Terrible, terrible experience at this jewelry shop. I needed to get a yellow sapphire stone made in a gold ring for astrological reasons. I had been shopping around calling different shops and this place had the best price so I ended up driving 1.5 hours to this shop to chat more about the ring. I was told a 7 carat yellow sapphire stone made in 8 gram gold ring would be a certain price and that price could go up or down a little depending on how much gold is needed. So instead of it being exactly 8 grams, it would most likely be 8.1 grams or 7.9 grams or somewhere in between so the amount would change a little. I had absolutely no issue with that and said that's fine and I just needed to be updated on the price once Priya had the total. I also asked over the phone and in person how long it would take to make the ring and I was told 7-10 days which again, was no problem at all. I went ahead and said yes to the purchase and Priya told me she would be in contact with me via WhatsApp on the gem to get my approval to send to goldsmith to make. It took a good 2 weeks maybe for her to finally get the stone but I approved the stone and before confirming to send to the goldsmith, asked about the price again just as confirmation. I was told it was actually $200 less than the quote since I was willing to pay cash. The ring was sent to the goldsmith and I was told it would take maybe a week more. Mind you, we are now at 3 weeks when I was told 7-10 days. She messaged me 3 weeks after I had first visited the shop and said it would be available to pickup that day after a certain time. I told her that was great and I would drop by that day or the next. She then texted me a few hours later saying the goldsmith let her know they had to add more gold because the gem was pretty large and that she would tell me the price once she got the ring in hand. And of course, that wasn't an issue on my end since she had already explained there might be a little more or less gold. Her next text said the goldsmith had to create the ring as 12.34 grams of gold instead of the 8 grams and the total for the ring was now $720 more than what I was expecting. $720 is an insane up charge and something I was not at all happy to hear. I called Priya right then and talked to her about this big issue. She said the goldsmith had to add more gold because the gem was large and on and on and on. I asked why in the world she would not first ask me if I am ok with them adding that much extra gold and if I was ok with paying $720 more? She did not have an answer and said she understood why I was angry and apologized. She said the goldsmith makes 4-5 rings for her a week and he didn't call her before he made it. I asked if they could remove the extra gold and she said no since it would ruin the ring. She said she could either keep the ring or she could send me a video of the ring in case I did want to purchase. I told her I absolutely was not interested so no need to send me any videos because I was not going to pay that much additional money. Overall, just a very bad look for this place. First off, how does your goldsmith just add that much extra gold without contacting you first and then you asking the customer if they are even ok with that? Second, I was first told it would be ready in 7-10 days and it ended up taking 3 weeks. Another issue I had was I found Priya's tone to be rude sometimes and even condescending. When I went to the store, I had again asked the price after chatting with another employee there. The employee asked Priya about the charge and in a very rude tone, she told him that she had already told me the price over the phone. I drove 1.5 hours there so I am of course going to ask the price again and will not blindly just say yes to a large purchase like that. My advice is do not shop here. I didn't find this place honest or trustworthy and will not be going back. I am now back at square one in finding a ring and basically wasted close to a month in this fiasco. It's a better idea to go to a jewelry shop that knows how to do honest business. read more

Wow, this is a fantastic establishment!!! We didn't bother looking at reviews before entering. My mom and I were driving by, and she suddenly insisted that she wanted to get me something for Diwali. It is hard for me to accept gifts from her, but she pitched it to me by pointing out that we never get time together, plus this business shares a name with my older daughter. we entered, and we were greeted by Srinivas, Varsha, and Priya. they were all absolutely lovely to engage with. My mom picked out a ridiculously fancy set for me, and as uncomfortable as I was with the entire experience, Priya and her team could not have possibly made it more, inviting and comfortable! She charged us unreasonably for exchanging a 4.7 gm, 22 carat ear rings brought in their store with a 2.3 gm 18 carat ring. when I asked to explain why she is charging instead of giving credit, she faltered and gave lame reasons. I recently visited to melt my 22k gold chain. They offered $66 per gram for my gold but were selling their own 22k gold for $99 per gram, even though the current US market rate is $77 per gram.
