I had my car cleaned by Paul and Chris from Pro & Local Detailing and I was amazed to see what a professional car wash/detail really looked like. I've always kept my cars clean but visited the drive through car wash not knowing that the brushes and towels they used were actually scratching my car. Paul took time out to show me the small scratch and swirl marks caused by improper cleaning methods and how I can prevent from getting them in the future. The information Paul gave me showed me that he is a very well trained technician dedicated to his craft. I received a "1-step" polishing service that removed a majority of the scratches and swirls from the paint on my BMW. I couldn't believe the reflection. They also even cleaned the inside of my rims and wheel wells, something the drive through has never done to my satisfaction. The most improved part was probably the inside of my windshield which was covered in tar from my terrible chain smoking habit. I didn't even realize it was dirty until I got back in my car and saw through my windshield. They removed the smell from the interior also with a shampoo and "odor bomb". Very impressed. Most convenient thing was that they did this all in my driveway! After endless hours of research of ceramic coatings for my new black GMC Sierra I ended up focusing on Opti-Coat. I found Paul and his company Pro & Local Detailing to be the only Opti-Coat certified installer in my area. I spoke with Paul numerous times before making my decision to coat my truck. This company is worth your time! Paul handles your car as if it was his own. His work speaks volumes for itself. I didn't know much about detailing until I met Paul. Like he says on the website, he will come to you to get the work done. My neighbor, who fixes up and sells cars on the side kept using him, and trusting my neighbor, I decided hey why not. I had been using those automatic car washes for a while and noticed swirling patterns that were appearing on my car but wouldn't come off. At that point I was like, maybe I just need someone to buff it out. I called Pro and local to get an estimate but also got an education. Those auto car washes are terrible for your car, if you think you're doing your car a favor by constantly using them think again. You're probably just damaging the vehicles paint. Bought a new truck, looked up PPF and ceramic coating locations around CT, and Pro and Local looked to be the best option. They did NOT disappoint!!! Had the truck ceramic coated and PPF applied to the front end. Each step of the way the friendly staff sent me pictures and updates via text and got the car back in ~24 hours. They reviewed everything with me from how to best take care of the coating/PPF and the warranties, which are quite long. The total cost was a little pricy but that builds in touch-ups and in person check-ins to insure the applications are still holding up and if they need a refresh. Always remember you get what you pay for... Even with 400 miles on the truck I still had paint chips in the bumper which they touched up as a part of the whole process. I will be going back to Pro and Local for all my auto detailing needs and on all future vehicles. We spend a lot on our cars and it's totally worth it to protect them as long as possible! read more

The service provided for my husband was absolutely superb! When I was searching for a an interior detailing service for my husbands vehicle, who would have thought that I would stumble across service that was of the up most quality. The owner was very accommodating to my needs in order for me to be able to do this for my husband. They even came to my home to clean the vehicle while my husband and I went out to celebrate our anniversary. The look of happiness on my husband's face was priceless!!! They did an amazing job!! His car had very nasty stains on the drivers seat due to him working with chemicals, greas, and eating on the go, not to mention that we have 3 children! I used to take my car through automatic car washes all the time, when i noticed an annoying swirling pattern on the paint. It wouldn't go away no matter how clean the car was. After talking to Paul i realized the damage the washes had done on the paint. We Booked a two step Polish detail and the car was 100 x better. I'm very pleased with the work and the professionalism Paul brings to the business. I'm now on a maintenence detail schedule with the company and have never been happier with the way my car looks. My car is a 2010 model but glistens like a 2016 model. You get what you pay for in the end, so any one who tries to make a deal will probably find shortcuts to make it happen. Another fantastic cleaning job, this time for my pickup truck. Who knew it could look so good after all these years? My windshield had failed so I had a water leak and the wet carpet smell was unbearable. The grinding repair work left a film of black soot all over the dashboard and inside the cab. Paul scheduled me right away and the team did a fantastic job deep cleaning the carpets and interior. The price was reasonable for the work they do and I drove away a satisfied customer. Stopped in to see Paul on a Saturday and was impressed with the quick and professional job he did for me. I just went in for a few minor touch up things and he was very helpful in explaining what he was going to do. One of the jobs was some touch up on some rock chips, and Paul explained that if I felt more paint was needed in a couple of days to feel free to stop on back and he would fix it. I had someone write with marker on the hood of my car. I was so pissed. It's a brand new Hyundai Elantra N-Line. I called these guys - they saw me same day - removed the paint and fixed a minor scratch that occurred at the same time as the drawing.
