Best Vet EVER! Dr. Burns truly cares about her patients. A few years ago, I had a super old gecko slowly dying, and this is when I first made contact with Dr. Burns. She helped guided me on making my gecko feel as comfortable as possible. I referred my mom to Dr. Burns for her dog mom. She made sure my mom understood what was happening with the symptoms of her dog and that she felt comfortable with the treatment. We ordered some medication with a Vets prescription, paid the $6 and change for 3 day delivery. After not getting an email of any kind saying that the order was shipped after 2 days then 3 days, we were calling numerous times, but no answer, just a message saying to leave a message and that someone would contact us soon....No one called us back, then tried the following day and they replied to the phone number I was calling from saying "to better service your needs please text us your concern and someone will call me back".....Again, nothing. I would give 0 if I could. Worst service ever!! They charged me twice 195 and didn't book the appointment for the correct date. I called right away and the employee Melissa confirmed that it was a mistake and the manager will call me and fix the error and not to worry. Finally the manager (very rude) called me on the 24th and said she is not going to fix anything because " I probably picked the wrong date" and she hung up on me. If I could give 10 stars I would! I thought I was being over-the-top booking an at-home vet appointment. But my cat HATES going to the vet so much, it's such a bad experience for him. Having PAC come to our home, where my cat feels safe and comfortable, was a game changer. The care, patience, and kindness they provided my cat during the appointment made it such an easier experience for everyone. I felt heard and was never rushed. The whole team was so knowledgeable, gentle, and considerate. I couldn't believe they even got him to eat a snack during an ear cleaning - shocked. I feel so much more at ease and finally confident in a treatment plan. I really appreciated the western/eastern approach so that another antibiotic band aid isn't slapped onto a problem area. If your pet needs a regular check up at $200 a pop you will most likely survive ok BUT if your pet is sick and or needs medication and or needs help with meds once they prescribed them & continues to have issues, do not use this service. They will ghost you for days at a time - they will not respond to emails at all - on the doctors "days off" forget about it - which would be fine but sick animals do not take days off. Really unprofessional, they have left me hanging with 2 sick cats and no options - frankly I am pretty sure I got scammed. They also victim blame as in "we are so busy" we just can't get back to you - but somehow that's my fault yeah right ok. Dr. Burns seemed like a good option because of the virus but I regret it and both cats are sicker than they were at the time of the appointment. Shocked at their blatant disregard and poo-pooing of my urgent concerns. Oh she also said she had been vaccinated - come to find out she only had the first dose not 2 + her assistant had not been vaccinated at all. **02-19-21 - update - she diagnosed 1 of my cats as being sick because I was feeding him the wrong food ie grain free vs. w/grain & that he would be better in 4-6 weeks - went to another vet - turns out he has GI cancer w/ weeks to live.*** Also severely up-charges - on ear cleaning & teeth cleaning solutions. We are taking the time to submit this review for Krystal Burns, DVM because of the amazing help we received, and for the many other animal lovers who find themselves in the utterly frightening spectre of dealing with a sick beloved pet. Dr. Burns is a gifted doctor and healer. She and her team were more than equipped and prepared to set up a mobile clinic right in our living room (100% Covid responsible) and proceeded to competently treat what would be described as critical and complicated cases. After our first consultation we were no longer terrified, discouraged and hopeless. Both exams of our senior cats Jake & Frankie were seamless from the blood and urine tests to the IV treatment, and they experienced minimal pain. She was more than generous with her time, detailing the situation for both cats and what our part could be going forward. Within 24 hours we had a precise and clear summary of her findings, instructions for medication and recommended treatment. Lastly, I cannot write this review without acknowledging her wonderful team which speaks volumes about the remarkable person and doctor she is. I'm not against natural healing, but I think a more accurate representation of the practice should be extremely clear to all: it's natural and not a regular clinic using modern medicine. It isn't good business practice to tell me my dog's skin issues would be 100% resolved, when I came to find out that I had to keep applying natural creams for the rest of her life. Dr. Burns is amazing. She was the only vet who would respond to my beloved goat with a broken leg. She came that day, then came back week after week, to change out his splint and give him a cold laser treatment. I didn't really believe in laser treatment but it 100% helped my Sly. I am responding to the review actually because the business owners response to the review is a complete falsehood and I have documentation to prove this. I do not have any text, emails or phone records of the staff contacting me and letting me know that they were going to be late. I sent the apology email, not the staff. I requested the refund and made the executive decision that this was not gonna work out. In fact, I am on record stating this is not going to work out. This doctor responding to me while I am dealing with a dog that is dying and the only reason that I am up at 4 AM clearly has a problem. And she called out my unaffiliated business on a public platform so I will likely be suing her. Dr. Burns, I suggest you remove the review. Look deep inside at your response and mine and look into your staff. What they told you versus the reality of what happened before you make such horrible accusations, and lies and slander and libel against an unrelated business. All I said was that I was mobile. We discovered Dr. Burns in late 2022 when we had her treat our little Dachshund that had injured her shoulder which she quickly got over using laser and acupuncture. Dr. Burns is well-equipped, does both western and eastern veterinary medicine and is so patient, compassionate and knowledgeable. Home care is more expensive and not a substitute for emergency care, but for many forms of treatment and wellness care it is so much easier on your pet and she explains everything and really takes the time to go over everything thoroughly unlike your typical 15 minute office visit. Unfortunately, our little girl had Cushing's which Dr. Burns helped to diagnose a few months later from symptoms and blood work (and she had a non-operable tumor and other issues discovered through ultrasound). Given our dog's age and prognosis, we opted to treat her at home, holistically, so we saw a lot of Dr. Burns over the next 3 months. She made our little girl's last months very comfortable right to the end and is like family to us! Dr. Burns is a real treasure. Her only fault is she needs to be cloned as she is expanding her practice into bricks and mortar as well as mobile so we need 10 of her! read more

Dr. Burns is a great vet! My cat stopped eating due to a major respiratory issue. After going to several other vets who just kept giving me the same antibiotic over and over again, even when I told them it wasn't working, Dr. Burns determined that my cat was essentially immune to most antibiotics and found one that worked. After a few days he was able to smell his food again and began eating on his own. Also, the convenience of her coming to your home is much less stressful for your pets! read more

Last year, during the summer of Covid, two of my cats needed attention and my regular vet was closed. I contacted Dr. Krystal Burns, mobile vet extraordinaire. One of my cats had been ill for 10 years and never got better with the other vet...well, Dr. Burns assessed him and did some tests and got him on western meds, chinese herbs, and made dietary changes. Even though my cat has a serious problem, he is actually doing better than he has in years (literally...years). We are so happy! Dr. Burns has treated my other cats also. I cannot say enough good things about our experience with Dr. Krystal Burns. When my senior dogs Bruno and Mocha were due for wellness checks, vaccinations, and medication refills I found out that the veterinary clinic where I took all my pets for the last 25 years was shut due to pandemic without giving me notice. I was referred to Dr. Krystal Burns - Private Animal Care by another clinic where they did not have any openings for new patients. It was the best thing that happened to my dogs and specifically for my 14- year- old arthritic Labrador Retriever, Bruno. Dr. Krystal Burns came to our home with her assistant. She did a thorough check on both my dogs and got them back on track with their health and wellness care. She combines Eastern and Western medicine and makes sure she explains in detail everything going on. Dr. Burns was able through acupuncture, herbal medicine and conventional medications to alleviate Bruno's arthritic hips, and he was able to walk better on his front paws which were compensating for the deficit in his hips and hind legs. Bruno was also having muscular problems in his jaws and she helped him regain strength in his jaws to where he was able to eat better. Two weeks ago, Bruno, my Labrador collapsed and Dr. Burns spent a good amount of time assessing him over the phone, guiding me to do what was necessary, then referred him to the hospital for testing and imagery. At the hospital they decided he was too old to attempt further treatment and recommended euthanasia. I opted to have it done at home and called Dr. Burns who came to the house the same day we came home with hospice instructions and a very sick dog. She suggested we give him a chance before moving on to the ultimate decision. Dr. Burns went above and beyond what I imagined any veterinarian would have done. She was there every day either over the phone or at home guiding me to care for Bruno, a senior dog she only met a few short months ago. Her compassion with Bruno as well as with my family and I who were going through the pain of the imminent loss of a beloved pet is something that we will forever be grateful for. This morning, Bruno, passed away and again Dr. Burns was available to comfort us and helped with arrangements to have him picked up for cremation. Thank you, Dr. Burns for all your love, compassion, knowledge and experience. I am eternally grateful for having you in our lives and glad to entrust you with the medical care of our second dog Mocha, and also our tortoise should the need arise. read more
