy but this place wasn't too busy and I enjoyed the comfortable couches they had. We loved the milk tea flavors like rose and lavender! This is my go-to spot! The perfect place to spill the tea with your best friends while you drink the tea, wink, wink. The rose milk tea is my favorite, and the finger foods and small plate dishes are all cozy dining foods. I always have a pleasant experience here, even when it is crowded. read more

On a cold winter night, you can never go wrong with a pot of hot tea and dessert. Although the wait was long, it was totally worth it!! Had the afternoon tea with a strawberry mouse cake. The afternoon tea came with canapes, green tea crepe cake, petite sandwiches, and scones with butter. All in all, you get a sampler of their desserts and pastries. It's a good option to try a bit of everything here. The ambiance is quite cute too even though it was a small. Would totally come back here! read more

Well known tea house in Flushing (and elsewhere in NYC) and for good reason. I went more for their desserts and non-tea drinks, but still enjoyed. I ordered the Mixed Fruit Mille Crepe Cake, which was good but did not have as many layers as usual since there was more cream between each layer. This might appeal to some but I'd prefer the tighter layers personally. I also got the Fresh Mango Yogurt Smoothie, which was pretty good and yogurty. The flavor reminded me a bit of Yakult. The Summer Passion drink was more refreshing and juice-like than the smoothie. The real fruit bits in there were tasty. The prices are a bit elevated but still within reason for a nice tea house like this ($9.50 for the crepe cake and $7 for each drink). The place itself is pretty nice with marble tabletops and booth seating. There was light upbeat music playing, which was not exactly tea house vibes but good for a Friday night. The staff were friendly and the service speed was pretty quick. Overall, if you are looking for a quality tea house for tea, non-tea drinks, or dessert in downtown Flushing, then Prince Tea House would be a great option for you. read more

Prince Tea House is nestled along the hustle and bustle of the Flushing streets and is a great place to do the opposite and take it easy. We came here to escape the cold winds and rain we were caught in which made our visit that much nicer. They have a wide and overwhelming assortment of teas, as expected, you'll definitely need a minute to go through it all. We opted for G9 "Theophile" which was a green tea with lychee, mango, lotus flower notes and paired it with a green tea mille crepe cake. There are options for other desserts, sandwiches, waffles, etc., except we had just came from eating already so dessert it was! Both were delicious; truly what we wanted to end our nyc trip. The tea was brewed in a whole pot for us to share and we got 3-4 cups out of it. Also fairly priced! If I remember correctly, it was around $8-9. The ambience assumes you need to be dressed fancy because of its furniture and decor, but don't be afraid to show up casually like we did. I suggest to grab your gals or go for a cute date! read more

I had been eyeing Prince Tea House for a long time, so I was excited to try. We went on a weekday afternoon and the place was popping. The menus are QR code menus. We got the afternoon tea for two, which comes with two pots of tea, the chicken roll, and some more tea. The hot tea comes in such a cute little floral tea pot and cup. I had the rose milk tea, which is very sweet but light on the rose flavor. The green tea and oolong were excellent too, and I felt the description on the menu was accurate in terms of flavor profile. The free flow tea is refillable, free of charge. The chicken roll was crispy on the outside and creamy on the inside. It tasted like a beautiful lovechild of taquitos and egg rolls. The afternoon tea for two was also substantial for a tea service accompaniment. The scones, hot out of the oven, were delicious with the clotted cream and jam. The savory tea sandwiches were flavorful but light, not overpowering the team. The sweet pastries were delicious and very airy as well. An afternoon tea service is not cheap anywhere, so I felt the prices weren't shocking. I would love to return to Prince Tea House, and maybe visit some of their other locations as well. After having an average experience the first few times I've visited, my last visit to Prince Tea House was a positive one. Our group of 4 arrived around 9pm on a Saturday and the place was filled as we expected. Luckily a table opened up and we were able to order several desserts to share. I was excited to see changes and new additions to the menu. We each ordered a beverage and some desserts to share. The green tea milli crepe cake is a classic and was light and fluffy. The coconut Panna Cotta with strawberry ice cream was refreshing and fruity. Lastly the molten lava cake with green tea ice cream was rich and paired so well together. This place was so cute! Came here with a group of friends and we're seated within 10 minutes. Had a calm relaxing ambiance. With good music and excellent service. My partner got the strawberries shortcake and loved it. Finished the whole time despite just coming from kBBQ lol. I had the brown sugar layer cake and it was delicious. Not too sweet, light and fluffy. Definitely recommend coming if you wanna have a nice place to hang with friends and eat light. There are also options for friends who do not like tea such as the mock tails. read more
I've been to Price Tea House quite a few times, but I finally decided to write a review. I've tried the twister and sweet potato fries, buffalo wings, katsu and smoked salmon sandwich, durian mille crepe cake, pate a choux, and potted plant passion fruit green tea in the past. All of these were pretty good, and I didn't have any complaints. My favorite dishes to get are the buffalo wings, smoked salmon sandwich, and the green tea ice-cream. This time, after eating dinner with my friend, we decided to get dessert at Prince Tea House. We ordered the purple yam souffle (which they told us in advance that it would take 20min to come out), and the coconut panna cotta. I enjoyed the soufflé, but the red bean ice cream it came paired with was too sweet and lacked red bean flavor. I probably would have liked it more with a different type of ice cream flavor. The panna cotta was delicious! It normally comes with strawberry ice cream, but since my friend is allergic to strawberries, I took the opportunity to swap it out for green tea ice cream. Went back! No wait this time. Server was awesome, my party sat down but then had to leave to go to a dinner reservation (he was super understanding). When we came back, he remembered us and sat us right away. We got three teas - earl grey milk tea, lavender milk tea, and pu erh tea. Although my personal pick was initially the earl grey, my favorite ended up being the lavender milk tea. I'm not usually a flowery type of person (in terms of taste preferences at least!), but this was the only tea that night that I would be eager to reorder. We also ordered three DISTINCT desserts. One was the brown sugar boba mille crepe cake. This was ordered mostly for the people in my party who hadn't tried it before, so I didn't eat too much of it (I personally would recommend only ordering this once just to try it - it's too sweet to my taste since it's brown sugar boba and popular because of the "gimmick" of putting boba on things that should have boba on it). Some people genuinely enjoy this cake, but I think it's not worth getting again and again. I was the most excited for the purple yam soufflé. When ordering, we were told it would take ~20 minutes for it to be ready, which we were fine with. The wait built up the anticipation, and while it was good, I don't think I would order it again. It was nice and warm, but I think the flavor of the purple yam could have been stronger. My personal favorite was the molten lava cake. I was surprised I liked this one that much because I've had molten lava cake before at other places and didn't think that much of it. However this molten lava cake was really hitting the spot that night - nice and warm, great cake texture with the "molten" center, and chocolate that was rich but not TOO rich. The vanilla ice cream was a great pairing with it as well. The molten lava cake was SO good that we ordered another one. HIGHLY recommend it. read more
Yeah this is a great cafe in Flushing. The drinks were great here. Had a nice milk tea, and it rivals those of specialized milk tea spots like Tiger Sugar. They also have a great selection of drinks, with some eccentric flavors like Rose, Dragonfruit, etc. The dessets were honestly pretty average. We ordered some of their mille crepe cakes, which didn't have many layers and wasn't really sweet either. Lady M crepe cakes are better. The venue is cozy here too. The atmosphere is quaint, highly recommended to come here with friends or family. My family kinda mucked it up with a family reunion and loud mouthed Chinese speakers, but that is probably an anomaly. The overall vibe I got of this place was quite subtle. Finally, the service here was amazing. All of the waitresses here were friendly and attentive. They never rushed us at any point although we were sitting there almost the whole afternoon. Looking back, I would recommend this cafe if you need a place to chill with some good drinks. The desserts could use some work, but the venue and vibe make up for it. read more

We walked over here for dessert and tea after eating lunch at 37 Xiang. We waited about 15-20 minutes to be seated on a Saturday afternoon because it was packed. Once we were ready to be seated, he hostess checked our photo IDs and COVID-19 vaccination cards (you have to be vaccinated to enter). Service was quick and I loved my dessert and tea! I ordered brown sugar boba mille crepe cake and a pot of earl grey oolong tea. I've never had brown sugar boba crepe cake before, but now I'm never going back! The creme mousse that accompanies it is so delicious and the brown sugar boba gives the cake a great texture. I love that the teapot sits on top of a tealight candle holder so the tea stays warm. 3 out of 4 people at our table opted for the Honeycomb Challenge inspired by the Netflix show, Squid Game. If you successfully complete the challenge in 8 mins (they have you set a timer and keep walking by to check on you!), they give you a "Squid Game business card" so you can redeem a free pot of tea during your next visit. 2 out of 3 of us successfully completed it! This was a really cute tea house, and I'd definitely go back whenever I return to Flushing! Luckily there's a location in Princeton which is only 25-30 minutes away from me, so I'll give that location a try soon! read more

I came here on a date twice and I don't recommend it. The seatings were too close to the other customers next to us, I could hear other people's conversation and I'm sure they could hear ours. Not spacious. Recommend for group of friends. Cucumber cooler and berrylicious were pretty good. I was put off when I saw one of the employees carrying a shrink wrapped whole cake into the restaurant. Some reason I thought their cakes were house made, disappointed. read more

Prince Tea House had a quaint ambiance mixed with decent crepes and good tea. If these were the only criteria, it would be a 4/5. Crepe - The crepe was delicious. The filling was creamy and sweet while the matcha balances it with the bitterness. Tea - My friends ordered the rose tea and the toffee tea. The rose tea was amazing. Sweet and milky with a fragrant rose aftertaste. The toffee tasted more like a standard milk tea--still great, but nothing unique. The service could have been better. We wanted to sit in the booth like section and it seemed like it was a hassle once they allowed us to move. We were also eventually asked to leave because there was a time restraint? Overall, Prince Tea House has good tea and good crepes, but the service could have been better. read more

Perfect place to catch up with the homies! The atmosphere is super cute!! And the staff is amazing w/ service and covid precautions. We were required to show our vaccination cards at this place!! :) The tea and dessert here are amazing and I do want to come back here whenever I'm back in NYC. Starting with the drinks, I got the potted plant rose green tea. I like this dirnk a lot it is not too sweet c: I also got 2 pots of hot tea; the verbena, orange and mint tea and the pu erh tea. Then the dessert, I got the green tea and brown sugar Mille crepe cakes. Also got the purple yam soufflé. Overall, Everything was really really good and I do recommend coming here if you are craving sweets or just simply wanting to go a place to sit and talk :) read more

This is hands-down one of my favorite spots in Flushing. I've been going here for years and have never been disappointed. It is such a cute spot and it is always relaxing to grab a pot of tea here. The decor is stunning and I'm always left in awe at how pretty it is! It gets busy but it's usually not as noisy as other restaurants when it gets busy. The food and tea are always great, and there is a lot of variety. My go-to tea is the English Toffee Milk Tea ($9.50). I usually pair that with Takoyaki ($9.50) and Katsu Chicken Sandwich ($10.00). The English Toffee Milk Tea ($9.50) is always amazing! It's a great blend of sweet and creamy, and is a tea you can enjoy all year round. For me, it's always a 10/10! The Takoyaki ($9.50) is always well made and just the right balance of salty and flavorful. It comes with 6 pieces, so a decent portion at a fair price. It's also a 10/10 for me. I've only recently been getting the Katsu Chicken Sandwich ($10.00) but I'm happy I have. It's such a delicious sandwich bursting with flavor and overall yumminess. I highly recommend it and feel it's also a 10/10. My friends tried the Crabmeat Salad ($9.50) and Smoked Salmon Salad ($10.50), and they also enjoyed those. Overall, this is one of the best spots in Flushing for tea and light food. It's great for a date night or for a casual hangout. I highly recommend checking it out if you're in the area! read more

OK so I've been wanting to go to this place for quite some time and it did not disappoint. This was a great end to our hot and arduous food tour around Flushing. The atmosphere is cool and comfortable. I couldn't decide which I loved more, the strawberry shortcake or the brown sugar bubble tea. The bubble tea has this slightly salty foam on top that is a perfect complement to the sweet drink when you mix everything together, I've never tasted anything like it. And you can't really go wrong with strawberry shortcake but they managed to do everything right with this one. Next time I come back I want to try one of the tea sets they have that include sandwiches and other treats apart of a prefix. Everyone working here was super nice and made us feel incredibly welcome. So many enticing treats on the menu!!! read more
For those who have been living under a rock (#1), the Prince Tea House chain started right here on, you guessed it, Prince Street. After several years as a post-dining destination, they've expanded all throughout the NYC area racking up scores of fans in the process. I like to think this Flushing location has been the most popular one through it all because French inspired tea and dessert is a winning recipe for success. If somehow folks weren't hitting up the KTV or going on a boba run after eating in the hood, they'd end up here. Despite the super tall ceilings and cheesy decor, the place was a lot smaller than folks realized. In spite of this, they were still very accommodating for big groups and the occasional date night party. Before the trainwreck of 2020, this place was packed almost every night and typically had a wait. Thank goodness they were open late. Their crepe cakes are all the rage on IG but I happen to like their small'ish flowery tea pots with a small flame underneath. I think their purple yam souffle was underrated as a dessert and the chocolate lava cake is definitely restaurant worthy. Not terribly fond of their fresh fruit desserts (like the mille feuille) or their hot foods (hard pass on the popcorn chicken and sandwiches).d Service is solid and as expected, most things are overpriced. Just like most gimmicky setups in NYC, most people are generally aware they're paying for the ambience and in some cases, the good company. I'm sure when things are "normal" again that I'll find myself here at some point, but with a pot of rose tea for myself and perhaps a slice of their finest crepe cake. ____________ (#1) Or just in their closet during this pandemic. read more

Keeping it real out here in Downtown Flushing. My first time getting take out at Prince Tea House, felt strange since dining inside of Prince Tea House is always part of the experience, but we did it because a friend of ours really wanted to try some crepe cake. One Scoop of the Red bean ice cream was also very yummy and nice and creamy. It was the perfect place for us to rest and catch up in Flushing. Prince Tea House is hands down the best dessert place in Flushing and potentially the best in NYC. What other dessert shop in NYC can you sit down, feel cozy, and chat with your friends without feeling rushed while munching on reasonably priced desserts and drinks. Service was great when I went. Our waiter, Alex, took us to our table. He was very friendly and attentive, knew the menu very well and recommended great desserts. Overall just an good experience. If you're looking for somewhere to chat with friends, I definitely recommend Prince Tea House. read more

Review for when covid indoor dining was allowed, around Nov 2020. I came with my bf right when it opened and we were seated promptly, after our temperatures were taken, along with personal info for covid tracing. We shared a green tea mille crepe cake and the rose green tea. The matcha crepe cake was perfect, not too sweet and not too bitter. As for the tea, I always love the experience of pouring it out into the pretty teacups and having the tea remain hot for the entirety because of the small fire underneath the teapot. You cannot go wrong with either rose black or green tea. In all, great customer service and the cake + tea also hit the spot. Prince tea house always has such a cozy atmosphere and is a great place for a date or to have a girl's catch up. read more

The food was great. The tea was a bit sweet, but you can adjust the level if you ask. Some of the entrees do take longer to be served so if you want everything to come out at the same time, let the server know. It's a gorgeous space, only wish they took reservations read more
