Windows, window sills, floors, surfaces, bathrooms, bedroom, behind the fridge, inside the oven were immaculate. Even little things like wiping down some items on the bathroom counter or rearranging pillows. So why not have them do my move out cleaning for me? They kept contact with me via phone not only to ask exactly what I needed, to call and confirm what I needed but to also let me know the crew was almost done at the current location, which made everything easy for meeting them. Asked them to give me an hour notice and she gave a little more than that. Well to sum up this awesome yelp.... the realtor whose clients bought my house stated that house was left in great condition (I can't say my new house was left that way). He also said that the house smelt and looked really clean. I had no worries at all on how the crew was going to do. When I first came into the house to meet them, they were already fast at work in the master bathroom ( I was late meeting them, but my favorite neighbor ran over and let them in). Spoke with them for a few minutes and went on my way to run a couple of errands. When I returned to fix a couple of things they were still hard at work. I thought ,maybe they might be standing around when I go in. Nope, they both were still hard at work and the house smelled of it. Update to Steve's response…read more Steve, that's not accurate. I used the ladder myself. I would never expect or want the cleaners to get on a ladder in my home. That was my responsibility. The issue wasn't the ladder. It came down to the fact that they weren't prepared for the scope of the post-construction cleaning they were sent to do. Right from the start, I had concerns. I even asked if they could clean two additional bathrooms and told them I was happy to pay extra, but they hesitated. At that point, I had a feeling this wasn't going to work out. When they told me they were finished, there was still drywall dust throughout the house, grease left on the stovetop, and the blinds had not been cleaned properly. I also found dust remaining on surfaces they said had already been cleaned. Erica was defensive from the beginning instead of trying to address my concerns. You can believe what you want. At this point it's my word against yours, so there's no point in arguing. I just think people deserve to know what they can expect so they can make an informed decision.

This is a problem, because: 1. Each time I emailed, a different person answered. Probably 20 emails over 1 week were arranged before I could get a quote and schedule cleaning. Because emails would usually arrive late at night or around 2-4AM, I guessed the emailers were located outside of the US. 2. Phone calls are not effective. Email info could easily have been conveyed in a 5-minute phone call, but when I called, the representative didn't know anything about scheduling. 3. A third-party cleaner comes to your house. This means there isn't consistency in quality. The cleaners complained that there was too much work and that it would take a 2-person team 4 hours to do the work (clean 1.5 bathrooms, put about less than 10 dishes in the dishwasher). One worker did dishes only during this time (at $40/hr, that's about $4/dish). The other cleaned the bathrooms. And of course they finished in less than 1 hour. 4. Communication with the third-party cleaner was poor. After all the time I spent emailing about what would be included, none of the details they asked about were conveyed. This was part of the time I paid for, because 1 worker called their supervisor to try to get out of doing the work.
