I had Michael do an exterior detailing, including a wash, clay bar and a ceramic polishing (not sealing... different process). Michael of Pristine is great. He arrived at my home within 15 minutes of talking to him. I had water leak and the dye from a peach M3 Post it note leaked on my passenger seat. Some black leaked as well. Michael is very knowledgeable and will try everything in his possession to get it out. Michael explained everything and although easily got the black out, was unable to get the peach dye out (not from lack of trying) and would not charge me. The first time I used him I had a good experience. However, this last time was a total joke. He completely missed two compartments in my center console that we're still dirty. There was also water spots on my chrome wheels. For $300+ dollars I would expect my vehicle to be completely...well, pristine! Let me tell you about the kind of guy that Michael is...I drove my husband's BRAND NEW car less than a week after he bought it and managed to spill leftovers in the front passenger seat. Grease stains on tan interior. UGH! I was freaking out. I called Michael (after hours) expecting to get a voicemail. Instead he actually answered the phone, and even though he had a full day scheduled the following day he agreed to meet me early in the morning because the longer the stain waits, the worse it would get. He was so nice and told me honestly that grease on a cloth tan interior might not completely come out. He made the stain MUCH lighter (you can hardly see it) and then, get this, since it didn't completely come out, he didn't charge me. I mean, who does that? Such a great guy - when the new car needs a detail I will definitely be bringing it back to him. My husband hardly noticed the stain, so I managed to live another day. lol :-) read more
