So I decided to try Princess Nails out today since Apsara is booked out. I think I was expecting a little too much. It's a decent job but not as much quality here. Not a very welcome environment. Edit: The customer service was the worst. I was insulted for not wanting to get my eyebrows done and told that I needed to get them done now because of how bad they look. My nail tech had no interest in me or taking the time to do a decent job. My fingers ache today and burn from all the cuts on my cuticles. The clear coat is starting to bubble already. Taking that extra star off my rating and I will be making an appointment with Apsara today to fix this mess. read more

While the service was amazing and they worked in timely matter the overall results of my gel nails were disastrous . I paid over $50 for a gel full set with gel polish. I thought because it was gel, the nails were supposed to be slightly thicker:nope. The gel polish was so think, it literally flaked in chunks by day two, and the false gel nail underneath flaked with it as well. So basically two days in my entire full set is attempting to flake off. Waste of money. read more

I have visited here twice before when working in Columbus. I noticed today it was under new management and there was a sign outside offering 15% off. There was no one on the inside and I was the only customer. My pedicure was okay. The issue that I had was that one of the workers/owners was playing a game that I assumed was Fortnite on his IPad. The volume was up very loud and you could hear all of the shooting noises and you could hear the other players talking. This was totally inappropriate for a nail salon where people come to relax. Time out for a mani/pedi. ;) My little sister was with me, who had also broken a couple of nails (hers were acrylic though), so we looked up nail salons on Yelp and found Princess Nails. It's a small nail salon, but very clean and it didn't smell strongly of chemicals. They had a large selection of polishes, including brands such as OPI. A varied menu offering acrylics, gels, and quite a few different styles of mani/pedis to choose from at very decent prices. My sister just got her nails fixed (pink and white) and covered in green glitter for St. Patrick's Day. I got a paraffin wax mani/pedi and it was tops! Massage chairs have good pressure, and my nail tech was very thorough without hurting me! Soft skin and pretty nails when I left, with great customer service and only a small dent in my pocket. I want to get a full set a French tip nails with a design for my birthday. it's pretty simple right? well look what They did to my hands! my nails are uneven on both hands on top of that one of my nails are huge and they just all together look horrible. With the design, I saved it and it was my suggestion, he even asked me if my nails were too big (they were bigger) and I told him yes and he made a smaller.... it is still too big. I'm not going back here that was my last straw. My toes look okay so if you go here and you only want pedicures you're in the right spot but for full sets/ certain nails I would never recommend for my worst enemy. read more

"My friend and I went to princess nails with her five year old daughter and 1 year old son. The two of us had our nails done by two men. The man doing my friends nails had long natural nails that appeared dirty. The sight of his nails made her feel uncomfortable because of hygiene concerns. However she gave him a chance anyway. She was happy with how her nails came out. The man who did my pedicure however, was asked to do a French manicure. I was a little surprised to see him add a thick white line almost half of my nail thick. I asked him if he could try to make it thinner. He then painted the lines thinner but still fairlythick with lots of imperfections. He went back with a tool to take off excess polish but the result was still jagged lines and I figured I would take it off when I got home. Instead I asked for a different darker color to go over it. The man doing my nails had finished and started on someone else without asking me if I was okay with them. So I asked the man with long nails to do it. He agreed but rolled his eyes and looked very irritated by my request. After all three of us were done with our nails we paid and left. As we were packing up the stroller in the parking lot the man came running out and told us he had forgotten to charge us for the 5 year olds nails. I had no original receipt or way of knowing if he was charging the rest of the money. I just gave him the cash because we were pressed for time and I felt uncomfortable. Recently moved to Columbus and decided to check this place out based on the Yelp reviews. Showed up as a walk-in on a Wednesday afternoon. There were a few ladies and two little girls getting pedicures. I asked for a mani-pedi and waited about 20 minutes. They started with the manicure, which was fine, but a little rough. My cuticles didn't look that good when they were done, but the top coat they used was insane and lasted almost 10 days. Pedicure was given by a very strange young man with insanely long nails. He did a decent job, but was socially awkward. He (I think) unintentionally said a few things that were very offensive and made me want to leave. I will not be coming back - they did an ok job, but the shop didn't feel clean, they had the door open so they wouldn't have to run the A/C, and the staff is not that friendly. read more

I needed to get my nails fixed from the disaster set from Megans nails in ft. Mitchell and Don fixed them right up without having to soak off and put on a new set. I got my eye brows waxed and a basic manicure. There was one younger female that seemed to be making fun of me after my eye brow wax. I cannot confirm cause she was speaking in a different language, but pointing at her eyebrows and then pointing at me make speaks in any language. My skin is sensitive and i knew it'd get red, but i still dont appreciate it. I was moved to another lady for service after one lady walked in asking for a full set. When I first got there they were very friendly ask me to sign in and one guy started filing my nails down and shaping them until the girl doing my nails arrived. When she got there she worked on two of my nails and then Took about three minutes to respond to a text. She slapped the paint on and told me wait here for about 20 minutes while they dry. I did get regular polish not gel so I understand having to wait for them to dry however she had me leaned over to a different station with my hands in front of a fan and a very uncomfortable position. Walked in, immediately greeted. Told to pick out polish and have a seat at pedicure chair. Didn't have to wait at all. Once done with toes went with same employee to get nails done. This was the first place that the same employee handled everything for one customer, I liked that. Although various languages are spoken, English was extremely understandable. They went out of their way to finish a job even after open/closing time. I will go back for sure! They even have a reward system that tracks your visits and points for free service. Called and asked for a refund as I am out of town now and will have to pay to fix them, and they refused. Customer service is key for me, and they were certainly lacking. Pedi wasn't great either. I went in for a regular manicure and had gel on which needed to be taken off. The gel soaked for 5 mins but was still not coming off 100% so the technician used an electronic buffer to take the rest off. She also buffed off a lot of the top layer of my nail left the surfaced feeling very rough and scratched. I chose a polish brand I am not familiar with and it chipped the next day. Not sure if this is due to the brand. The application was good and not streaky but she left a lot of polish on my side cuticles. I will say they have great colors and actually have matching gel and regular polish which is nice. Overall I likely will not return because there are so many other options in the area. read more
