Drop ear 90 attempted to be secured from back

Hired to re-pipe from Galvanized to PEX late 2021. Crawlspace Rambler Style home. 1 kitchen sink 2 bathroom sinks 1 tub/shower 1 Water Heater 60' of main water line to the street directionally bored under driveway 2 hose bibs 1 Washer Bid came in competitive with 3 other bids. It wasn't the cheapest and also not the most expensive. Nick and Olivia were the best part of the experience. The boring company rescheduled on us but Pristine still came in to lay lines on the home side. 1st day Nick worked on the inside of the home prepping, while Josh & an apprentice worked under the home running lines in the crawlspace. Very adamant about absolutely NO sharkbite fittings were to be on the final product. Since the boring company rescheduled, to get the water still running while waiting they decided to adapt the incoming lines from galvanized to PEX for the time being. The problem with that is that none of the cartridges were removed before turning the water back on, so it shot rust chunks to a few cartridges, which I cleared and wasn't that big of a problem, didn't even mention it to the guys. After the boring company came in, Nick was there to oversee that process and then sent Josh to finish up the main line to water heater, get the old galvanized out and connect the pex under the house etc. Took him 7+ hours to run a few lines to the water heater & left all the pipes outside of the wall..... after he was done he told me he would be back tomorrow to straighten it up and place the pex in the wall..... Water heater supply lines started leaking almost immediately after he left and I had to call him back at 11pm, but he did come back and fix it. Next day comes to re-do the prior work and again takes multiple hours to "fix" it. After he was gone nothing was leaking, great. Although it looked atrocious. I also mentioned to him that the mainline going into the crawlspace was connected using a sharkbite fitting and that 100% needed to be fixed with expansion fittings which he did end up fixing. Next day...main line started to leak so I called Olivia and she sent out a plumber and he ended up redoing the entire setup josh had done prior for the main line. No leaks now, great. During this time I had brought up concern about how no one had come to inspect Josh's work under or inside the house and was told someone would come and check it out. No one ever did. Few months go by and just looking at the water heater setup I just knew it wasn't right, josh had used a sharkbite fitting adapter and placed piping insulation over it to hide it. I called and sent pictures to Olivia and she was awesome, sent out Nick and another guy to check it out and apologized profusely for the work and told me they'd be there to fix it and inspect all Josh's work in the crawlspace. Day of the water heater fix I get a call saying Nick was out so they sent over another plumber which I had never met. He re-did the water heater and i once again brought up concern about the entire job. He looked through the house and told me it looked terrible and took pics of everything. Did NOT go under the house to inspect, once again. I was again told he'd send the pics and someone would come out. Never heard back. .. Overall I wouldn't call it "pristine". Pretty sloppy to be honest. No leaks, but it was quite the hassle. 3 or 4 call backs and never a final inspection under the house. I'd be hesitant to recommend them. To be able to finish up drywall work I will need to have some of these lines re-done.

So naturally, I did some research and ended up contacting Zoom Drain. They wrote me back immediately and were able to send out Jeremy Linson to come out and give me a quote, it was a little spendy, but worth it due to his technical proficiency, expedience, and willingness to spread some knowledge, plus I got hooked up with a minor discount! A big shout out and thank you to Zoom Drain and your tech Jeremy, if I have issues in the future you guys will be my first contact! Thanks You

I'm a curious homeowner and I want to be involved on work at my home. We waited for the actual pump truck to arrive but it took only about 20 min. He had the covers up and was assessing how full it was in the meantime. The 2 guys from the pump truck were very friendly. They all work well together. At the end I went over the charges one at a time bc if I'm spending thousands on my home, I want to understand and approve of the numbers. He didn't mind at all. It took about 1.5 hours for the service give or take. They didn't leave a mess behind and our inspection papers will be filed. I can't say enough good things about this company. The office staff messaged me thru my yelp project which sent the convo to my phone via text. Receipt is emailed along with photos. Straightforward. Easy. Simple. One word of advice that if you decide to stay outside to watch and learn and look into the tank to see the before and after you will feel nausuous. I didn't feel it until after when I went back into the house. I won't be eating munch today. Call them for septic needs!!!!

After reaching out to several companies who were very vague about what they would charge, flohawks gave me a solid quote (with other information about contingency costs that may be involved if other problems were found). It was so refreshing to have someone willing to just tell me at least a general cost so I could prepare. There was a slight delay in getting them out to us because of a truck of thiers that had some mechanical issues, but we rescheduled and once Jeff arrived he was able to get the job done in a very reasonable amount of time and the cost was spot on what we were quoted. I was so impressed that their quote was something they stood by. It was pouring rain and I felt absolutely awful for the poor guy but he got the job done and he did it well. I couldn't be more pleased with this outcome; the cost, the customer service, and the hard work that Jeff put in. Thanks a ton!

I've left messages and gotten called back 8 hours later. - They also don't do any kind of expecation setting. I sat around all morning waiting to hear when they'd show up because I was told yesterday that I'd be first thing in the morning. At 10:30 they called to say they didn't know when the guy would be there as he was on another job. At 10:33, literally three minutes later the same girl called back to say he was on his way. - The people on the phone clearly know nothing about the industry they work in, which is problematic when they have to figure out the right person to send to a job. My septic backed up Friday, guy came out to pump it, explicitly told me he couldn't fix the cause and that I needed one of their technicians. He put that in his notes and asked for a follow up. I called and explained the same thing to them that we had already been pumped, but needed someone to diagnose the root cause. On Tuesday when they finally got some one out to deal with the root cause they sent the same guy who already said he couldn't do it. I tried multiple times to explain to the office staff the issue and who I needed to show up, and their solution was to put me in as a sales lead for their sales staff... I hate to traffic in tropes, but this really felt like a cliche business where they hire a bunch of ditsy girls to answer the phones who don't know anything about the business and then call in the men to answer any of the technical questions and make sales. I'll never be calling them again.

This company has changed. And not for the better…read more A week ago I called to schedule an appointment for a leaky faucet in my house. An AI voice answered the phone, asked me why I was calling, told me it was going to look up my account details, said it had a problem and that someone would contact me to follow up, and then hung up on me. A few hours later I got a text from "Cameron". I complained to "Cameron" about the experience I had from the AI phone answerer. "Cameron" apologize and told me that such an experience would frustrate him too...then "Cameron" decided to be transparent with me and tell me that he was in fact AI as well and "his" real name was "Carson". We went back and forth about 6 times to explain the problem I was having and to set up an appointment. Then "Cameron" told me that the time we worked out wasn't confirmed yet and that someone would be calling me to confirm the time. Thanks, "Cameron". This was Friday around 4:00PM. THE NEXT MORNING, a human being (I think) texted me from the same number to confirm the appointment. After I let them know how unhappy I was with the AI scheduling service, a human (I think) did call me and apologized for it. Then, on the day of the appointment, the technician arrived an hour and a half after the 12:00-16:00 window we had set up. I had to call them at 16:30 to ask if the technician was coming and they told me he would be there soon. When he did arrive, in the middle of me making dinner for my family, he told me that the faucet would need to be replaced and that it would be $750 (!!) in labor to fix it. Then I was charged $83 for his time (which I guess would be rolled into the service). So, in the end I still had a leaky faucet and I was out $83 with the option to pay $670 to replace a faucet (plus the cost of the faucet itself). For that price, I'm just going to do it myself. Then the spam texts started coming from "Cameron" asking about the estimate. I got one every day until I told it to stop texting me. This company used to be great but I'm going to be looking around the next time I need a plumber. Please ditch this stupid AI system. Please don't charge your customers if you're extremely late for your own four hour window - especially if the diagnosis takes five minutes and is "I can't fix it - replace the faucet".

These guys were honest, straightforward, and focused on fixing the actual problem.
