Just horrible. Worst customer experience ever. I had previously bought an RV elsewhere, but never experienced the punishment received after I bought a truck camper here. I researched truck campers for some time, and decided on a Cirrus 920. I drove out from California ( and back) to buy this one from them. Mistake. When they sold it to me, they told me I would spend half a day getting the tie-downs installed, tailgate removed and camper good to go. I had a 9AM appointment time, and was there. Sometime that afternoon, they began working on it, after I had already cooled my jets for three hours in their waiting room. They could not finish, and I needed to book a hotel room, so I could go back the next day to get it finished. OK, I should have learned. We outfitted our unit, sold our home, and headed out back towards Texas. Our sink failed. We called the manufacturer, and were told Princesscraft could do the warranty replacement. I called Kevin to see if I could time an appointment. Be aware, Kevin does not say no, it is just that his yeses are untrustworthy. I asked about the sink and mounting my satellite dish on the roof. He said he did not think he could get a sink in time, and if he could, a dropoff Wednesday was possible, but first thing Friday morning would be the pickup, as the dish mount had sealant that must cure overnight. He promised to call me back by close of business Friday. He did not. I called the manufacturer, and they shipped the sink overnight. I could not verify my appointment, though, because the service department is closed on Mondays. The only person that knows what customer service is at this place, Marcela, called me back and reassured me that the sink was coming and Kevin would call me the next day. He did, and we confirmed installation appointment and time. I emphasized we were timing this visit, and would need to stay two nights in a hotel with our dog and bird. You can guess what happened. Friday morning, Kevin looks all surprised when I show, and seems concerned that I checked out of my hotel. The coach will not be ready until noon. He denies promising earlier. Only thing they did is sink. Did not start on satellite dish. I ask how it will be ready at noon when the sealant needs to be cured overnight? I get a blank look. Owner comes out, apologizing all sanctimoniously. An hour and half later I leave, with my dish in my trunk uninstalled. Perhaps I am incorrect, but I am willing to bet that Lying Little Kevin first wanted to blame his delay on not getting a sink, then on sealant. The man has no shame and is not to be trusted. Buy elsewhere, from someone reliable when it needs service. read more

I want to give a shout out to PJ, she was the sweetest! We had just had a bad experience over at RV outlet mall in georgetown and wanted to come check out what princess had to offer. We walked into the lot and were almost immediately met by PJ. We are at the beginning stages of searching for an RV and had lots of questions, all of which she was able to answer. She walked us around and showed us several models that seemed to fit what we were looking for and we were very impressed and never once felt pushed. For a small lot they had tons of options! We will definitely be back when the time comes to get a camper, but right now we're leaning towards something bigger. Excellent experience with the sales staff while shopping for our first RV. Everyone was super friendly and helpful with us RV noobs. A few days after taking delivery, it seemed like the trailer brakes were just not as effective as I expected. We wanted a Lance 850 truck camper and Princess craft was the only dealer within 1000 miles that had one. After I put a $500 hold on the unit, I had to go through the arduous process of finding and equipping a truck. After I told them I had a truck and had installed the tie downs, a pickup date was set. The first thing that I notice when I arrive is how dirty the unit was inside and out. Their excuse was that their detailer was sick the day before which was a Monday, but they had known of my appointment for 2 weeks. I had them clean the inside thinking I would hit rain on the way home. Seeing the condition of the unit I figured I better look it over close. I go on the roof and find several cracks in the Dicor caulk. They clean and shoot caulk on the cracks. This appears to have solved the problem but created another problem when they installed the Maxx Air covers. They installed the covers and let them lay in the fresh caulk. When I got home I had to break them free and clean them up. The Maxx Air attach brackets were loose as well. BOTTOM LINE IS, THEY DID A PISS POOR PDI ON THE UNIT. The owner seemed to have little regard for my concerns for fear of upsetting all the idiots that screwed up. In the last week I have found several other issues that weren't caught. We've been in the market for a new pop-up for some time, haunting Craigs list and visiting huge RV lots selling new and used units with which we were totally unimpressed. We visited Princess Craft since we'd bought a truck bed cover from them some time ago, and they had a used pop-up which was pretty much exactly what we needed, and since we have a festival coming up, and our old pop-up was broken, we bought it. When we brought it home we discovered that the lift system had some serious issues. Unless and until we could get it fixed it was unusable. With a deadline coming up, we were more than a little stressed out! PJ and the tech staff at Princess Craft were good as gold, and took first rate care of us the very next day, and our new pop-up is ready for the road! There are a lot of camper and RV dealers in this area, and we've dealt with several of them. I can confidently say that the Princess Craft folks are about the best we've worked with. They're patient, no-nonsense business folks and a pleasure to work with. They're a home grown, locally owned business which has stayed in a business in which I expect the competition is pretty fierce by treating their customers more like friends and neighbors than like cattle with money! read more

I think this is one of the best purchasing experiences I have ever had. First of all, when you buy Here, expect too spend three or more hours completing your purchase. It is the manufacturers, not princess craft that require the owner to be given a thorough walkthrough of their new unit. Rather than finding this a hassle or a waste of time I was completely comfortable with my travel trailer by the time I drove off. I am a a first-time RV owner so I was concerned about safety and about Towing but I found it completely easy and by the time I got home I knew everything I needed to know about my new unit without reading an owners manual. They also take the time to answer any questions you might have, and believe me you will have some. I had to go back to troubleshoot the parking lights and have to call to ask how to adjust my screen door but anytime you call they are happy to hear from you. A big shout out to Tonya, Kevin , Drew, Ed, Steve & TJ... spending a bunch of money on a "luxury item" can be an intimidating prospect but I will go back here anytime. Maybe it is COVID making everyone into grumpmeisters, but the service staff at this dealer are 2 of the least service oriented dealership employees I have met in years. Shame on the management and the employees. There is no reason for the rudeness both in person and telephonically. It was everything I could do from either crying or yelling. We purchased 2 RV's from Princess Craft and have experienced the best customer service ever. The sales representatives keep your needs foremost over just selling a rig. They're product knowledge is a model for other dealerships to strive for. One of things we really liked about them is their selection of high quality products. There's no junk at Princess Craft that's for sure! The parts/accessory department will go to the ends of the earth finding what you need and when they find it, it's shipped to you or available for store pick up. What more can we ask. We have been to several dealerships along I35 and yes they all have great products but Princess Craft treated us like family. Drove from Houston to see what small RVs they had. The sales guy who "helped" us was not friendly nor did it seem like he wanted to help us. I was looking for an RV that would fit in my garage and I did let him know that when looking around. He showed us a couple that we wanted to see but we felt rushed and not welcomed. We are first time buyers and had many questions but did not feel comfortable enough to ask him. When my husband asked if there was any other RV I wanted to see, the salesman quickly responded. He said not to waste his time. He said he had plenty of work to do inside. I found this to be extremely rude and I told him we were not trying to waste his time. He tried "fixing" his answer by saying "since you want something to fit in your garage there is no point in looking at other ones and wasting time". I would never drive two hours with three kids in the car to "waste" time looking at something I did not have an intention of buying. A good sales guy would never say anything like that to a customer. I plan to eventually buy a truck camper, but due to life, it will be a while away. Periodically I stop by this place and see what new things they offer. The true reason I gave them five stars is that I have a certain make of RV generator which nobody will service in Austin, because it is a well known brand, but because it isn't a Honda, there just isn't anyone interested in looking for it. As a last-ditch effort, I called the service department here because they sell the make of generator I have. The service people did an excellent job of trying to find the problem, and because the item was make specific, got me in touch with a very good repair depot place to replace the failed parts. The service department went above and beyond what they needed to. Even though it is a way out, if I'm buying a truck camper in Texas, these are the people who well deserve my business. They know what they are doing, and friendly to even the brain dead people like me. read more

Failed to fix my a/c unit. Issues with bolts. Came off again in middle of a trip. They did a half ass job doing a temp fix only. I would expect warranty work to be done right. I wasted 6 hrs driving there. Staff made me feel like I was a hinderence. Now I have to find a different service center. I regret buying from here. read more

After our purchase of a teardrop travel trailer an issue came up on our first time used. Although it took some time to correct we never felt like we were abandoned by Princess craft. Agreeable solutions were offered and even though it presented a challenge (being 200 miles away) they never gave up until problem was resolved. We have a Livin Lite 10.0 Tent Camper that we bought used a few months go. Before we bought it we called and talked to Tonya to see how much a new Tent and Tonneau would be cost. Tonya was very helpful. Fast forward a couple months later we have the camper so I contacted Tonya again to order theTent and Tonneau. She had the manufacture ship the Tent and Tonneau to our house up in the Dallas area. Within a few weeks we had the package. When we went to install the new covers we realized we got a 8.0 tent and not the 10.0 tent. The packing list was correct so I knew it was ordered correctly but the manufacture just put the wrong part in the wrong box. This was on a Saturday when we discovered this but I called Tonya and we figured out they were delivered my 10.0 tent and the 8.0 tent was supposed to go to them. She worked out with another guy in the Parts & Service Department, Matt, would drive my tent up to Dallas on Monday and we would make the swap. I just got done putting my new covers on the camper and everything looks and fits great! I don't know what other company who would be willing to drive from Round Rock to Dallas to make sure we go the Tents swapped so that we could be ready for our camping trip next week. I purchased an Aliner Expedition from Princess Craft Campers in 2004. I agree with the other reviews the purchase was not a bad experience from a sales view. If you have to have any work done later be aware ! My last experience with them in July 2013 was not good to say the least. One of the items I had them replace was a strip of weather stripping that goes along the top of the trailer where the roofs meet. This goes only on one side of the roof so it can be replaced fairly easily. . After they completed the work I drove back home (96 miles round trip). The next week I set up my trailer and the weather striping fell off. I made another triip and they replace the stripping at no cost. Here is the bad on their p[art. They used an incorrect weather stripping and attached it to both sides of the roof hoping that two smaller (less thick ) would be ok and seal the roof. Last week a piece of the weather stripping came apart (less than i year) and that was the side of the roof where there should not be any weather stripping. I was able to pull the broken strip off but as of yet have not been able to remove the glue residue. If I just put another piece of the correct size weather strip where it should go The remaining glue residue will probably stick to the new piece causing ti to fall off. This is a major fix now as bungee cord replacement will be needed in order to reach and remove the glue residue.. Estimated cost of $110.material only. I spent over 30 years in various manufacturing positions and this is the worst workmanship I have ever seen .Some unqualified technician not having a clue of the task was allowed to totally screw it up. Having sent Princess Craft an email last week so far no response and don have much confidence that I ever will. Their customer service appears only interested in the initial sale. read more

I bought a trailer from Princess Craft and it was a great experience, in fact it was my second trailer from them. After having the second trailer for 15 months, I found out it had a manufacturing defect. The axle had been placed in the wrong position. PJ the owner, talked to the company and got them to cover the repairs at no cost for me. This was after the 12 month warranty had expired. Great people to work with. read more

I went to Princess Craft in Round Rock on the 7th and talked to the salesman who took his time and answered my question and really helped me make a choice as to which truck camper I wanted. We went inside to write up the Purchase Order and discovered the computers where down. He took my information for finance and told me I would be getting a call in about an hour and that he would send me a copy of the P.O. to my email. From that point on it was nothing but frustration dealing with this company I waited for the call from finance but it didnt come nor did the PO. I called on Friday the 8th first thing in the morning and asked to speak to the salesman but he was sick with the flu. I asked the lady who answered the phone if she would get somebody to send me the PO to my email and I gave her my email addy. That afternoon JP in finance called me and as we were dicussing the finance he said I would need 20% down or $3400. which makes the invoice for around $17000. The camper I was trying to buy was right under $11,450 so I knew that was'nt the right PO. On Saturday the 9th I still hadn't received the PO. On Monday the 11th I called and talked to the General Manager PJ and she said the salesman was still out sick but she would handle it personally. We discussed which camper I had chosen, how much and what the options where that I needed to anchor it in my truck. She said she was going to give it to someone in her office to walk it through since she was going on vacation. I didn't hear a word from anybodyon Tuesdaythe12th, Wednesday the 13th or Thursday the 14th so I called and asked to talk to the un-named person who was "walking it through" , They had no idea who it could be and without their name I would have to talk to PJ on Monday the 18th. I I called Monday the 18th and talked with JP and she was extemely upset and said she would personally take care of it. She sent me the PO that day but I felt that ten days of waiting Princess Craft should at least give me a break on the price. When I talked to JP on the 19th we agreed that they would rewrite the purchase order to include at no charge the system used to hold the camper in the truck..They are quite expensive at $950 dollars so I felt way better and agreed to the price. She sent me the PO that afternoon. On Wednesday the 20th JP in finance called me for verification of my income and I asked him if the PO was the correct one. He had the one without the included no cost tie down system. At this point I have had enough and will Never buy anything from Princess Crap. If they cant make a sale can you imagine what the after the sale service would be like. Avoid these guys folks. I took me 13 days for them to try and get one sale right...and FAILED. read more

At the beginning of April of this year my husband and I bought a new pull camper trailer from Princess Craft. The staff was friendly and knowledgable. I feel like they sold us everything that they could but hopefully this was to help us( as this was the first time we had purchased a travel camper ) and not just for the money. I would have given Princess Craft a good review except that we are now having problems with the repair department. My husband took our camper back to Princess Craft on April 18th after we had a blowout on one of the tires that resulted in a small amount of damage on the frame under the camper. He was told then that the repair department was very busy but that the repair techs would get to our camper by the end of the week. It is now May 13th and we still do not have a repaired camper nor any word from Princess Craft. My husband has called and spoken with Brandon (lead repair tech.) twice since it been in the shop. My husband was given excuses and told that he would be called later in the day with an update. We never got a call back and have heard nothing. This is very unprofessional. I understand that the repair shop may be busy with summer coming up but our camper has been in the shop for almost one month and we are getting no information or updates. It seems like now that we purchased our $30,000 camper Princess Craft is done with us. This is very disappointing especially since I looked up their ratings before we decided to buy from them. I'm happy that other people are pleased and having no problems with Princess Craft but obviously there are people out there that aren't getting the great service or even fair service. At this time I have to give Princess Craft one star and I would not recommend this dealership to anyone. We will never purchase a camper from them because we were so rudely treated by a salesman. We drove over 2 hours to get there on New Year's Eve after calling and verifying the hours before we left. We arrived shortly after noon after being told they would be open till 4. The salesman greeted us by saying we are closing. We expressed our unhappiness and left to never return. Unbelievably rude service employees!! We have been having the same or very similar experiences with these people as Debra W. Sad to say. "We will take your money and run" should be their motto! We paid over double what this other lady paid for her camper and have been treated like we don't exist! Oh that's right, we are dealing with the princess! They are royalty and we don't matter do we?? We purchased all the warranties too. Not even a thank you for your business! What is wrong with these people? The truck camper we purchased and paid top dollar for was sold to us "as is" and not in new condition by any means. It has numerous problems ranging from easily correctable to quite serious regarding the electrical system. Did I mention we paid over $65,000+ for this hot mess including warranties and guess who is doing repairs and extra cleaning on a dirty brand "new" awning?? You got it! Certainly not the princess craft! Please make this right people! I will be phoning them again since they ignored my last call and see what they say. 'Bout ready to hire me a lawyer! read more
