Hired to re-pipe from Galvanized to PEX late 2021. Crawlspace Rambler Style home. 1 kitchen sink 2 bathroom sinks 1 tub/shower 1 Water Heater 60' of main water line to the street directionally bored under driveway 2 hose bibs 1 Washer Bid came in competitive with 3 other bids. It wasn't the cheapest and also not the most expensive. Nick and Olivia were the best part of the experience. The boring company rescheduled on us but Pristine still came in to lay lines on the home side. 1st day Nick worked on the inside of the home prepping, while Josh & an apprentice worked under the home running lines in the crawlspace. Very adamant about absolutely NO sharkbite fittings were to be on the final product. Since the boring company rescheduled, to get the water still running while waiting they decided to adapt the incoming lines from galvanized to PEX for the time being. The problem with that is that none of the cartridges were removed before turning the water back on, so it shot rust chunks to a few cartridges, which I cleared and wasn't that big of a problem, didn't even mention it to the guys. After the boring company came in, Nick was there to oversee that process and then sent Josh to finish up the main line to water heater, get the old galvanized out and connect the pex under the house etc. Took him 7+ hours to run a few lines to the water heater & left all the pipes outside of the wall..... after he was done he told me he would be back tomorrow to straighten it up and place the pex in the wall..... Water heater supply lines started leaking almost immediately after he left and I had to call him back at 11pm, but he did come back and fix it. Next day comes to re-do the prior work and again takes multiple hours to "fix" it. After he was gone nothing was leaking, great. Although it looked atrocious. I also mentioned to him that the mainline going into the crawlspace was connected using a sharkbite fitting and that 100% needed to be fixed with expansion fittings which he did end up fixing. Next day...main line started to leak so I called Olivia and she sent out a plumber and he ended up redoing the entire setup josh had done prior for the main line. No leaks now, great. During this time I had brought up concern about how no one had come to inspect Josh's work under or inside the house and was told someone would come and check it out. No one ever did. Few months go by and just looking at the water heater setup I just knew it wasn't right, josh had used a sharkbite fitting adapter and placed piping insulation over it to hide it. I called and sent pictures to Olivia and she was awesome, sent out Nick and another guy to check it out and apologized profusely for the work and told me they'd be there to fix it and inspect all Josh's work in the crawlspace. Day of the water heater fix I get a call saying Nick was out so they sent over another plumber which I had never met. He re-did the water heater and i once again brought up concern about the entire job. He looked through the house and told me it looked terrible and took pics of everything. Did NOT go under the house to inspect, once again. I was again told he'd send the pics and someone would come out. Never heard back. .. Overall I wouldn't call it "pristine". Pretty sloppy to be honest. No leaks, but it was quite the hassle. 3 or 4 call backs and never a final inspection under the house. I'd be hesitant to recommend them. To be able to finish up drywall work I will need to have some of these lines re-done. read more

Pristine Plumbing was excellent! We had a faucet leak in an old 1950s apartment that was remodeled in the 80s (so, old pipes). We spoke with a couple of other plumbing companies in the Tacoma area which came out to view the issue and were not willing to fix it. Luckily, Pristine Plumbing sent us Raven, who quickly looked at our issue and was honest and patient enough to even educate us. He coordinated with the city and had it fixed within the next day! We literally sat back while Pristine Plumbing made coordinations with the city, saving us more work and a headache. They will definitely be our go-to plumbers in the future. Thanks, guys! read more

my contractor hired pristine plumbing to come in and fix a drain repair for me. The plumber put in the absolute wrong drainage system tore all the tile out of my shower around the drain and said, "just hire a tile guy to put the tile back in around the drain". When I hired a tile guy he said what the heck did they put in? this is the wrong drain system and I can't do anything with this tile. there is no waterproofing or anything to attach the tile to? if I replace them, as the first plumber from pristine suggested you would have a huge water leak and your kids could fall through the floor!!! when I reached out to pristine to let them know this the response I got was less than professional. Nick yelled at the tile guy who is just trying to help me, screamed at him told him he was shady and hung up on us! they took their flat rate of almost $1000 dollars and left me with an even worse situation that cost an additional $1700 to fix what their plumber did! not customer centric, horrible customer service, and now fraud. didn't do the job correctly and left me to foot the bill. LESS THAN IMPRESSED!! mortified actually. who speaks to a woman like that. I'm not a professional plumber I had no idea what I was looking at. To be taken advantage like that is JUST WRONG! This is the first time we used pristine plumbing service. We were kind of surprised they fixed it! Because our kitchen sink is clogged every year. Another plumbing company came last week and they were not able to fix it. Matt from Pristine Plumbing came and did a great job. He was patient to try different approaches to fix the clog. In the end he identified the issue and used the snake from clean out. Please note not every company staff is willing to open the clean out and start from there because nasty and smelly stuff could come out. But Matt did it without hesitation. Pristine Plumbing was hired by my home warranty company to do repairs. They left the job after dirtying my freshly painted walls and front door with black gunk, after chipping my sink when they replaced the stopper, after causing a toilet they worked on to leak at the base, after leaving the hot water turned off, and after leaving the hot water heater circuit breaker off. They refused to come back, didn't apologize, and said they are too busy with new construction to bother with warranty claims. Nick was extremely rude and had ZERO customer service skills. Water heater wasn't working at our house. We called Pristine Plumbing and they worked with us to send someone as quickly as they could. The technician made a quick diagnosis and fix, but by the time we discovered it actually didn't fix anything, it was already late in the day and the tech was gone. We called Olivia and she was super understanding, and went out of her way to send another tech the next day outside of normal working hours who made sure to stick around until the root cause was 100% confirmed and the water heater was up and running. Mark came out for our whole home filter install today, but had the foresight to explore whether or not we had taken the time to do a test of our current water. He wanted to make sure whatever we're doing will actually fix the problem we're having with mineral deposits and not just complete a task we asked them to do. I received a text 30 minutes prior to the appointment letting me know that Nick was on his way. Nick and Tioram showed up a few minutes early. They were courteous and professional. We bought a 1971 time capsule back in November and fell in love with what could be with a little vision. Nick's team helped it come to life! Yesterday, they installed a new gas line from the front of the house to the upper level for a future kitchen remodel that would include a gas range. Along with that they plumbed outside to our upper deck for a future built in BBQ and fire table. They were the first to quote the project, and after theirs came in lower than the rest, the skeptic in me wanted to make sure the quality was good. Installation of a tankless water heater and whole house water filtration system on a well. Overall, I think there is a lack of capacity to perform and there was no followup to questions/concerns about the operation of the system. Once the bill was paid, there was no follow-up on issues that we were having. I will say they did install the two items but make sure you are comfortable with everything for a week before you pay in full. I would also like to make a statement in general that contractors should put their phones down and focus. I would estimate that the job would have been done faster if their were less interruptions. read more

Called yesterday spoke with Kyle (plumber) to schedule a quote for leak and 2 bathroom remodels. Apparently company phone was being directed to him instead of his dispatcher. Anyways... verified said Pristine Plumbing would be out Friday 12/8 between 10am-12pm. Took the day off of work for this appointment but nobody ever showed up! So i called the company line which went straight to Kyle again. Asked him if anyone was coming out to do my quote. I could hear a child in the background, so it was probably his day off. He said someone should have come out because he sent all the information to his dispatcher. And that she was supposed to put it in the schedule. Offered to reschedule again in another 3days. Told him no thanks, i need this leak fixed now. Luckily my day wasn't a total loss of wages... I ended up finding another plumbing & remodeling company who sent someone out and was at my door in 30min. read more
