This cause $17k + in damages, total cost well over the value of the vehicle.

I had no idea what was being done to my vehicle. Abuse of funds. Lack of communications. I had no say in what was done to my vehicle. Window was open when picked it up, dirty and smelled of mildew. The picture shows the "minor fender bender". I was the front vehicle in a three car pile up. The accident happened on January 5th and I picked up my vehicle on March 9th. The total cost was 17,504.91, plus 2,676.28 for the rental, plus 700-2000 of items left incomplete or made worse, that the insurance company is handling. This is a collision company that is using systemic power of fraud waste and misuse towards insurance claims that the customer has to suffer from. They charged the insurance company for items they didn't even replace on the truck. I was supposed to be receiving updates Tuesday and Thursdays. I barely received one phone call a week; when I reached out I got, "work in progress" or "in paint". After three missed updates I finally persisted calling and found out that my entire truck bed was being replaced, and the first bed that was ordered wasn't good enough, so a second bed needed to be ordered. To my absolute astonishment my the bed was being replaced without my permission or knowledge. The bumper, 3/4 of it, was replaced and they left one side chrome and one side black. So the entire bed can be replaced but they can't return it to me with the same color bumper it was given to them? They replaced the wheel well plastic on my front end, yes the non-impacted area of the truck, this now caused the tires to rub and squeal when they're turned more than 30 degrees. The paint is not faded in well at all from the bed to the cab doors, has runs, and additionally scratches were on doors that weren't on there before I dropped it off. The scariest part was when I picked it up, I didn't need to sign for anything, there was no way to bring up any of the deficiencies with the actual shop.

On July 20 2022, after I was told all the necessary parts were in, I dropped off my car at this body shop for a "9 day job". On about August 1st I was told another part needed to be ordered and that it would be a couple of weeks. On about August 17th I was told it would be a couple more weeks. I asked if my car could be made drivable so I could take it home while waiting for this part to come in so I would not have to pay out of pocket for my rental. I was told that was impossible. On Sept 1st I was told it would be a couple more weeks again. After getting my insurance company involved the body shop manager agreed to give me my car like I requested 2 weeks prior. When I picked up my car I was shown the part I have been waiting for for over a month. It is a chrome plastic trim piece on the driver's side grill that the tech broke when disassembling the front grill/bumper so he could fix a scrape down the passenger side of the car. A non-essential trim piece that their technician broke... My rental reimbursement ran out on August 9th. I had to come out of pocket $660 so my car could sit at your body shop waiting on a trim piece for over a month. That is not acceptable and completely unreasonable.

I didn't think much of it but my fiancé told me to get it checked out. I never did till it got really bad. One day I'm going on a lil trip with my car & my 2 yr old son was with me. So I'm on the interstate & my engine light just starts flashing & it wouldn't go no faster than 57 miles. I had to pull over on the interstate & turn on my hazard lights. I had to drive an hour & some minutes back home only going 57 miles on the interstate just so they could tow my car from home. Mind you, the day after they "claimed" they fixed it my car did the same exact thing not even 24hrs of me having it. Recently my car stopped on a stop light because it was over heated & smoking. Now you may be thinking "what could cause that" well my c-h cooling ruptured all over my engine so i didn't have any cooling on a 81 degree hot day. Now they're saying I'll have to get a whole new engine & this is only the second month I've had the car. The worst part about it all is, i don't even want the car anymore it's putting me into financial stress. It's been in the shop more times than I've driven it.

I drove 3 and a half hours to get there and immediately I could tell my happiness truly was their priority and they care about their customers. The other two associates were also incredibly friendly and helpful when walking me through the actual buying process. They made sure I was all set before making my drive home by making sure I had a full sized spare tire, when I brought up my concern that there was no front license plate mount they instantly took action to make sure it was fixed for me, and a full tank of gas! I went home with an amazing car and an even better experience. Thank you so much!

Normally with car inspections, I have to drop my car off at an auto-body shop and pick it up the next day due to the "first come, first serve" policy but I didn't have that option so I booked an appointment with 17th Street Automotive for the same day. As soon as I walked into the office, I was happily greeted by Kristen and another worker. They both were extremely pleasant and personable. I was quoted a service time of about an hour and a half and was offered beverages while I wait, which was a very nice gesture. My state inspection was completed after an hour and a half, just as they quoted me. Kristen was very informative with the things they found during the inspection and with how amazing their customer service was, I would definitely return to get my car serviced with them. I was given a free car freshener once the service was complete and told them I would tell everyone I knew about the exceptional experience I had with their business. If you are looking for same-day inspections or in need of any car services, I highly recommend checking out 17th Street Automotive.

Completely unacceptable, frustrating experience…read more I paid $1,338 for front brakes and calipers, and within six months I was still having braking issues. When I returned, they replaced only one front rotor under warranty. After a third visit for the same braking noise/vibration, I was told the problem was my rear brakes, even though those had been replaced only three months earlier at another shop. I then went to three independent shops, and all confirmed the real issue was a warped front rotor (the one not replaced the second time I brought it in). This should've been fixed the second or third time I brought it in. Instead they shifted blame to another shop, in which their work was confirmed to be fine. And for the price I paid, I shouldn't have had to bring it in multiple times for the same issue. Still after three visits and over $1,300 spent, my issue was still not properly fixed. The only good thing about this experience was that it was under warranty, and another shop was able to fix my brakes properly. I would strongly recommend getting a second opinion before trusting this shop, and if possible save your time and go elsewhere.

I really hate having to leave negative reviews. I always try to give the benefit of the doubt…read more However, this has unfortunately been the worst car buying experience I've ever had, by far. And I've bought numerous cars over the years. Buckle up, it's a somewhat long story, but I have to share it. I bought a used 2021 Toyota Corolla from these guys recently, and made my mistake of not test driving it first, and trusted their word, and trusted that a Toyota Corolla is a reliable car to purchase. When I received the car, I didn't even make it out of my neighborhood before noticing it grinding gears when downshifting into 2nd and it didn't want to stay in that gear. Coming from a previous car with endless issues, my heart sank. I called the dealership and the manager (John, I think?) dismissed everything I said and hung up on me. I called Moose again and he gave me the owner Tim's number. Tim was more responsive and understanding and they sent someone to come pickup the car, who also confirmed the issue. Since it was under their 3000mile warranty they decided to put another transmission in it. He claimed it was a new transmission. He offered to put a new clutch in it also, as long as I paid for the parts, which I agreed to at the time, but his "transmission guy said the clutch is fine," so they opted not to. Now, here I am less than 10k miles later, and the clutch has failed. The trusted mechanic I took the car to also told me that they installed a "junkyard transmission." I respectfully and politely called Tim to get some answers and see what they would do about it, and he still claims it's a new transmission, and that he would talk to his transmission guy again, but hasn't sent me any proof of that, and has now stopped answering phone calls and hasn't returned any calls. I do not have and would've never expected to put $3000 into repairs of a car that I just purchased. A 2021 Toyota Corolla with transmission AND clutch failure within 10k miles seems like something an experienced car dealership and "transmission guy" should've been able to catch before it got to my hands. I bought this car for the sole purpose of having a reliable vehicle for my family, and it's been a nightmare since day one. I was (and still am) only hoping they would do the right thing and handle this issue. Incredibly disappointed.

The next morning after buying the car I heard a terrible grinding noise (shown in video) upon starting up. After a quick google search i realized it was a common issue with 2010 Honda Crvs to have the VCT Actuactor fail at 100,000 miles. Since the car was at 107,000 miles I knew this was the issue. I went back to show them the terrible noise, and they told me I was turning the key too far causing the grinding noise as i show in the second video that in fact does not happen with this car, as it has a feature that prevents that from happening. Drove it around and there isn't any problem except for the ABS and the check engine light he told us was just a result of the previous owner trying to bypass the ABS light. To make sure, I asked him to get an encoder and the o2 sensor fault showed up. Before I went on with the purchase I told him about the issue and he said he will have it fixed. Soon as it was returned, we picked it up but it had a hard shift going on reverse and or drive. I had it looked at by a mechanic and they said that it was idling too high and told me I should just return it. Told Mike about the issue and he had the idling issue fixed. I decided to have it looked at by Toyota and they showed me that the brake calipers need to be replaced, rotors changed, transmission line fixed, and they also showed me the heavy rusting under carriage and how some of them were masked by having paint over some of the rust. Now I'm just wondering how this vehicle passed inspection, which most used car dealerships do. I told him about the problem and we decided we didn't want the car anymore. He gave us the money back and we were thankfully not stuck with the truck. He also gave us a loaner truck in his lot while the Tacoma was getting fixed. I would give 5 stars to this dealership because of the amount of customer service we received which is nothing compared to other used car dealerships around town. I decided to give 4 stars because of the fact that the car was actually unreliable. But, like said, thankfully we got our money back. Thanks again Mike! Hopefully not all of the cars in your lot are like that.

Paid 7k for a vehicle That has several thousand dollars in repairs. Yes the vehicles are bought AS IS but there is a fine line before completely selling someone a bad vehicle. We are protected by the vehicles state inspection and there were several issues (tires wheels and brakes included) that would have made this vehicle IMPOSSIBLE TO PASS INSPECTION even though it had up to date inspection. They have a mechanic on site that they know and im sure they have various connections that will pass them for inspection.
