Going into my meeting…read morewith them, I knew that they were the "Best in town" and that for that alone I would be paying a premium. I was lucky to meet with Rick the owner and he dedicated an hour to our meeting which I appreciated. Looking back though I feel like I got juiced for what I ordered...all in season flowers and 4 mains centerpieces of tightly packed carnations. I hit a snafu with my venue which caused me to delay my "request" by a couple of days so Rick said" woops sorry now we have to charge you an extra $200 for a rush fee"....a rush fee for carnations? tulips? and roses???? Honestly, if you are lucky to have more time than I do, I would recommend doing more comparison. In retrospect I should have been more prepared for the premium. I would have given them a additional star if I didnt feel so juiced like when I explained to him that my HEAD table should have a more substantial centerpiece but instead I got small little vases with rose, tulip, and gerber daisy buds. Looked pretty---but not for the price. The head table was something I had specified to be special and was not delivered. One plus though is they created a very nice looking chuppah. I'm trying to be fair in this review....so I'll sum it by saying very pretty BUT overpriced. Wish I could post pictures so you could see what I got for the price. And I would tell them to chill back on such ridicuolous "rush fee" that other florists wouldnt impose. On that alone, I would never go back to them to plan my corporate or social events.

We can't continue to allow these people to take advantage of us...something MUST be done!! "I was charged a fee of $1,500, I believe I should be compensated for the deplorable conditions and inconvenience I encountered while utilizing your facility. Listed below are the issues I incurred: Upon arrival, the banquet hall had a undesirable odor - the floor was dirty and sticky; the warming oven was never provided; The recommended bartender, who also serves as the general manager, was paid an additional amount of $200 (not included in the contract) - he showed up at least 30-45 minutes late, completely unprepared, including not having any ice, a major inconvenience to me and my guests; Being late and unprepared was one thing, but how can a bartender operate a bar with NO RUNNING WATER and ADAQUATE DRAINAGE!! Prior to signing the contract I was shown the facilities. Once I agreed on your recommended bartender and fee, I had no idea I would be provided a bar without proper set-up such as running water and proper drainage! Your facility initially provided two trashcans with liners - once full and emptied, you don't provide any additional liners - your trash cans smelled and were disgusting - you should at least provide a total of four trash cans for each event (one in each corner of the room) and each should have an additional liner - you are a thriving business, the liners can be purchased in bulk; My coordinator had no idea the sink was inoperable, waste was depositing into a small bowl located under the sink and already filled with nasty, dirty, smelly water (which could have been the source of the undesirable odor in the banquet hall); And finally, the most disappointing was the invasion of ANTS!! We placed our covered chicken on the designated countertop. Once the food table was prepared, we attempted to move the chicken from the counter to the food table and that's when we realized ANTS had invaded our chicken - they were everywhere!! Several guests complained there were ants in their food! Of course, we could not continue to serve the chicken it was ruined - Embarrassing and Completely Unacceptable!"

Not only did they make me feel comfortable and excited with their presence but Kia also helped with our timeline in a way that made everything go extremely smoothly. When him Conor and I. Had a meeting couple weeks before the wedding. We were struggling with the timeline of everything and how we're going to incorporate the Persian ceremony with American ceremony and Kia was able to explain how it will be done so effortlessly. As for the actual music, we sent a couple ideas what we wanted the night to be like in Kia couldn't be more perfect in his effortless djing and MCing. And Farzan was a tremendous add, I am so happy We have also had him to compliment Kia. Everyone we spoke to after the wedding could not stop raving about both of them. Also both of their extremely positive attitudes was a cherry on top- they were truly a huge part of the night and couldn't have gone as smooth as it did without them. I need Kia to make a playlist on everything he did because OBSESSED. My maid of honor getting married next year also using Kia also said she is now soooo excited to use you guys!

    Attempting to book an event with the Treetop Atrium was a complete disappointment. I contacted the…read morenumber listed online several times during late 2018 to no avail. My mother received a recommendation about the Treetop Atrium and I was very excited to host my baby shower there. She also attempted to reach the coordinators at the venue and received a call back just this April. That should have been alarming enough, but I still set an appointment to view the space. Shirley, the event manager, met me on an afternoon in April and showed me around the venue. Again, I was excited about the possibility of booking the space after our meeting. She even offered to honor the Winter special price of $2500 instead of the $3900 the space is renting for at this time. Shirley gave me her personal number and assured me I could communicate with her that way. When I mentioned I tried to reach her using the posted office number she told me I probably didn't answer the phone call when they returned it like most people do when they don't recognize a number, including her. I could not relate to that statement, but I let it ride to avoid ruffling feathers. It was clear to me at that point she was not willing to take responsibility for the poor communication and responses of the venue. Nonetheless, I let that go and thought moving forward could work in my favor. I left the venue and consulted with my family and friends and we decided booking the space would be best. Ms. Shirley confirmed an appointment with me April 18 at 1 pm to secure the space with a deposit and my mother agreed to meet her by text. In this text correspondence, I asked Shirley if my friends who would personalize the space could come at a later date to see the venue and she told me everyone had to be present April 18 at 1 pm. I further asked her to accommodate me and I was totally ignored. Shirley did not show up for the April 18 meeting with my mother although she confirmed this was the only time we could meet with her. My mother waited at the venue for an hour and a half, left Shirley a message and text her personal phone number provided. I also text Shirley to let her know my mother was waiting. She ghosted me completely. I was in shock that she did not show up for this meeting or reply to our correspondence. Needless to say she still has not returned my call to this day. I spoke to her assistant Frankie who told me Shirley had an emergency during our meeting and would call me in the following week. That never happened. It is very disheartening that this venue, but specifically Shirley, operates with such a lack of professionalism. If my request to view the space after booking it was too ridiculous for Shirley, she could have stated that she didn't want to continue the deal instead of intentionally ignoring my calls and texts. If Shirley did not want to honor the lower rate, she could have stated that as well. This is not the way to do business and I would suggest saving yourself the headache and book with a more professional venue. I am very disappointed in the way this business deal was handled, but I feel much more comfortable knowing I dodged a bullet in working with Shirley. Imagine if she arbitrarily started to ignore me after I was financially involved? Beware of business deals with the Treetop Atrium. Prince George's County deserves a more professional venue than what they are able to offer consistently.

My shower was more than I could ever imagine. I will definitely be using this venue in the future. I highly recommend this venue for any event. Everything was Wonderful!
