Autobahn is my collision center of choice. Why? They do a great job project managing AND managing the insurance for you to make sure your car is exactly as it was before the accident. They negotiate with the insurance to make sure you get the appropriate part that is required to make sure your care is 100% like it was before the accident. In my case for example the insurance sent an aftermarket head light that did not fully work with my Lexus and James my project manager from Autobahn made sure that I got a Lexus OEM part. Also I like that you get your car back fully detailed so it has a nice touch when you get your vehicle back after an accident. Ridiculously long, continual delays in getting my car repair completed. Note that it finally got done in over twice the amount of time they gave me as the original estimate. I could see my job getting passed over by other work despite the fact that all my parts were in and I had been waiting longer. When I finally received the "finished " job, the shop had neglected to re install the front license plate holder. When I insisted it get re installed just like I brought in the vehicle, they had lost the screws and installed it with two screws that didn't match each other. Such Mickey Mouse work! The turn signal light still falls out of the repaired fender they installed, but I'm certainly not taking my vehicle back to them. I would not recommend this shop to anyone. Brought our car in for a repair estimate. The damage was minor but I expected an estimate exceeding $1500. Their representative was incredibly honest. He was informed our vehicle lease had two years remaining and suggested saving money and just using touch up paint. He also said if we really wanted the damage repaired he would perform the work at an incredibly low price even if we wait until the end of the lease. Tony was so friendly, knowledgeable and honest that he'd spent almost an hour talking me OUT OF fixing my car, a potentially $15K+ job! I have a pretty good idea about auto body and mechanical repairs and visited multiple shops for estimates and opinions before coming to Tony's. Upon seeing my car, Tony pointed out quite a few things that indicated more extensive damage that no other shop had noticed. It wouldn't make financial sense to repair the car due to the extent of damage and I'd be better off accepting a total loss payout from insurance. Autobahn did a wonderful job on my car. It looks brand new. It was very expensive though. Insurance covered part of it. I needed a new window, new steering wheel column, glass cleanup, and a scratch removed so two doors needed to be repainted. It's was over 4500$. Again amazing work, very good quality. Communication was subpar, which I understood to an extent because there was a situation that out of anyone's control. But I was told that a part was ordered and received, but when I call back several days later they said they had just received the part and would start working on my car. When my car got wrecked in an accident, I had it towed to this place because it was right next to a great indie BMW shop that I've been to a couple times. Anyway, it was a huge mistake. The person I spoke to on the phone had the nastiest attitude from a customer service representative I've ever experienced. The first time I spoke to her on the phone, I thought maybe she was just having a bad day. But I spoke to her a couple weeks later, and she dished out the same nasty attitude. But it wasn't just the attitude. After they told me that my car was totaled and that it would be towed to a salvage center, I asked if they could take out all the stuff from my car so I could come by and pick it up. They said they would do it. Well, they didn't. Not a big deal. But when you say you will do something. Either do it or communicate that you won't! read more

TLDR: I would give this a zero if possible. (And I don't give 1 star reviews)x I see that it has great reviews, and I cannot understand why. If I was looking up places to take my car, I would avoid this place and I would also not let your car get towed here! I will explain below. -Why this place isn't worth it. 2 large reasons. Full story below this if you care. If not, here is the summary. 1. Customer service was horrible to me. I dreaded calling this place because of the attitude I would get from the woman who answered the phone. There were excuses for everything, but also she couldn't answer any of the questions I asked and always had to call me back, and I never received calls back. Everything i had to say was not her problem and I was a weekly inconvenience by existing. The owner and mechanics seem a little more competent, but they have no urgency. I was told several times that cars were on their lot waiting for parts for over a year, as if that was a badge of honor, and not completely ridiculous. 2. Repair time. My car went to the shop on the tow truck and sat there for months before they had to give me the car back because not all the parts that come in. They still charged me the full amount, and then I had to hound them monthly about when the parts that I had already paid for it would be in so they can fix it. After they gave me the car back and I had paid in full I was an inconvenience to them that they wanted me to go away without fixing the parts that I had already paid for. Which I almost did to avoid having to deal with this place. What happened? My wife hit something on the road and it got stuck under her car. To be safe she had a tow truck come and lift the car to remove the debris before driving. Once up on the tow truck, they wouldn't take it down, and said a bunch of things could be wrong, and showed us the Yelp page for this place which had five stars, as if that was a reason we should go check our car out. Once at the shop: Of course, whenever you bring a car to a repair shop they're not gonna find it's perfect, instead there were several different things they said that was wrong with the car. I had no way of knowing, so in good faith we decided to fix everything that was wrong. That's my biggest mistake and I wish I went and got a second opinion! Timeline: We sat without a car for months because parts were supposed to be coming in. Finally around Christmas we were told there was no date for the parts that were supposed to come in, so I might as well go and take my car back and they would let me know when the parts came in. Wouldn't be that much of an issue but the following several months I had to hound this place to give me updates so that I could get the crucial parts to my car. They made me pay in full upon taking the car, or else I would have never come back to this place if I hadn't pre-paid for these parts. Also the first time I got my car back they gave it to me with 8 miles left in the tank. I definitely had about half a tank when I gave it to them, so possibly running it for several months would waste the gas, not saying it was siphoned,but getting it back with 8 miles it is very poor form. This didn't happen the second time I brought it. This could be a very specific story, and I'm the only person who had this experience, and everyone else has glowing reviews, but I don't buy it. This place is also so far off the beaten path that there are so many other positively rated auto places. If you find yourself here I suggest getting a second opinion! read more
