Doing some research on Auto Body Repair shops and I came across this location. Although it's appointment based only, Marcos the owner is open to accepting walk -ins for estimates only. (Just call prior to arrival to give him the heads up). This location is kind of tricky, however it's the gray building behind the Shell gas station in the alley. So just picked up my car from Marco on time per his original estimate and also just about at the estimated amount. He found some additional issues that required touch up and blending but he didn't charge extra (I like that). The color from the dealer is pearl white (cost extra) but sadly Kia did a shit job at the factory and the paint had a poor surface prep and should have been addressed by KIA but frankly their warranties suck and they don't honor them. I went to Privilege auto body with a warranty from Hyundai for interior cleaning and exterior paint. No one would take on the job and didn't want to go thru what they thought was a hassle to get paid, but Alex, the amazing woman who works there, worked with me diligently to get the company to honor the warranty that I had. Privilege Auto Body Shop is one of the most honest and dependable establishments that I've ever come across. They work with every possible price point you can afford, and let you know exactly what they're doing and for how much. The price point is always fair. In my case, I had a red kia soul that was a bit damaged paint wise (which I could've fixed myself), but I wanted someone with some expertise to do it right. At first, I went to a mainstream company like MAACO, and by their estimate I needed entirely new parts, custom exotic paints to exact match, and it would take 3-4 weeks to get the job done. Plus, they wanted $3000 for it! I was like: oh HELL NAW! Screw them! The damage wasn't that extensive. I seriously could've used a single bottle of nail polish to cover it, but I was willing to pay a little more for an expert to do better. Luckily, a bit later, while I was bored at work, I just happen to Google "auto body shops near me" and Privilege came up. I met with Marcos, the owner, and he basically told me bring it in the next morning, and it would be done by the afternoon. His team painted, buffed, and matched the color nearly perfectly, almost as if the scratches were never there. They did exactly what I needed, and my bill only came out to $50 bucks, all done in a single afternoon. THIS SHOP IS AAAMMMAAAZZIINNGGG!!!!! Everyone and their mother needs to come to this shop. Marcos and his team did an amazing job on my 1997 Jeep Wrangler Sahara. It was desperately in need of a paint job. I took it to them and they did a beautiful job. The problem was, when I came to pick it up --- as beautiful as it looked --I knew immediately it was the wrong color, the shade was off I got a huge knot in the pit of my stomach. I didn't want to be that person, so I drove away in the Jeep, and was just sick about it. I thought maybe I could get used to it, but I had expected it to be restored to the original paint color. I just couldn't imagine what would've happened so I did some research on Jeep, forums, and found old original color cards, and discovered that over the years Jeep/Chrysler reused the same color code for different shades of green. My green was a kind of army green with gold flecks in it. I had the original brochure with my original paperwork that showed the color more clearly along with old photos, which I brought in to show Marcos . The version of that color code that the supplier sent and that the shop painted the Jeep was slightly more sage green, which to me, had an entirely different vibe. To solve the problem for me they painted up multiple samples to get the right color match. That meant a lot! at Marcus's own expense, they repainted the jeep for me and it looks perfect! amazing! It looks as good as the day it rolled off the showroom floor... in the fall of 1996 ! The paint job on my 2008 Toyota Prius was looking a little the worse for wear after spending so many years baking in the LA sun. Marcos quickly replied to my request for a quote on a new paint job via Yelp, providing me a reasonable range of what to expect. When I took my car to his shop for a more specific quote, he was great about explaining everything they needed to do in detail and made recommendations on which parts didn't actually need a new paint job. (Some parts were repainted after a minor accident a few years ago.) His team did an excellent job on the paint and turned it around faster than expected! They did an amazing job blending the new paint to match the paint on the pieces they didn't redo. They even polished the old, yellow haze off my headlights, which I didn't expect but was pleased to see. All in all, they made my car look like new! Privilege deserves all of the 5 star reviews they have received! I brought my car by for an estimate after clipping a curb and pulling the side rocker moulding partially off of my minivan. Marcos was able to replace the broken clips with some pieces he had on hand and pop the moulding back into place - all while I waited. He also added a screw on the end for extra security, since the original one had broken off. He originally quoted me $60, which already seemed like a good deal - but he ended up sending me on my way at no charge! Even more important to me than the money savings was the time savings. I thought I'd be spending half my day getting estimates from various body shops, then needing to wait for parts to come in and schedule a day for the repair.
