I found this place via yelp and I called Michael on a late Friday evening about a detail for my Lamborghini Gallardo Performante. He was very responsive and answered the phone right away and told me he could make it out Saturday morning. We had to figure out some locational issues because our hotel Alila Marea Beach Resort would not allow us to detail on premises. Michael recommended us to use the location that his friend owned across the street which was perfect. Michael's communication was legit, the guy would text me 10-15 minutes before he left, 15 mins before he arrived and also 10 mins before he was done with the car. This is the second time Michael has come through for me. The first was to correct spray paint overspray all over my truck that was the result of a neighbors handyman doing work on a windy day. Michael worked with me to come up with a plan that wouldn't break the bank and even taught me the process of removing the overspray. Wanting to surprise my partner with a clean car after an extended trip out of state, I started searching for a mobile detail company which offered interior-only detailing options. My primary concerns were not only finding a service willing to be flexible with my schedule (as I was able to only provide short notice after waiting for a reply from a "green" car wash company, but to no avail), but also a service which would be transparent about pricing and accepted payment methods.** Upon reading several stellar reviews on Yelp, I visited the company website, which featured a button reading, "Email a Photo for an Instant Quote." I recalled thinking to myself, "I wonder if the company's representation of "instant" is an apt description or better characterized as sales puffery. Fortunately, within (literally!) five minutes of submitting my interior detail quote request via email, Mike called me to schedule an appointment and arrived to complete the interior detailing a mere two hours later. Mike was prompt, communicative, approachable, and exceptionally accommodating throughout the process. Though I had several high-priority items to complete throughout the day (as my partner planned to arrive the following evening), Mike assuaged my anxieties with his professional candor and sincere support. I originally delayed writing my review, anticipating I'd incorporate my partner's actual feedback and am happy that I did, as said partner's trip was extended last minute for an additional 6 days. When I finally arrived to pick him up from the airport, the interior detail truly looked as "pristine" as the date the service was performed. In fact, the quality of detailing was so remarkable that even at 8 pm, well after dark, it was one of the first things about which my partner noticed. Of course I was pleased, as my surprise proved successful (evidenced by his unsolicited, unprompted commentary). Needless to say, both he and I were absolutely astonished and grateful with the maintained state of the interior. I take back my review from 12/7/2019. The paint sealant applied then didn't even last 4 months, let alone as stated on the website (https://sandiego-autodetail.com/paint-sealant/) "One application can last two years!". When I called to discuss last week, I got a hem and haw, "...really depends on the car and where it is parked, the air quality where you live, etc...". Maybe after the service 12/17/19, those details should have been discussed and a (realistic) plan made to ensure the paint on my new car would remain adequately protected. The website claims "protects paint and other automotive surfaces from UVA and UVB rays, dirt, brake dust, iron contaminants, bugs, bird droppings, tar, and all sorts of environmental contaminants for two years". THIS IS FALSE!!! My new car was not protected from these things. Especially the bugs and bird droppings. They almost seem permanently baked in to my paint. After my car is washed now, it is dull with visible baked in stains. I don't see the "durable, super high gloss coating", again claimed on the website. read more

Michael (Dreebin) detailed my M3 and I almost didnt sell it cause it looked so good. It did sell tho, in a price war. Then I bought the Mercedes and was suckered into the $500 sealant. Car looked like crap. I called Michael. After the short lecture of "You bought a black car?!" he got to work. NOW the car looks amazing.
