This place is wonderful. I have been here twice in the past year for unexpected injuries and have never waited more than 20 minutes to be seen. They do on-site X-rays and gave me treatment for my back injury this last time (they gave me two shots in my butt and it hurt like heck). The place is sterile and modern (extremely clean) and the employees--doctors, nurses, and receptionist--are extremely nice. If you have insurance that will pay for this place, I HIGHLY recommend. Staff is so rude at the Priority Urgent Care off of Allen Rd. I don't know if it is because it the evening shift possibly no supervision. They were trying to give my husband a covid test when it is not related to covid but more of being preventive. They didn't do anything for my husband and they want to bill the insurance. I took my granddaughter in during her visit with me as she had poison oak. After making an appointment, and waiting, the receptionist said she could not be seen as I was not the parent. When I advised I had brought her brother in a few weeks earlier, it was never an issue that I was not the legal guardian. My granddaughter was denied treatment even though I had a note from her parent and all her insurance information. Their policy is arbitrary and discriminatory. My young granddaughter had to endure an extra day of painful itching until I could get her into another facility. Whatever happened to "First, do no harm!" Love this place! I was in severe pain with a Kidney Stone attack and instead of going to a Hospital ER, I decided to tough it out and go here to save the ER cost because of lousy insurance. (that's a whole other issue)! I was dying but you have to wait your turn. I'm not sure if I was rolling on the floor they would take you in but I was committed not to go to the expensive ER. When it was my turn, they quickly assessed the situation and gave ma a shot of Morphine and I can't tell you how relieved I was. I've gone back several times for follow ups and they have been treating a few other health issues I have. Dr. Alvarez is the one I see most and he is very good at listening and recommending the right prescriptions. Dr. Bailey helped me today and she is also very good. John, the Medical Assistant, is very good at taking care of requests as well. These Doctors are knowledgeable and caring. I will return there for all my urgent care needs. read more

Went in with kidney problems last week - there were four people ahead of me and two doctors actively seeing patients. After 2.5 hours of waiting in the lobby, another 30 minutes of me waiting after seeing the Dr, I finally just walked out of my room and confronted all three nurses and both doctors because I could very clearly hear them loudly gossiping about patients and peoples divorces while all five patient rooms are full of sick and waiting patients. Once confronted, they all went quiet, Dr. Jared Cox wrote me my prescriptions and I handed the last one right back to him after reading it because I am VERY ALLERGIC to it, as was clearly marked on my intake slip and record. After alerting him, I watched him fact-check me on his iPhone before conceding that he was wrong before writing me a new Rx. I said to him and his nurse while he wrote that that would have been really scary had I not cared enough to look and just filled the scrip blindly, to which they replied, and I quote, "well the pharmacy would have caught it anyway". Really?? Fast forward to a week later, I've followed up with my Primary Care Physician and she's requested that my bloodwork results be forwarded to her from Sendas. Sendas failed on this request (they received the request from my primary care doctor on Monday, today is Friday) and my Primary Care Physician's receptionist told me by phone, "honestly this is a trend with them, we'll have better luck if you just walk in and have them hand the results to you". So I did just that. The receptionist at Sendas today rolls her eyes at my request to retrieve my lab results, begrudgingly locates my paperwork and then asks me if I know the fax number to my Dr's office. I tell her no, but I imagine that that information would be readily available on the transfer request that Sendas received on Monday. She bluntly replies, "well we never got this so called request of yours". I tell her to just hand the lab results to me and I'll take the paperwork over myself, she replies with "well I'm not sure you want to do that, it'll cost you $15". I pay her her fee, because it is truly easier to just do so and leave rather than stay and deal with her attitude. She moves papers around for a while to stall, starts making copies after she realizes I'm not sitting down to wait for her anymore and then hands me someone else's private medical records mixed in with mine. I read through the paperwork in my car before I left... saw a diagnosis on the sheet that didn't make sense, looked up at the name at the top and realized it was not my report at all. I understand that we all have bad days at work, but the level of incompetence demonstrated over the last week at this facility is truly stunning. read more

My daughter went here for a serious illness, and she was treated well. One of her prescriptions was missing, so I visited the office late in the day because my daughter lives out of town. I was very frustrated and not super nice. The receptionists treated me politely and got Sara to help me. Sara called the prescription in and called me back before 8:00 AM the next morning. I was seen, and asked to be tested for the flu. I had to ask two separate times to be tested for the flu because they only wanted to test for Covid. I was also prescribed an antibiotic that would be sent to my pharmacy. I waited for about an hour after my appointment, and contacted my pharmacy to see if my prescription was ready. Nothing was ever sent over, and by this time urgent care was closed. I called Priority this morning to get my results and explain that my prescription was not sent over yesterday. The receptionist was very unsympathetic, and only told me that their system is down for the day. She was not able to look into my file, and I would have to call back later. I was expecting the staff to be a little more friendly, and apologetic for my prescription not being sent over the previous day. I ended up going to Accelerated Urgent care. They were amazing and fast. They also listened to my concerns about being tested for the flu, not only Covid. And I ended up positive for the flu. I felt like Covid testing was being pushed too much at Priority, and my request for the flu test was being pushed to the side. read more

Came here yesterday (Sunday) b/c I figured I had a sinus infection. I was seen without much of a wait. I was told to come back the next day for another shot of antibiotics. I figured I would just go back and get my shot, but apparently I have to wait like everyone else even though I am not seeing the dr. There were 10 people ahead of me when I got here. Very upset. Just got a bill in the mail for past due balance on my account. The center has signs all over saying that unless your balance is paid, you will not be seen. I've always known this and always asked the person at the front desk. The very last time I went in for a check-up, they had said that I did not have a balance. So I paid my normal 10.00 co-pay. Now I am surprised to receive this bill MONTHS later. When I called the billing department about this issue, the woman said that sometimes the front desk doesn't tell you about the balance, they just let you go in anyway. Really? read more

I filled in some paperwork and waited around 10 minutes until the doctor called me in, he checked my vitals and didn't waste anytime diagnosing me. After a particularly nasty run-in with the flu, I decided to stop by this Urgent Care facility to ensure that my lungs were still in good working order. Quite an ordeal to find this place based on the address alone; it's actually in (what else?) a mini-mall with the entrance facing a parking lot! Once situated, the facility, staff and professionalism were very much in evidence. If you've ever wanted to have a chest X-ray in a Starbucks building, this is your place! I was in and out in less than an hour, EVERY staff member was courteous, GAVE ME EYE CONTACT, and was very clear and concise in their directives. If you have an untimely medical situation, I highly recommend this facility. A nurse informed me that their new facility on Ming Ave. is even NICER; I have to wonder if there's a latte and scone concession, along with a car wash and clothing boutique. read more

I want to start off by stating that I have been here multiple times and have always had a good experience until today. I came in at 8:00 on the dot and was quickly checked in and asked to wait. An hour later (I'm not sure if the doctor got there an hour late, only two people ahead of me.) I was called to the back, the tech that took my vitals was very helpful and nice. Sat in a room for about 15 more minutes, until the doctor walked in. I happened to answer a work phone call as the doctor walked in and tried to get off the phone while apologizing to the doctor, but he decided to speak to me like you would a child and said, "Your phone is more important I'll come back" I thought he was joking as I was trying to get off the phone, but the doctor walked out and slammed the door behind him. I sat there in a bit of shock I had never had that happen to me. After another 15 minute wait I decided to open the door and the doctor was just standing there. When I asked how much longer it would take he continued with his condescending tone. He barked at me, "go back in the room and wait for me, I will be with you when I'm with you, or do you have some place better to be." At this point I asked where I could check out because I didn't appreciate how I was being spoken to. I don't understand how someone that educated could be so rude and was a bit in shock. I wasn't rude to the doctor in the least bit, and I had tried to apologize when the phone incident first happened. Called this afternoon to get the name of the physician on this morning and was told Dr. Alvarez. I will definitely not be going back to this urgent care which is a shame because I've always had a good experience. read more

Well today I went in and seen Dr. Levens she was absolutely over the top! I don't think I've ever been to a better doctor. Not even my regular Doctor Who is out of town.She Actually read through my chart to try to determine why I was there for the third time. Went in thinking I had a sinus infection but informed the doc that I had one sided facial swelling and muscle weakness. (By the time I made it to urgent care, I could no longer move the left side of my face). Symptoms I had never had with my almost yearly sinus infections. It was scary and impacting my vision due to pressure behind my eyes. Doc did not examine my face. He checked my breathing over my windbreaker jacket. Threw a z pack and nasal spray my way and sent me out. I continued to worsen and did my research to find I had all the classic symptoms for Bells Palsy. My primary was shocked and disappointed that this doc did not catch it and costed me several days of proper treatment. The worst part is that I presented very similar to a stroke...scary to think a doctor could've let me walk out of an urgent care with stroke symptoms. DO NOT GO HERE. Dr Levins treated my wife for a UTI. They sent a blood sample in for tests. They called my wife to tell her to go to an ER, that things were so bad she shouldn't leave the city! We rushed to an ER and they said she was fine. Because of Dr Levins scare tactics we now owe 1600 dollars for an ER visit. Also, I went back because I figured it may have been a misunderstanding. NOPE still terrible. Dr Levins wanted me to get an x-ray I could not afford. Had to explain to her that most people can't afford random x-rays. I took my daughter there for an infection to her toe, after having a surgery 8 weeks prior. They were very efficient. They gave her thorough treatment. The wait was not long.
