This is highly important if you are non-white person who is considering professional skin treatments. I first went to Dedra for treatment in September of 2017 to help even the texture and complexion of my skin. She assessed my skin and deduced that I would see improvements in three months with regular treatments. She also worked with me to develop a specialized skin regimen. She told me which products to stop using and which ones to incorporate in my routine. Though Dedra sells PCA and Dermalogica products in her office, she never pushed any of them on me. She recommended products that I could pick up fro Target and the grocery store that were just as effective. When I felt I needed products with concentrated ingredients she advised on which products from her Dermalogica and PCA inventory would work best for my skin. Most people would try to sell you as many products as possible. Dedra informed me of all the ingredients in the products she selected for me and let me know how they interacted with each other. By December 2018, my skin drastically improved thanks to my home regimen and monthly treatments. I continue to see Dedra each month to maintain my progress and improve other areas. Dedra uses the latest and verified skin care treatments. Her workspace and equipment is meticulously cleaned and sanitized. I spend at least five minutes with Dedra reviewing my skin progress. If she believes I am ready for an advanced treatment she will advise me on how to prepare (not to shave, avoid certain creams and lotions, avoid excessive sunlight) for the whatever product or instrument she will use.
