Rich Ross and Jeff showed up wearing masks, used shoe protectors on their first visit, and used drop cloths during work. The work was performed using state-of-the-art pex fittings. We converted Garage bathroom into bathroom and laundry and needed hot and cold water and new sink location drain. Work done within 3.5 hours. Very competent doing construction-type work that other plumbers avoid. I asked them to do another small job with a Moentrol shower faucet valve handle repair that has been a nagging problem. I help manage a small 4-plex building in the Tacoma area. My tenant complained of a water leak in the wall of her bathroom, and our handyman discovered a slow slab leak coming from the waste pipe. Our building handyman is a gentleman in his early 60's and said the repair would require concrete drilling with equipment he did not own and was not physically able to complete. Our handyman recommended finding a plumber online that deals with slab leak repairs. Our handyman said this repair could go well into the $2k-3k range. While driving on Canyon Road in Puyallup, I was stopped at a red light next to a work van with a large "Rossco Service Plumbers" logo. I figured, what the heck, and researched them online. After reading several great reviews on yelp and google, I gave Rossco Service Plumbers a call. In speaking with Richie the owner, I sent over photos of the slab leak and a description of what was needed. Richie gave me a quote of $2-$3k to complete the work and would take about 6-8 hours to complete -- which was right in-line with what my handyman stated. I scheduled a repair appointment the following week. On the day of service, Richie and his team arrived on-time and evaluated the area with 3 of his plumber technicians. Richie discussed the repairs with his lead plumber technician Jeff and another gentleman. Jeff and the other gentleman proceeded to make the repairs. Jeff and the other gentleman plumber tech were professional, knowledgable, and kept me informed throughout the process. They both wore face coverings through the entire process. It seems the slab leak was caused by foundation movement over the years that had caused a small crack in the piping. Minimal cement was removed, the pipe was realigned, sealed and repaired, and a brace was placed around the repaired piping. After about 6 hours of work, the bill came to right at the low end of the estimate, $2k plus tax. I was so impressed with Jeff and his fellow plumber tech that day, I bought both gentleman lunch. The next day, I had our handyman evaluate the work. He was very impressed with the work Rossco Service Plumbers completed. Professional, on-time, and on budget. No up selling, add ons, or high pressure aggressive sales. Everything you can ask for in a service professional. Rossco Service Plumber's great reviews are well earned, and I highly recommend their services. As a busy landlord, it feels good to have a skilled and honest plumber that I can rely on. These two plumbers Jonathan and Jared did exquisite work and when I looked at what they had done I thought I was looking at something in an art gallery because they copper piping and the color of the water heater was so beautiful. And it took them about 3 hours and there are dials on the front of my water heater and up high enough so that I can look at them without breaking my back and I can set my water heater to whatever temperature I would like and the dials tell me what is happening when things go wrong it has eight things there to tell me what to do to fix it and why it is doing this. Amazing company. The water company changed their equipment and I did not have a bathtub to run cold water after so they said my shower would work. It didn't! dirt came through the lines when I turned on the hot water. The water company kindly came and took my filters off to clean them but did not put them back on tight enough. My sink leaked. I called Rossco plumbing and they came out at 8 am the next day. They saw my filters were the issue tightened them up and charged me NOTHING. They wished me a Merry Christmas and that was that. I have never had a service company not charge me no matter how long they were here. I am going to use them when ever I have issues. The technicians were very nice young men. This company had a very quick response time they came out to give me an estimate for free. The plumber who came was calling people supervisor and other people for my job in the middle of our conversation before I could even say my part. I felt very cut off. I was handling the repairs and didn't want him calling asking about insurance I wanted to pay. Then he gave me a rough estimate that the minimum was more than 50% over what insurance said the market rate was and what another company quoted me. His tone seemed he didnt want to bother with even giving me an actual price he just said over 900. I felt they were lacking in customer service and clarity. Myzell came to my house for two projects. The first one was an emergency. The shower in one bathroom won't shut off. I had to turn off the main shut off valve on the street. He was able to replace the worn shower cartridge. Got lucky because he said that was the last one in his service truck. He saved the day. The second time was scheduled. He replaced the bad shower valve. It was a major project. He had to cut open the back side of the wall to access the valve. He got done in two hours. He did very well. He kept the work area clean.
